Had another great experience with Back Savers! The latest endeavor was quite a challenge moving a massive behemoth hot tub from the back of my truck. After some friends told us they couldnt help us move at the last minute I called Back Savers Saturday afternoon hoping they could have a couple guys help my parents load their rental truck with stuff on Monday. We needed movers immediately following a holiday and wonderful Marcus and his team from Back Savers Moving were amazing at moving everything from heavy antiques to a very heavy workbench, from a 3 level condominium with a steep and short driveway! They were cheerful, so careful with our things and willing to install things at new address. We will ask for Marcus and his same team when we move our office. They moved us on a hot day and kept up the pace for over 8 hours! We love these guys!

We recently had a move from southern Oregon to Salem. The only thing that saved the move was Marcus and his wonderful moving team. Thanks to their hard work our house got packed up and moved and unpacked with care and speed. I cannot say enough about how much I appreciate the actual movers.That being said unfortunately I can only give the service three stars as we were originally scheduled to be packed up on Saturday morning at 10:30 AM apparently there was an issue with the truck and yes I understand things happen things were moved back until 3 o’clock. Well at 3 o’clock we still had no answer at this time my husband and I started to reach out to the owner who was apparently MIA. Marcus again was able to arrange a truck and save the day. I’ve left multiple voicemails and text messages for the owner to please call and talk to me about the situation and what was going on and unfortunately I never heard from him. After multiple emails and text from my husband he finally answered my husband via text message.I hope that this was just a one off for him and his company because again I appreciate their services I am just really disappointed in the Lack of communication and apparent care from the small business owner.

My Realtor recommended them and this is the second time I have used them. The movers themselves were fantastic. They showed up, worked hard, and were really respectful towards our belongings. They made us feel safe with our items, and it was done in a short manner. An item broke (It was our fault, we packed it horribly), and both workers were sincerely apologetic and tried to make it right (but again, our fault, not them.The three star review was because we scheduled the appointment a month in advance. Three days before the appointment, I had confirmed the date/time, and then the next day, also confirmed the date/time, and the company still had me scheduled for the wrong day. Lead to a lot of stress, but thankful that the two movers still showed up.

We’ve used Back Savers Moving Services twice now, once for a local move when we sold our home in Medford to move to temporary digs, and then again a few months later to move across the country (OR to PA). Both moves went smoothly – Josh has an amazing local crew! For our local move, guys showed up on time, were courteous, and took great care of wrapping/protecting our furniture, loaded and unloaded very efficiently. We were then glad to learn that Josh can also handle long-distance moves. We got several quotes from different entities for our OR-PA move, and while Back Saver wasn’t the cheapest, it was the company that would give an actual delivery date (within a few days), and the price quoted was the price we actually paid. I learned the hard way that other moving companies/brokers farm out jobs to whomever, consolidate loads so your stuff often ends up on a truck with others, and they won’t guarantee delivery time, nor quoted price. Josh/Back Savers is not like that – our furniture was packed with great care, and only our items were on one truck (that’s important if you’re planning a long-distance move!!), and our items were in our new home five days later! That’s amazing for a long distance move. The lead mover on our PA move was Johnny who is not only a conscientious, courteous, and kind soul, but a thoughtful professional who went the extra mile(s) for us. We can’t thank Johnny, especially, enough for ensuring we were taken care of and had our belongings placed where we needed and made sure we were feeling good about it all. We had some crazy heavy/awkward pieces that needed to go upstairs around tight turns and through small doorways- very challenging, but Johnny made it happen (thank you Johnny! And thanks, too, for keeping your good humor through it all, too!! :). We recommend Josh and his team at Back Savers without hesitation.

I am very happy about the experience I had to day with my movers. They packed up my uhaul perfect. Was so fast we finished in only 2 hours. They were very nice to my kids and I really appreciated how hard they worked. I will definitely recommend them to others. I needed my times changed 2x and the company had no problem with it. Nathan and Alex moved our furniture from the storage unit on our property, into our renovated house. They went above and beyond. They were careful, attentive and experienced. They were so patient moving furniture to different areas, until we found the right placement. They moved tile that was in a bad spot, without my asking. So considerate. Best experience! I would highly recommend them and will use them for our next round.

They were Wonderful! Attentive, quick, caring. We hired a three person team to help us move to our new home. They took extra care with everything. They even paid attention to the labels on boxes. Edited 9/8/21 Josh has cleared his debt with us and made it right. He has also provided current proof of insurance to us.We appreciate his effort.We had used this company before and were satisfied, but then there was no damage to furniture on that move. However, the second time, an item was damaged, but the owner assured me (in writing} that he would take it to be repaired and his insurance would cover it. He informed us that we would pay in full for the move immediately or the item would be taken to the dump. For some reason the item was damaged further by a saw before it was delivered for repair. Lies, lies and more lies - one thing told to the repair company and another to us. After repair was complete, Josh (owner) was belligerent and refused to pay for the repair. We learned he is not in compliance with Oregon Department of Transportation regulations and that as far as we could learn from the Oregon Insurance Commission, he is not insured. A $300 repair became $1600 because of the extra damage done with a saw. We paid it because he chose to ignore his responsibility. Beware and do your homework! There is a serious lack of integrity here.

Hiring Back Savers was the smartest thing I could have done when it came to moving. Johnny did an amazing job loading the truck - he is a master planner when it comes to moving - my 100 year old antiques arrived without a chip, ding or scratch. Johnny was professional, dedicated and honest and when he couldnt do the unload - he assured me the rest of the Back Saver team would be able to do it - and he was right. This was my first experience with a full-service moving company. The owner Josh, is extremely easy to work with! My 4 man crew (Landon, Chris, Johnny, and Tyson) on day one totally exceeded my expectations. They are polite, hard-working, fun, men and they all take pride in providing quality work. I’ve used Backsavers twice and I’ve been truly impressed and appreciative both times! My last move with Landon and Johnny (Oatmeal) was actually inspiring because the strength, hustle, and endurance of these men is just amazing. Moreover, the gentle care they used with my antiques made me feel respected and completely trust them. I had some crazy heavy things, upwards of 400 pounds, and they were authentically open to carrying them wherever they needed to go. Massive jagged crystal cluster from one backyard to the other, no dolly, placed just so on a little hill, no problem...WOW! They also went the extra mile placing dressers into the back of my closet, setting up my antique four poster bed, and even changing things around at the end of the day (night!) when I would change my mind about placement. These guys are great! They made my move a very positive experience!

This was our first time in using a moving company. When we called to make the reservation, Josh was very informative and professional, explaining everything very well and helping us make the reservation.On moving day Alex and Topher arrived a few minutes early and were ready to start working. They are very professional and can easily move large, heavy items with no problem. They were careful with our furniture and used blankets and wrap to make sure nothing was damaged. They also were great about getting things done as quickly as possible.They moved our items into the new house and placed them where we wanted them. They were even OK with moving a couple items to a different location after we noticed it didnt look good where we thought it would.When their job was done and we were unpacking boxes later that evening we couldnt find the control box for the electric recliner so we called the Josh who said he would put us in contact with Alex or Topher. Within 5 minutes Alex returned our call and when I explained what we were looking for he knew exactly where it was in our garage, very impressive!!These 2 gentlemen were very pleasant and helpful, we would definitely recommend this company for your moving needs!

Landon and Johnny did a great job. Because of scheduling issues, we got started late. I did get a phone call letting me know of the issue and was reassured that I would be taken care of. Landon arrived first, and he had almost the entire upstairs staged and ready to load before he and Johnny arrived. The two of them had all of my furniture loaded, moved, unloaded, and set into place in my new home in under 4 hours. This included navigating stairs and several heavy pieces. They were pleasant, professional, and willing to move furniture around all I wanted. They were very sensitive to the fact that they were handling other people’s life possessions. You could tell they really cared about doing a good job.

After a half hour of waiting they call me and tell me they’ll be two more hours late. Completely messed up my schedule as the storage unit will be closed. I planned my whole week around this, I’m a busy person. Unprofessional and unacceptable. I wouldn’t count on them if I were you!

I called around to multiple local movers to find someone to move my piano, and the owner was definitely the friendliest person I spoke with when shopping around. Pricing was competitive, and I was blown away by the care Johnny and Tyson took in moving the piano. At no point was I worried they were rushing the job or cutting corners. They were both super friendly, with a good sense of humor as well. Both had masks on when entering our houses, and they even helped me lift a burnt out riding mower that I have been unable to clear out since the fire. I can’t recommend these guys enough.

I booked this company to help my in-laws move across town. They were prompt and packed everything nicely in the truck. Inadvertently, a leg of a piece of furniture was broken but they repaired it to satisfaction. From beginning to end, the move was around 5 hours and they loaded and unloaded carefully but with a sense of urgency.They did so well with this move that I called them the next day to book a move in two days time for my daughter. Shockingly, they had an opening and I snagged them. Again, they were prompt and had everything loaded, moved, and unloaded in a little under 3 hours.I highly recommend this company and will use their services if needed in the future. They definitely live up to their name, Back Savers!

These fellows were awesome! We were sure we had way to much to fit on truck. Johnny is a Houdini of packing a truck and got it all in. They were pleasant, hardworking, careful with our things. Paul and Andy wrapped everything in shrink wrap and got it to John to load, except John helped with some of the heavy items. Our 26 foot truck was loaded floor to ceiling and side to side. Our move involved an hour’s drive each way, and this crew got loaded and unloaded in just a bit over the 8 hours. We are very pleased and very much recommend Back Savers. They are great.

These guys were AMAZING! My husband and I were certain it’d take several hours and multiple trips to get us from one place to the next but it took them an hour and a half to load it up and like 45-1 hour to unload with only one trip! Alex and Ryland were super fast, efficient, careful and even squeezed us into their schedules last minute. These guys know what they’re doing. We would recommend their services to ANY friends and family we have!

Couldn’t ask for better service. These two made it look so easy, and are very personable. Good humor and polite. They move constantly and have an excellent eye for caring for our furniture and filling our storage pod and garage bay. (We’re putting in new flooring). When we get the floors done and can put the furniture back in the house, we will definitely be asking for James and Tyson to come back.

I actually owe two reviews. We moved last year and found Back Savers in a Google search. Landon, Johnny, and Paul showed up on time and worked non-stop from 9am until 11pm in the heat. They were fast but careful and kept our spirits up with their friendly banter. They moved a piano (up a flight of stairs!) that they hadn’t realized was part of the move, and never complained. We had to move again this year, and knew who to call. We specifically asked for the same crew and were thrilled they were available. We have one more move coming up and they already know I’ll be calling. Thanks guys!

Johnny, Paul, and James are the magicians of movers. The whole process was fast and efficient, and they handed fragile items and TVs / screens with great care. The move-in was well coordinated and everything got to its right place. It was the best move we’ve had and would 100% work with them again.

It took 3 truck loads on 3 different days to move all our stuff across town. That was on me. The incredibly different experiences on those days, however, was on Back Savers. It totally depends on who shows up. If you get Chris, Tyson, Johnny, Paul or Mark W. its golden. Others, though were a disaster and a complete waste of money.

We used Back Savers to both unload our truck after moving states and then to move us from storage to our new home. The guys were professional, friendly, and worked hard the whole time. The packing job they did the second time blew us away compared to the company who packed us to leave CA. Their prices were very reasonable and the quality of work is well worth the price. I called Back Savers with literally no notice and asked for their help. I had already loaded a trailer and it just didn’t fit everything.The remnants were not the “Easy” part of a move if you get what I mean. Hands on miscellaneous “stuff”, along with a few pieces of furniture that needed to go to a storage unit. They answered and said they could be there soon and came out and busted tail to help me get finished.Johnny and Grace were a pleasure to work with and even worked late to help make sure we got as much done as possible. They cared about my stuff (more than I did by this point) and made sure that it was moved properly and not damaged or stored in a way that could lead to damage.I would 100% recommend them.

They showed up when they said they would, quickly made a plan of which pieces to move first, etc. All my furniture was carefully wrapped and dismantled, then put back together at my new home. Awesome communication between them and me. They were friendly and personable while keeping a professional and helpful demeanor. They even came prepared with water as it was a very hot day! But no complaints from these guys! I dont like moving, but these guys were wonderful and Ill absolutely use them again.

Ive hired Back Savers Moving twice now and have had a great experience both times. Today Johnny and Chris came to do an on-site move and handled my furniture with care and precision. They are professional and responsive to my requests. I would recommend them any time.

This was the first time in many moves, that I have hired a moving company to come in and pack up my home, Josh made everything so simple, we had a 5 bedroom home with an office, that had 9 years of accumulated stuff! The crew Landon & Rylan came in assessing the job and got right to it, they realized we had a lot of stuff and suggested we get another guy to come help, Jacob was there within the hour and they all worked very hard & efficiently, a solid 8 hours of work! These guys were all polite and professional to the end! We will be recommending these guys for sure! They also have a cleaning crew to help get your home move in ready after everything is out! Very impressed!

Tyler, Alex and Tyson expertly moved our old, heavy upright piano down stairs across the lawn and into their truck safely padded and secured. They also moved an antique melodian in the same fashion. Safe delivery to two locations was accomplished safely and in a timely fashion. They are our heros.

Johnny and Tyson were professional, strong and did a great job moving us. They packed everything well, and our furniture got moved safely. Would definitely use again and recommend!!

Johnny, Alex and Tyson and one more fella moved an antique melodeon and 650 lb upright piano with ease and very carefully. I had nothing to worry about and they were real nice guys to boot. I definitely recommend this company.

This company is the best! We needed someone to pack our belongings for a move across 2.5 states. The men who came were organized and efficient. They packed our U-boxes to hold our possessions snugly and yet protected each piece to ensure maximum use of space. They were careful with each piece and we felt sure we would receive our property in the same condition as it was before they started. No time was wasted. I will recommend this company to anyone.

We used Chris and the other young guy who works with him (sorry I forgot your name...). They were extremely courteous, worked hard, wrapped all the furniture in blankets and/or plastic wrap before moving it. They loaded up two storage PODs with some very heavy furniture and appliances and they did it all quickly and efficiently with no damage. I would highly recommend them. Josh (the boss) seemed very reasonable when we spoke with him on the phone despite having a family crisis at the time he made sure we were taken care of, which was very conscientious of him.

Today Johny and Alex helped us move from one town to another. These guys are professional, trustworthy, courteous, and more. They not only took excellent care of our belongings, they disconnected and reconnected all our appliances, set up our beds, put everything in the designated rooms. Personally they are life savers. We highly recommend them. We are so thankful that we heard about this company. Im still amazed at how over and beyond they went to take care of us.
