Coastal Air and Heat Did Check of the hvac system. Technician arrived on time. Cleaned the coils and cleared The condensation drain. Tested compressor Amp Draw and everything checked out. Though We needed new system because years ago was told That compressor was pulling too many amps. Your Technician said everything was good . Really liked the honesty .

Steve from Coast Air & Heat came out promptly to look at our AC, which was freezing up in the evenings. He was professional and extremely courteous. With the coronavirus pandemic, we were very anxious about having a repair person at the house, but he was very respectful of our health concerns. He wore a mask the correct way (over his mouth and nose) the whole time and maintained proper social distancing. Best of all, he performed the required maintenance and our AC is blowing cool again without freezing.

Coast installed an AC unit on 6/16/17. We were happy with the install and the value we received and no issues whatsoever. Our 1 year maintenance follow-up happened today 8/17/20 after over 3 years due to a roofing accident that had displaced us from our home for over 2 years. When I scheduled service with Coast Air & Heat, I was given a two hour window of when the Service Technician would arrive.On the scheduled day of arrival, I received a text from the Service Tech who introduced himself as Steven with Coast Air and Heat. Steven informed me that he was running behind schedule and would be at my location shortly and would let me know when he was headed my way. It was really refreshing to be notified of the delay but, I wouldnt have expected anything less from their Technicians.About thirty minutes later Steven call to let me know he would be at my location in twenty minutes. He arrived within the twenty minute window and was very cordial and polite and explained that he would be performing my bi-annual maintenance.After Steven completed maintenance on the unit, he explained in detail the problem(s) he found and what he had done to fix or correct these problem(s). One problem that he noticed was that my Hurricane Straps that hold the outside unit down had rusted completely in half. I had nothing holding my unit down!I can truly and honestly say I have never had a bad experience with Coast Air & Heat nor their Office Staff or their Service Technicians. From my experience with Coast Air & Heat I sincerely believe the customer comes first and they are dedicated to providing the best service to their customers.Wayne Dahl

Tech came out Saturday to check out my AC. Said blower motor was bad but couldn’t get one to me till Monday. Monday came and I got an email confirmation but nobody came. When I called the receptionist was rude and just said they are busy and sorry. The only saving grace was chuck. Dude came out Tuesday and said there was nothing wrong with my ac but cleaned it out for me since it was already opened up. But I basically had no ac for no reason for 3 days because of laziness...

Late one Friday evening in August our AC stopped working. After I called & left a voice message, Steve from Coast Air & Heat quickly responded and was at our home within one hour. He quickly found the problem & fixed our AC within the next hour. We sincerely appreciate the quick response & repair. We recommend Coast Air & Heat.

Coast Air & Heat were definitely amazing to work with. I would recommend them to anyone seeking an opinion on their AC unit. I was told by many companies I needed a new unit, but when they came out the Technician was very honest and we were able to repair the unit instead of replacing it. Having a medical condition where heat in intolerable they were kind, caring, honest and had my unit working the same day. I am forever grateful for the work they have done and for their honesty as well. It is hard today to find honest a honest, caring company. Would highly recommend.

Coast Air and Heat has done a great job installing the right equipment and maintaining it over the years at my house. They always give great recommendations on equipment while taking into account cost. Until Coast replaced my main AC unit two years ago, I was never really happy with the multiple companies I had do my AC work in the past. But now, I am an extremely happy customer and have had duct work, LED air purifiers, and maintenance work in addition to AC installation done exclusively by them ever since. They come up with very smart solutions, do outstanding work, and have fair pricing. I couldnt ask for more!

This company does not have competent technicians to diagnose any problems. Ive given them three different accounts that when called required minimum of two visits (charging both times) and they still couldnt get the job done. They have a snippy receptionist that treats you like youre doing them a favor. I would NEVER recommend this company.

Weve used Coast Air and Heat for about seven years. This was an emergency caused by a plugged drain line on the a/c unit. Happenedat 5PM on a Friday -- not good timing. But we called right away and the technician arrived on time, did a thorough job in about an hour, with no problems. Overall, an excellent job!9-25-21: Coast Air and Heat does a terrific job! During a routine exam of the heat pump, which had been cooling well, the technician discovered that the air handler had been leaking refrigerant and there was only a marginal amount left. He ordered a new part, the office staff determined that the unit was still under a ten-year warranty, and the new part was installed in a few days, with a net amount of only $120 due from us. Great work!!Coast Air and Heat is reliable, friendly, the technicians and office staff know what theyre doing and they dont want all your money to do it.

The technician John was on time, was courteous, and did a detailed servicing of both the inside and outside A/C units. He also was informative on how I should be maintaining my A/C in between the schedule service calls.

Had employee stop by on Monday to gather information for a quote. Heard nothing on Wed and called office. Office said employee is generating a quote but should call. He never called and same happened on Thursday. After not being contacted on Friday, I call another AC installer and got a quote within an hour of him arriving. They are installing next Wed/Thurs.

Called at 3:45pm on a Friday, Kristen answered the phone and told me she would get right back to ....yea sure! Yep, less than 5 minutes and she called me back to tell me that the service guy would be at my house within 15 minutes...again, yea sure. Sure enough, 10 minutes later Joe showed up and quickly diagnosed the problem - bad capacitor. Replaced and even cleaned my coils out to boot. Back up and running - on Friday mind you - in 30 minutes!!! Awesome service!!!!

Recently had Coast do extensive warranty work on my 7 year old Bryant condenser unit. Lost A/C on a Thursday night, called them on a very rainy Friday morning after a few hours researching and calling local A/C companies to get someone out to take a look. The owners son was in the area and showed up in just a couple hours and quickly diagnosed the problem. Coast office personnel had a quote, fair and honest, to complete the work, with the parts being covered under Bryant warranty, a few hours after that. Unfortunately, not at any fault of Coast, it was a Friday afternoon by now and they had to scheduled the repair for Monday morning. It was a hot weekend but at least it was cloudy and overcast for most of it and with a bit of an ocean breeze it was bearable. The owner of Coast showed up Monday morning as scheduled and completed the lengthy repair job to my liking, and trust me when I say that because Im a mechanical engineer with OCD and Im very particular. He also answered all of my questions and concerns and was just a really friendly and nice guy to have work on my system and I trust the job he did. In fact, everyone I was in contact with at Coast was very friendly and genuinely helpful in getting my A/C back up and running as quickly as possible. I will definitely use and recommend them for future A/C issues. Thanks Coast.

I am so glad we found an honest and trustworthy A/C company. Coast took care of us when we were in a vulnerable position. We had no air for 6 days. We needed a new motor for our a/c. We had called a previous company, not realizing they were going to rip us off. Thank goodness we called Coast Air & Heat for a second opinion. They were very honest with us and notified us that our broken motor was still under warranty, so all we had to pay for were the labor costs. Let me tell you, that was a fraction of the cost that the 1st company was going to charge us. Its so hard to find honest people/companies these days.
