Fantastic Deck construction:My wife and I decided to contract Sunrise Roofing to replace our 30 year old deck at our home in Nesconset. Shefield was a “No Nonsense” sales person and did a great job explaining the process and detailing the costs so we could easily understand. He gave us a start date and 3 days before that date, we received a courtesy call to let us know that the crew will be coming as scheduled.Ramush and his crew were very professional and clean. They worked very hard for 5 days to complete the refurbished deck and it came out fantastic! Better than we anticipated. Ramush always politely answered any questions that I had during construction and he never came to me looking for extra money for the typical “unforeseen” problems. I had my roof power washed, as I am in a very shady location. All of the moss was removed, and the gutters completely cleaned. The crew arrived on time and did a thorough and complete cleaning. I highly recommend Sunrise.

The most HONEST company, business I have ever had work.There was an overcharge of which I was unawate. SUNRISE CALLED ME to tell me about it. They emailed a copy of the certified check. Unheard of in 2021..... Quality of work great, reasonable costs, congenial stuff. Service (phone calls) to and from Sunrise superb!

Used them to replace a chimney flue first. Liked their work so I hired them to replace my entire roof ply and all. Three years later there were some minor issues like flashing peeling a little and an edge that had curled a bit. Emailed them and they came out and fixed everything. If they will stand by their work then they are a good company.

We got an original quote for $18,000 for a new roof and chimney, but on the day of installation wound up being charged $38,000 for new skylights I didnt want that had casings in the wrong color. Still not happy with how they look. They left nails all over the property; my son stepped on one that went right through the bottom of his sneaker and pierced his foot. One of the workmen also defected behind my shed. The paint on the wood siding in front of my house is all scraped up. I have no idea if there is insulation now under the new roof: I guess I will find out when I freeze this winter. They left the front room where the new skylights went a horrible mess with the rotted wood left in place. We will NEVER use this company again!!

I chose Sunrise because they are a family run company and I like to use local businesses as opposed to large contractors. They did excellent work.We did run into some problems with our job but in the end, Sunrise bent over backwards to make sure everything was right. That is very rare in todays world and I applaud them for that. You really have to respect a company that pays attention to the customer.Before the work, we had an actively leaking roof and in the last storm all was dry. We are delighted.

Sunrise Roofing is top notch. I got many estimates for a flat roof and a second story deck with a staircase and Sunrise Roofing was the least expensive, most professional and the only company that gave me a written estimate the same day. My village is extremely strict when it comes to permits and inspections, but Sunrise Roofing was accommodating and made the process as seamless as possible. They ended up having to work more days than expected due to delays with my inspector, and didn’t give me any problems with that. Sheffield and his workers are amazing. They are all very knowledgeable and hard working. Sheffield’s brother Ramos was one of the workers and also ran the crew. I couldn’t be happier with my roof and new deck. After choosing Sunrise Roofing based on their Google reviews, Eddie came to my home to give me an estimate. He was very professional and courteous and have me an estimate after he explained everything and addressed my questions and concerns. I was in contact with the office a couple of times and spoke to Lisa and she was so extremely helpful and accommodating. Tracy in the office was very nice as well. They completed the job to my satisfaction and then some. I would absolutely recommend this business to anyone looking for a new or replacement roof!

I got an estimate but have been trying unsuccessfully to make an appointment and get the service done. I was told that a deposit was needed to make an appointment however the person can only come by within a 2 hr period during the day and they dont have steady office hours for me to stop by to make a deposit. Unbelievable!Update:I was contacted by the office, the young lady explained what the issue had been and offered an apology. She was very helpful in getting me set up for my upcoming appointment.

In response to Sunrise, more lies response, first of all, any company that has to write so much, you know they are defensive.1. I never told anyone they were dirty, I have white painted floors and ALL workman who come in OFFER to take their shoes off. I was incredibly polite to him. I never told him he scammed me. I told you. And of course, you failed to address that little fact-- that he asked me for $250 in CASH. I was told fireplace cleaning was $100-150 on the phone. So another contradiction your story.I never asked for anyone to come for a FREE ESTIMATE (which is standard for all) I asked someone to come to clean my chimney. Tommy told me he wasnt going to clean it. And the other huge lie is someone called me over and over. NO ONE CALLED ME--I CALLED YOUR office to find out the status of when someone was coming. There are more lies in your response. its great that you can get people to give 5 stars. I am happy for you-- I just hope when someone asks them for CASH-- they are smart enough to know that they are being ripped off. Best of luck with your business. We live close to the water in Massapequa and during the winter it tends to get colder near the water. I been having problems with my chimney since last year and need it replaced. Our neighbor recommended Sunrise Roofing & Chimney and it was the best investment I made. They’re reasonably priced and my chimney looks amazing. I can sleep easy this winter knowing my chimney will keep us warm.

I have used Sunrise roofing now for several projects and we’ve been satisfied each time! They are thorough and priced fairly. Most recently when they replaced the trim around our garage door, they re-installed the old existing key lock on the trim and we only wanted the new keypad...Sheffield had his guys come the next day to fix it. Lies lies lies. Something really wrong with this guy Sheffield. he sent a guy named Tommy over who tried to scam me for $250 in cash for a chimney cleaning!! I said no, so he dropped it to $200. Then to the real price of $150. but then he left and said someone else would come. No one came. Cant get calls back. Dump this company. I called a few companies for a quote and when they showed up i felt rushed by some and most where very pushy to have me give them this new roof replaced job and even one guy even tried to have me sign a contract with them the same day after giving me a high price then saying sign now and ill take off a couple of thousand dollars. that was the first sign that this was going to be hard to trust anyone now and to be honest i kind of felt like giving up. then i saw this roofing company truck at the local gas station in shirley and i asked this guy if he would give me a price on my roof, he told no problem and the next day he came by. he looked at the roof, spoke respectful without the bull and gave me a great price. i thought this guy has to be using cheap materials to give me this quote. then i asked him what materials he would be using and i did some research and i was shocked. he was doing this job for such a great price. so i gave him the job.when the crew came and i saw how professional they were working and how clean and fast they worked, and respectful as well i was happy. when the roof was done it looked so good. i would recommend sunrise roofing to anyone especially if youve been giving crazy quotes. these guys are fair, honest and clean and my roof looks like the best one on my block.

Sunrise Roofing and Chimney is by far the best group of guys I ever met. I had an emergency last week and was in desperate need of a roof repair. Ive heard of Sunrise Roofing and Chimney through friends and needed to call them right away. I had such a bad roof leak that it kept getting worse and worse. My wife and I were really happy that they take emergency calls and are available 24 hours.They came out right away and inspected my roof and found the leak. The owner Shefit was able to get his crew to come out me the very next day and work on it. All said and done everything turned out good and they repaired my roof. I definitely recommend these guys and WILL use them again in the future If I need more repairs.

Sunrise did a fantastic job. They showed up on time and worked quickly and efficiently. They even took pictures and video of the work they did on the roof. They also explained the workings of our new attic fan and its warranty. I would definitely recommend them.

I couldnt be more impressed by the professionalism, the competence, efficiency, and evident pride taken in ensuring a job well done that was displayed by the gentleman who arrived to repair a leak around a plumbing vent on the roof (and as a bonus even cleaned the gutters). While on the roof he also noticed a serious crack in the chimney and damaged and sloppily installed flashing, which he photographed and brought to my attention, problems that another chimney service had recently failed to spot. Arrangements were immediately made to make the necessary repairs, which, judging from photographic documentation of previous such work by Sunrise, promises not only to correct these problems but to result in a dramatic aesthetic improvement (follow-up to come). The charge for these services appears to be very reasonable for this area. Based on my experience so far, I wouldnt consider taking my business anywhere else, and would wholeheartedly recommend Sunrise.

Great company! Professional, timely and accommodating. Explained options and everything they could do for us with if we chose - they weren’t pushy or rushed like a lot of other companies seem to be. My mother first used them last month for a roof repair on her house in Sag Harbor, was very happy with their service, and recommended them to me for my chimney. It hadn’t been used for over 20 years, and I wanted to trust that the company would make sure it was safe, but not take advantage and tell me I needed new everything - I called that evening and they were able to come the next day for the estimate. They cleaned the chimney, put in a new damper and I was able to have a wonderful fire - all in less than 24 hours from the first call! I’ve had fires almost every night this week (perfect timing to be cuddled by a fire with these cold nights:) And I’m so happy to be able to use our beautiful fireplace knowing that it is safe. My experience with Sunrise Roof and Chimney has been exemplary. Ive had dealings with other contract workers before, and most of them have been nightmares. Sunrise Roof and Chimney - These guys are a group of friendly professionals that actually know what they are doing.I initially hired them to do one skylight to see what I was getting myself into. I was so impressed that I ended up doing 3 more skylights and other roof and gutter jobs because of the quality of their work. Their work is aesthetically immaculate both inside and out. I wish I had found out about this company years ago.

We had some roof tiles come loose on our house. We called 1 company and they said we needed a new roof and would not fix our immediate problem. We called Sunrise and Shefild promptly showed up .While he said we needed a new roof, he replaced our missing roof tiles to temporarily fix the problem until we could save enough for a new roof. Shefield was polite,courteous,very knowledgeable and a very nice guy to talk to. I highly recommend him for any roofing problems.

We just had a home service call to inspect our fireplace and chimney on a Saturday during a snow storm. They called prior to arrival and let us know they were within 5-10 minutes of our home. Sheffield arrived and explained everything within detail of what he was checking for and was very courteous to clean his shoes before walking through the house. I called for my leaking roof, which was neglected for years by the previous owners of my home. Sheffield came that day for an estimate and advised me to replace the roof since it was in very bad shape. I must admit I never felt pressured though. He worked with me on price and I had such a good feeling that he would do the right thing, I had him reline my chimney that runs to my boiler (another neglected matter). All was done in one day and the clean up was impeccable. Very courteous and professional crew. I will be calling them back to roof my garage when the time comes.

These guys are not only incredibly good at what they do, but are somewhat unusual in this day and age, in that they are honest and tried so hard to SAVE me as much money as they could. Tom cam to my residence because of a progressively expanding roof leak which I was quite worried about. Without even pointing out the area of the issue, Tom eyeballed the roofs exterior and noticed a deis-symmetry in structure. to my surprise, he hit actually hit the nail on the head! I was quite impressed with his accuracy and his professional nature as he went about assessing and re-assessing what needed to be done.I explained that I had already had several estimates. We just received an estimate from the technician at Sunrise Roofing. The company had done a repair at my Moms home. She was very happy with their work, so after meeting them at my Moms we decided to give them a call for a free estimate. They came on time, even called 15 min prior to arriving. They checked quite a few issues that needed to be addressed including, leaking skylights, gutters with holes, squirrels coming in through our roof, etc. After shopping around they were hands down the best, fairest price. We gave them a deposit and hired them on the spot. They should be doing the work in a couple of weeks.
