We have a wood burning stove that had not been cleaned in years and we have a fireplace that we use occasionally that we were not sure if it also needed cleaning. So, based on the positive reviews I called Lucky Chimney and spoke with Joseph about setting up a cleaning.From the first minute on the phone, to setting up an appointment, to completion of the job, Joseph was friendly, professional, helpful, and honest. On the day of the cleaning, Joseph arrived early and patiently explained everything he was going to do step by step. He inspected both our fireplace and our wood burning stove and explained that the fireplace looked good and did not need an inspection. He could have very easily told me otherwise and charged me for something I did not need and I would not have known it. He then started to clean the stove. He covered our floors and everything around the stove with clean tarps. He took his time and really got in there and cleaned everything. He then went up on the roof and cleaned and inspected everything else. Afterwards he showed me the amount of build-up that came out of the pipes. I could not believe how bad it was. He even cleaned the inside and the glass on our stove; it now looks like a new stove.We could not be happier with the service. Joseph is a true professional; honest, knowledgeable, polite, and friendly. He is a rarity in todays world. We will definitely have Lucky Chimney out every year to service our stove, fireplace, and dryer venting.Thank you Joseph!
