Great gym! I wish they would go back to their normal hours of 10 or 11 on weekdays. They have a sauna, hot tub, classes, a pool and a lot of really good equipment! 4 stars because of the hours other than that its great!

Hands down the best fitness club/gym I’ve ever been a member of! The staff is incredibly nice and respectful and the equipment is always clean and working properly. Highly recommend!!! Never switching gyms!!!

We experienced many billing issues that were ignored by the staff at every inquiry, phone calls never returned by the billing department, overcharged numerous times, extra withdrawals on our account. Verbally abusive coaching staff that used bullying of kids and demeaning remarks to the point our youngest son refused to return. Our oldest concurred with the horrible comments made but tried to stay on as he loves to swim. Terrible terrible experience at Duperior all around for our family!

They closed without notice for months in 2019. Without notice they restarted the contract they broke the contract by shutting the gym down. Then without notice I received a bill from them I have called and called to be removed only to be met by extremely aggressive collectors. So aggressive one named Lucas attempted to fight me. It was easy for you to shut your doors it should be easy for you to lose customers.

The gym is HUGE! Two stories and a awesome, beautiful, clean salt water lap pool. Every machine you can imagine under one roof. Worth every penny! I’m a new member but already reaping the benefits of this clean, friendly facility!

My husband has a membership there and he lifts weights on the weekends. He seems to like the place a lot.

Thank god for Superior! I personally dont know how anyone can stand all the purple at Planet Fitness. I guess you get what you pay for, eh?! Forever loyal to SUPERIOR!

When in town this is the place I train. Ive been coming here for 2 years and the staff have been consistency nice and helpful.Great mixture of equipment from all decades. Some of the best are the older pieces.I will keep coming here when in Medford.

The pool at this club is really enjoyable with good ventilation and clean water.

After being a member of this place I must say I could not be more happy to leave. It is expensive for what you get. The equipment is old and outdated. Many pieces of equipment need to be updated, however I doubt this will happen. The owner here Jim K is a pi** poor owner who is incompetent and is unable to read an entire document from start to finish. One of those who just reads the title and ignores the rest of the documents. If you dont believe me checkout their FB page to see the back peddling. DO NOT GO HERE! please sign up else where, somewhere that actually maintains their things, reinvest in their business and has people who actually care about their members. MANY better gyms in the Valley.Response: I did use another name, as I have seen you comment on other reviews asking for names and looking for peoples contracts. Feels like a huge invasion of privacy just to look up people because they leave a review you disagree with. This isnt the first time you have tried harassing customers who leave negative reviews.

Horrendous customer service. I can’t believe people pay to go here. Was wearing my mask with my nose out and got very abruptly barked at to pull my mask up. I pulled my mask up, turned around and was immediately barked at again because the worker thought I pulled it back down. I yelled “leave me alone” and he ripped me out of the building without giving me a re fund. Arrogant douche bag employees who think they rule the world. Wouldn’t wish my worst enemy to have to go to this gym. Not only is their customer service garbage, their equipment is subpar

Ive always loved the space to workout and plenty of equipment. However, I think after several years of being loyal its time to cancel and move on. I understand things are expensive but I feel the gym is falling apart. Alot of the equipment needs to be upgraded or at the very least fixed properly. The cleanliness and hygiene has gone way down. Im not trying to be completely rude towards the gym there are some really good people there but its time for a remodel.

I have been a member at Superior for several years, although that will be changing soon. I am tired of everything breaking down. The mens locker room has been in disrepair for many months. Between the spa and the sauna they cannot manage to keep things functioning. Their excuse is always the same- we are ordering parts How long does it take to get parts?! They use the excuse for several weeks and nothing ever gets repaired. Time to get a new maintenance person!

Nice pool that you can rarely use due to swim teams and old geezers that do not want to share lanes. Also, no lifeguard.

If I could give them 0 stars I certainly would! How do you chrge someone late fees when monthly dues are taken out of paycheck? Their answer: we have a once a year charge of $25.00 for something...and now they want to take out penalties for the $25 not being paid! P!&& off! Youve got enough of my money already!

Perfect for powerlifters without dropping major cash on a club or crossfit box. Plenty of barbells, racks, and platforms.

Beware of the membership here. I cancelled my membership when I moved away years ago, and they continued to accrue fees and then put it into collections. Conveniently Im getting the bill from collections now, when theyre probably hurting for money.

Excellent gym. Two floors and extremely spacious. Olympic size pool and jacuzzi inside locker room.

Superior Athletic Club has become a family to me and many friends. It is my happy place, and they have it all. Any classes you can imagine, three locations, pool, hot tub and Sauna!!!

This gym is awsome!

This huge gym has everything you could need including an olympic size pool, sauna, and great group classes. Leah Hughes is the best motivating spin instructor ever but all other staff is awesome as well. The only thing we would love to see is a tanning bed for Winter times but that is not a complaint! Thanks for all you offer Superior!

I was a member of Superior Athletic for 3 years when I lived in Southern Oregon. It’s the best gym in the area and the staff takes fitness seriously. I went 3-5xs a week and used the bicycles, salt pool, weights, variety room with kettle bells, Jacobs ladder, and gymnastic rings. You can definitely mix it up here.

Some of the best equipment around, never that crowded because of the great space involved.

For a small town, this was a great gym to go to while working in the area that kept up with the times in fitness better than most small town gigs.

Honestly i loved going there first couple of months i think Peter is a wonderful teacher and had a wonderful time learning from him but the crew that work their are very dis-respectful and rude. especially the manager i was not impressed with her attitude and she brings that to work with herobviously not the best gym they like to think they are in Oregoni would rather go someplace else that doesnt have out-dated machines and horrible customer satisfactionThanks

I have been going there for two years this time around and back in 2005 and 2006 while I lived here back then. Love the Cardley gym. I have never had a negative personal experience with any of the staff. Yeah the younger staff members arent always on top of saying bye and have a nice day on your way out of the gym but that doesnt actually bother me. The day care lady is very sweet and I love her no nonsense way about running the day care which I use almost weekly. I have been a professional Athlete for 14 years and feel like it has had everything and more to take care of my needs. I even let my 3 year old chase the requet ball around one of the courts for like 5 min and three employees walked by and did nothing but smile. They very well could have said that wasnt ok but saw that my son and I were having a blast and like I said, just smiled. I also go the Barnett location often as well and yeah the equipment isnt super top notch or great for heavy lifting but it completely serves their purpose and again my son loves going to the day care there. I do like how clean the Barnett one is kept with having disinfectant sprays available in all parts of the gym with wash clothes available as well. Wish the Cardley one had this as well. There are sanitary wipes available though in most areas in the gym where people sweat profusely but wouldnt mind them being everywhere for wiping down equipment. It really has been perfect for my family and myself when I was a mid 20s athlete. Thanks Superior.

The gym is nice, but if you ever run into any issues, the accounting team is very rude and not helpful in the least. After a few years (ep membership and Medford) with them I cancelled my membership right after the phone call I had with accounting which was literally the rudest thing I have ever experienced. Sad service.Update-the owner commented on this review, nothing was done to right the situation and I was not at all contacted by anyone from this facility.

Visited from Portland for a week and needed a drop in gym to keep progressing on a 5X5 program I am on. Been on the Strength & Conditioning program at Industrial Strength Gym for 9 months now and I did not want to lose any of my hard earned gainz. I needed to do 5X5 on 4 lifts. Deadlifts, squats, bench press, and press. I also needed chin-ups. You can do all these here. 2 deadlift bar jacks. 6 squat racks. 4 benches. 6 chin-up bars. Bumper plates. Kettle bells. Everything you need. There was a chalk station but it was empty. The next day there was some chalk in it. Better bring your own. Also it was hidden upstairs between some squat racks and not downstairs in the room where deadlifts, kettlebells, chin ups, and other barbell lifts were done which was weird. Opens at 4:30 am. Closes at 11:30 pm. Good for any schedule. Big lockers. Nice showers. $50 weekly or $12 daily. Good for someone like me visiting for a week or just a weekend. I really appreciate how this gym made it very easy for me to keep up on my program. I visit Medford often so I will be doing the drop in again.

Lots of space to get a workout in. A small indoor basketball court, racquet ball courts and a swimming pool was available for us to use. As well as a free weight area and some machines. There was also a CrossFit type area downstairs. Came to do some Olympic weightlifting and there were bars and plates to get a workout done.Lots of things you can do to stay fit. Too bad I was only here for a day.

People are friendly and the facility is clean. My only complaint is that they dont have any machines for short people, especially bike machines.

Run... run screaming. We joined SAC as part of a employee plan 4 years ago... and when we moved north a couple years back I went down to cancel my account... but the facility was undergoing maintenance and shut down for the week. I called and left numerous messages to shut the account down... with no return phone calls. I finally got ahold of a front desk rep after the move who assured me everything was taken care of.Oh how wrong she was. Come to find out, they refuse to cancel an account except in PERSON... and they forwarded our account to collections for a $65 bill...... never called... never wrote us a letter (yes we have mail forwarding).I say again... lose the calories the healthy way... by running as fast as you can from this place.

Cost of monthly payments are okay but they charge you yearly admin fees, start up fees, locker fees (tiny lockers only), fee to borrow racquetball equipment (I just wanted to use the racquets for 1/2 hour and they charged $10!), the upstairs weight rooms have ZERO sanitizing spray and/or wipes to clean the equipment after guys drip their sweat everywhere. Broken or worn out old equipment with no visual aids on how to properly use the equipment like any other updated fitness facility I have been to. They pride themselves for being here since 1978 and I swear most of their equipment upstairs is from 1978. Filthy floors, even in the morning! Very disappointed. The staff is friendly, but Id rather continue going to Anytime or Snap and not deal with staff altogether. The equipment at Snap or Anytime is at least clean and updated.

The pool was great and the staff was helpful even when it was busy.

The place is very overrated, the staff was very rude and acted like you were lucky just to be allowed in the door. I mainly got the membership for me and my son to swim after work in the pool but the pool was taken from Mon-Fri 5-7 by the swim team which is all they seem to care about rather than the paying members. When I told the manager it was kind of ridiculous to pay 100/mo for a pool Im not allowed to use, they pretty much told me to to *&^% off. Needless to say, I canceled my membership.
