This company was from a referral. They have an awesome a/c maintenance plan. It’s a super value fir service twice a year. A message was sent ahead of the techs arrival. He was knowledgeable, he was experienced, and didn’t sell anything like parts or extra Freon. He even checked my insulation b/ I was complaining of always being hot in back bedroom.Nice to find honorable companies!

After shopping the competition hearth and home not only came in with a great price, but the BEST warranty, that is important to me because I live on the beach. They got my old unit to run for one more day so my wife and I could stay cool, and we’re out installing the new unit the very next day, so once we called hearth and home we were never uncomfortable again. Their team was professional and fantastic, and our new AC is MUCH quieter than our old, we used to have to always adjust the TV volume. A+ service!

I called an Hearth and Home for an emergency situation for my 94 year old aunt. They came very promptly but recommended she get a $1,800 worth of repairs and parts. After getting a second opinion, all she needed was her Freon refilled which cost around $400. They were totally looking to take advantage of her age and our lack on knowledge on air conditioners to make extra money in an emergency situation. So disappointing. Due to this, she was without air conditioning in the middle of July in Florida for 4 days.

I had an employee (Jeremy Sorum) come out to take a look at a jacuzzi I purchase from Mr. Fireplace. He gave great service and was very helpful and friendly.

Great company! My A/C started acting funny and I started calling. First place I called still hasnt called me back and that was 2 days ago. Second place was Hearth and Home. Not only did a person pick up (and not the voicemail), but they understood my situation and arranged for someone to come out from the time I called to 6:00. Okay, cool. Technician shows up an hour later very professional and listening to my explanation. He looked all over and was great about asking questions and telling me what he was going to do or check. In the end, the parts and things that would be needed would cost more than a whole new unit. Technician got me an estimate and I slept on it.Next day (Friday), I visited the office. Wonderful space and friendly staff all around. We talked and the deal was right. They were honest with me about seeing if someone would come out over the weekend but at the latest Monday. I was overjoyed that the technician from before and another would come out today (Saturday). They arrived on time, were professional, told me what they were doing before they did, and overall treated me better than a customer.Hearth and Home is a wonderful company and I will recommend them to everyone I know. Repair of fireplace. First time, part was broken. Re-ordered. Jeremy Sorum did an excellent job. Very knowledgeable. Above and beyond the job. Very helpful. Hearth and Home is one of the best companies I have ever dealt with. I called the company for a new A/C quote based on a friend’s recommendation and could not be happier. The service manager, Rick, spent 1 ½ hours with me in my home on the initial visit, patiently answering my numerous questions (I had done a LOT of research on A/C’s and Air Handler’s so I could make an informed decision).Once I ask for their proposals, John, owner of Hearth and Home brought several written proposals for different BTU levels and SEER ratings for my review. I never felt that they were just trying to “make a sale”, but desired to install a good product and one that was best for our home.On the install day, both technicians, Robert and Harold were here early in the morning, as scheduled and WOW were they awesome! I was snapping pictures throughout the entire process so I could send them to my husband who was out of town. I was really impressed by their superb work and very visible dedication to their crafts.Robert organized and tie wrapped all the wiring on the inside of the air handler which will make it easier to maintain during the life of the unit. Additionally, everything he attached to both the air handler and the outside unit is organized and protected against weather as well as strings from weed-wacker! He also got some of my living room paint and painted the wall after he took the old thermostat off so it would have clean lines when he put the new one in! Can you believe that?Harold’s work was superb as well. He completely rebuilt the air handler box, and although it took a good portion of the day, never tried to rush through or compromise the quality of what he was building. He made a good, well built, sturdy, strong box. He not only put mastic on the outside of the box, he put it on the inside as well (and he used ¾ “plywood instead of OSB board – which was what the old one was built with); he also put it on the inside and outside of both the new supply and return plenums.After they finished the install, my garage was spotless. These guys were unbelievable!!I am SO happy I went with this company and have told several friends about my experience with them. They delivered exactly what they promised.If you are in the market for a new A/C or are looking for a company to provide a maintenance program for your old one, do yourself a favor and call Hearth and Home.

I highly recommend Hearth and Home for any A/c repair or system replacement. They have serviced 2 of my home systems for years and I can’t say enough good things about them. A nightmare scenario turned into a happy ending. AC was broken and unfortunately no one could do anything until monday. repair man was able to come out and restore basic functionality to Older AC unit, when newer unit was not available. guys came out on tuesday early and installed new AC unit quickly and professionally as well as new thermostat. now chilling -heh- with new AC unit and very happy.

This is a great company to deal with! We bought a new unit about 7 years ago and bought the maintenance plan for it. It has worked great, and the couple of times we have had a funky problem with it we could call them anytime 24/7 and get ahold of someone to give us advice on it. This time, Jeremy Sorom came out to do the maintenance and he was super. Very informative and did a little extra for us with cleaning out the outside unit. (We didnt realize so much debris had gotten in it.) But, he cleaned it all out and gave us other advice, also.

We just purchased a new spa from Mr. fireplace.They took away our old spa and brought the new one exactly the time they promised. They also send someone over to help us understand how it works. Dan was a tremendous help to us through the whole process and Dan and Rob really know their stuff. We appreciated all they did. We love our spa. Also Greg who sold it to us was very informative and professional.All around great company.

My AC decided to stop cooling this (holiday) weekend. I contacted Hearth and Home and requested their senior technician Jeremy Sorum. I have used Jeremy for years, even before he joined the H&H team. He has always been professional and knowledgeable and able to identify and resolve my problem expeditiously. Over the years I have come to have a high level of confidence in his work and will not hesitate to call him whenever the need arises.

We installed cooling and heating system and Jeremy Sorum showed up and showed us a cooling brand and after we accepted it, he try to sell us lower brand and I said no. Then after 6 month, we had warranty called and he try to sell us maintenance service for $180 and after I said no and ask him a question he yell at me. So I let him to finish his job and left. Please do not let him in your house. Jeremy Sorum think that you do not know anything and can trick you and sell you high price AC brand. The lady owner was informative and nice to us.

We purchased our AC unit here and couldnt be happier! Jeremy was our technician for installation of a new coil on our AC system. He has been our tech on a couple previous occasions and has always been courteous, knowledgeable and very efficient. We have been pleased with his work each time he has been to our home. Our new coil was installed in a very neat and efficient manner. He always makes good suggestions and looks to improve our equipment whenever possible. He does a very nice job overall and gets three thumbs up from us.

This is the best company of any kind that I have ever dealt with! The owner, John came out to give us an estimate and then scheduled us the very next day to install. They were very professional very nice and full of information. The new compressor had a small leak which was fixed and I was happy. My system is great, coolest my home has ever been. The next day they came back to put my grills in for my returns and the owner called them to tell them a new compressor was on its way to install. Even though everything was perfect he wanted us to have a new one since the one they had installed the day before had the little leak from the manufacturer. Another company probably would not have done that. If you are in need this is the company to deal with.

We have been using this company for years. We do so because they are always nice, competent and come when they say they will. We remain loyal to companies that treat us right and this is one of them.

I have an old A/C (2008) at a beachside location, installed by Hearth and Home. This is amazing considering the salty air at our location. I have been on an annual maintenance contact throughout and they have kept me running on such an old system for a reasonable price with prompt and professional service. If major repairs were needed, they handled the paperwork without any problems with the warranty provider.

Tech Jeremy Sorgum was very knowledgeable and efficient when he performed my A/C maint. work. He explained what was needed and showed me what to do to avoid any future problems that could occur. I appreciated his help. When I need any future service I will ask if he is available and request his service.

Called with an issue, Sam came out within 1.5 hours of me calling and was very knowledgeable and quick to help with my issue. Unfortunately I have to replace the whole unit due to it being very old and having a leak. Very satisfied with the tech. No run around straight to the point and didn’t try to sell me parts to fix a larger issue.

Purchased a j315 hot tub. Dan was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions I had about the tub. He even showed up to my house on the date of the install to ensure everything went smoothly while setting the tub in place. The two other installers were friendly and efficient in setting up the new tub and explaining to me how everything works. All in all I am very satisfied with their services.

My family and I were without AC overnight. Called so many places and no one was able to come out. Called Heart and Home and they came out within less than 30 min after our phone call, found the problem, fixed it same day and now our AC is working perfect. The service person was on time, very nice, had all the equipment out and started within 10 minutes of arrival.This was a laundry dryer vent issue and it was very clogged.When he finished it had been completely cleaned out, cleaned up and job done.I highly recommend this company.

I hired H&H to do an annual maintenance and cleaning of my wood-burning fireplace. The technician showed up on time and was very nice and got right to work. When he turned on the vacuum cleaner to begin cleaning, the filter was not in place which led to my fireplace soot being deposited throughout my entire home. I was in disbelief! The technician was shocked and very upset at what had happened and was very apologetic. He promptly called his office to let them know what happened and seemed very upset by the incident. I had just paid to have my house cleaned two days prior and was not happy. He was kind enough to offer some compensation which was not my goal nor expected but was appreciated.. A very simple cleaning & maintenance call turned out to be a huge mess for me.There was no offering to clean up the mess.I understand these things can happen but I would highly recommend that prior to turning on any equipment that has a filter be checked prior to the actual cleaning to avoid this happening in another customers home.Overall, it was a pretty disappointing experience.I would like to make an edit to my original post: the manager of the store called me later in the day to let me know the owner felt bad about what occurred and offered me a full refund on the service. I did let her know that that was never my intention to get anything for free but was about the poor experience overall. These are nice people and I realize things happen. It becameobvious to me that good customer service is important to them therefore I would give them a try in the future. Thank you Home & Hearth for your acknowledgment it was very much appreciated.

I am changing my review today from my previous 5 star. I was highly disappointed in the Annual Maintenance that I received. I understand that we have signed the paper agreeing that it was satisfactory and I am asking for nothing in return. I just want to let people know that they need to ask what will actually be done at the annual maintenance. According to their website it includes lubricating moving parts, cleaning and adjustment of blower components, checking thermostat settings. I also assumed that there would be cleaning of condenser coils as every other company offers that. I take responsibility for not verifying what exactly was to be completed. I was informed that cleaning is not part of the annual maintenance and that no other company would be doing anything more. Essentially annual maintenance is just a check list that they mark that they completed things. I was not home during the time it was completed but my father was. He said he did not check the blower and only made recommendations on an observation of a vibration (which we mentioned when I ordered the maintenance) He said looking at the blower wasnt part of maintenance. He removed the washable filter on the air handler in the garage and told us to only use the one on the air return near the ceiling in the living room. He never looked at what was up there. Also even though R410A was marked on our paper my dad was told it was R22. The technician did respond to all questions that were asked and was very polite and professional. The company was definitely responsive to follow up on if we wanted a new unit that was quoted installed and if we can move forward.

Jeremy Sorum came out to our house today to do a regular maintenance for our air conditioner. He really took his time to service it and went above and beyond to explain how to maintain it. He is a great technician, very knowledgeable. We will definitely ask for him next time.

My AC broke on Saturday Memorial Day Weekend. I called Hearth & Home around 10 am, the nice lady said someone would call me shortly, within 15 min Robert called and said he was on the way and would be there within 30-45 min and he was. He was extremely nice, professional and most important knowledgeable. He showed us the problem, walked through what he could do to help us through the weekend and checked out the rest of the unit.. it is a 15 years old- we knew it needed to be replaced. He gave us options on replacing, fair pricing and then fixed ours with new motor and Freon so we could make it through holiday weekend. He was back out on Tuesday with Harold (I requested him through the office, because he is very knowledgeable) they were here all day (10hours) he took the time to explain everything to me on how to maintain, new thermostat and they cleaned everything up better than when they came. I could recommend a better team. You hear bad stories about some AC companies, but I did research and by far the best pricing, best service and they gave me the unit that meets my needs.

We were being proactive before we had any major issues with our AC unit.We got several estimates, We went with Hearth and Home even though they were not the least expensive. They cleaned and inspected my fireplace. I expected a big mess but they were very careful, put drop cloth down and left everything as they found it.

These guys are here for you. They know what they are doing and both times we have needed service, it was taken care of very timely. This last time, Sam came out and took the time to explain the sutuation with our AC and pointers on how to maintain the water line.Overall, really great, professional, and personable service.

Technician was great, pleasant and professional. However, too pricey! They charged me $129. For 10 mins of work . My pilot went out but we couldn’t figure out how to ignite the pilot. The Tech. Did in 2 seconds. Still had to pay $129. 😯
