I have been to this spa many times alone and with my adult grandchildren. Every experience has been great. I took my 93 year old mother for the first time this week, and she had such a good time. The staff was gentle and so attentive, and treated her like a queen! She said it was one of her best times ever. I can’t wait to take her again!

My visit to Coco nails was the first and most definitely the last. It was horrific from the salon person cutting my daughters toe to mildew towels placed on our legs to long they turned cold so I had to remove them. I called out the smell of the towels only to have the technician tell me it was detergent from Kroger. WTH...mildew smell detergent! We both had appts.at the same time. My daugher was near done before they started on me. I just sat with my feet in cold water resetting the massage chair multiple times so it would continue. $81 later...never again.

She was a very nice lady and did my nails so well. They kept the place nice and sanitized after each customer. They even give a little massage when your nails are drying. Coco nails spa was very nice and affordable and all of the employees are so sweet. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for affordable, nice service. I am definitely coming back!

I went in with my daughter. She had a manicure with gel and was in for a fill. I decided to do something different and I’m so glad I did. My daughter was very happy with hers as was I. I don’t remember the name of who did hers but he was very kind. My nails look flawless. I’ve already received so many compliments on them. Olivia did my nails and she is wonderful. They also offer you a little snack and something to drink. Very nice people at this place. I’ll definitely be returning

First of all, I made an appointment online and I didn’t see anywhere saying that they didn’t do online appointments anymore so thank goodness I called to confirm my appointment a few hours beforehand. Then, when I got there, there was a few other ladies sitting at the tables waiting to get their nails done and one of the technicians was doing one of the lady’s nails. When I walked in saying I had an appointment, the technician completely stopped doing the woman’s nails and helped me because I had an appointment. She left the woman’s nails half done and the ladies ended up leaving. That seemed super unprofessional to me right off the bat! Then, my nails turned out lumpy and thin. Two days later they already feel like they’re either going to break or fall off in a few days. Not to mention, I felt like I paid a ridiculously high price for poor quality nails. Super disappointed and most definitely will not be returning.

I went here for the first time today. Everyone was really nice! I scheduled an appointment and was able to get a nice lady to do my nails. She told me what shape would suit my nails better and no one’s ever asked me that before. They ended up looking amazing! I got my eyebrows waxed as well and my eyebrows look so good now. I will definitely return again!

Called for an impromptu appointment: I was welcomed and sat right away. I decided to go a little wild w requesting stiletto nail tips w matte (Dip) finish & gel Pedicure. Everyone wore their masks and that meant a lot to me as a new patron.The messages were amazing w hot stones on my legs & a manual hand message on my back- really nice treat!Tim did my nails and he was very kind and personable- thank you!! Tried Coco a week ago. I cant speak for the other nail techs, but avoid the older lady. She drilled my gel off but didn’t stop when the gel was gone and kept drilling my nails down till they were paper thin, and now they are ripping off. Most of them are breaking at the free edge, but 2 ripped where its still attached to my finger, which bled and are very painful.

HOW AM I JUST NOW GOING HERE??! Yall, this place is great! I got dip powder on my natural nails and Tammy did an amazing job! The salon is clean, everyone is spaced out and they really take their time. Location is easy to get in and out and prices are reasonable.

Tim and Tammy sold the salon and it won’t be the same. Went in last Thursday for Dip and pedicure. Three hours later and less than a week later the top coats are peeling and already coming away from my real nails. I am all about giving second chances but not in this case. I used to be able to go 5-6 weeks. So disappointing

This nail salon is the best one I have ever been to. There is a lot to choose from, they always are getting new color and products. The service is fast but very though out. They are wonderful people and try their hardest to give you the best experience. I got my nails done and a design, the price point is good and it is very high quality. I highly recommend coming here if you want your nails done correctly and done well. The salon is clean and well kept. They have been taking precautions for the virus that has been taking place at the moment. They do not cut conners! Go to this salon!

I have been loyal to coco nails for a few months and without exaggeration, Im in love ! The staff is so patient and kind, making sure your 100% happy. They go out of their way to make you feel welcomed with a drank and snack. The colors are beautiful and Ive never had acrylic nails last so long and so strong! Highly recommended

Nice little place to get a pedicure. Kind staff, gave me water and snacks. I liked that it was kind of quiet because there wasnt a strong smell from the nail chemicals. Got busier towards the end of my visit and the smell increased, but ok. Will probably return!

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars! The salon was very clean and they had a lot of color options. Vivienne was the girl who did my dip powder nails, and they came out beautiful. She was very attentive to details, making sure she cleaned my cuticles thoroughly and she got every corner of the nails. Will be back.

Little known secrete, this place is cheaper than Ruby nails, not as busy so they dont rush you through the process. They do a wonderful job! My new favorite place!! Only downfall, they dont serve wine with their services.

I got a full set with matte black and a gold accent finger and the nail tech did an amazing job on my nails. My technician does an amazing job on my nails and is super friendly. My nails always look natural and last far longer than other full sets and fills Ive had before. I walked in on a Thursday morning, The girl who did my nails was so nice. She helped me pick out the color I like. The only thing I didnt like is the waiting time. However, Im the type of person who doesnt mind waiting for good service or good quality. Will be back !

Ive been going to this salon for a couple of years now and I love it here! The owner makes sure youre leaving her establishment satisfied! And she is the absolute best for eyebrow wax, I wont let anyone else but her touch mine! Bottom line, I love this nail salon and highly recommend it!

I came here for the first time today the lady who did my nails rushed through them,they dont look horrible but they could look better. The man doing the womans nails beside me was on his phone and even stopped to text in the middle of working on a client. The lady doing my nails kept rushing through what color I wanted and design never really talked or seemed interested in anything but getting my nails finished and me out the store.I dont recommend coming to this salon ever.Everyone was kind of rude honestly

The nail tech I had was super rude and rolled hers eyes when I didnt understand what she wanted me to do next. She also rushed through and for 25 I expected better. Took everything I had to bite my tongue. I could of painted my nails better and usually do!! Wont be going back there again!!

Never would I post something like this but others should know. Got a pedicure last Saturday. Woke up Sunday with my toe in extreme pain. I could not even walk on or put pressure on that foot. Finally after treating it with peroxide and betadine it started to feel a bit better. Needless to say it still was no 100 percent. Still very red and sore to the touch. A week later still hurts. Go to just take another look, and I see my toe deep in the crack of the nail is green. I poked at it with a needles and it is very infected. I have never experienced something like this from getting my nails done. Not sure what went wrong but tells me their utensils are not sanitary. And shellac manicure is gone after 2 days and my nails looked worse cuticle wise then before

This is a great nails spa in Mechanicsvile. The service was fantastic and my nails were perfect. It was a little bit hard to find a spot to to park but you can park in the Krogers parking lot next door. Ill be returning here .

This is the 4th salon that Ive been to & my 3rd fill since getting a set of acrylic nails with my daughter in July. Had a delightful experience. One of my nails had separated from the back & pulled off leaving a flimsy, sad looking natural nail. After reading reviews of the salons open on Sunday, I was resigned to waiting until Wednesday to get an appointment at salon #2 (no Sunday hours). Had lunch at Riverbound Cafe with my husband & Coco Nails happened to be next door & happened to be open so I gave them a try.Tammy did a lovely job. She straightened out the crooked nails remaining from salon #1 and smoothed the bumps left by #3. The new nail tip looked very natural without polish. Ill definitely be back.

I honestly feel like they could have done better. I asked for coffen shaped nails as short as they could possibly go. Nope she did what she wanted and kept them long (witch i dont do). She rushed through was kinda rude and my nails are a little oddly shaped. I also paid 5 extra dollars for a simple design that I could have done myself and looked better! Defiantly will not be going back.

Went in for deluxe pedicure with wife. Place was completely dead. Lady started on mine at 1052 and was finished at 1100 and rushed back to sit down on her phone. Wife’s wasn’t much better. Confronted her about the rush job and awful service and she argued with me for over 5 min. I refused to pay the $40 full price and she compromised for $25. I shouldn’t have paid anything. Will never go back again. Leaving 1 star because I can’t leave a 0.

I was warmly greeted as soon as i walked in. Took me right away. Explained what, how and why they were doing everything. I was asked several times if I wanted a refreshment. Calming and clean environment. They were very detailed oriented. He messed up twice and fixed it right away and also apologized. I will be going there from now on. I have gone to several on my side of town and have been very disappointed. They cost alittle more and are further away but well worth it. I dont usually tip.... I did today.

Rip offs. In their pamphlet for a gel powder fill in (what I got) said $20 they charged me thirty. My friend got regular nail polish and he said they were dry and they werent. I understand they took forever to do our nails (over an hour) and they where closing but you still need to do the job properly if your going to be a rip off. And this was their second chance at redemption from a previous bad experience. My friend and I know for sure we are definitely not EVER going back.

The service is excellent, the staff is very polite and friendly, they interact with you while they are working making sure you are comfortable and offer something to drink. Ive been going for a little over a year and was never disappointed.

Only 2 people working on the Friday before New Years. We have been here about an hour and only 1 out of the 3 of us has been serviced. When we walked in they immediately wrapped my friend’s nails and then didn’t acknowledge us for another 20min (only because I asked how many people were working and how long it would take). My mani is the one that’s done now and there’s still dirt under my nails & I need to file them so they don’t catch on my clothes. Also the red polish that they removed is all over my hands. Overall shoddy job that took way too long.

Dont waste your money. Quoted $30 manicure & pedicure total price over the phone and made appt. over a wk in advance. Walk in-only customer in the shop. She then told me that basic manicure and petticure was ok but, deluxe new skin was best product. I sprang for it since I was going to a big event. Price went up to $65 & had to pay $5 extra for wax on the manicure. Never had such a poor effort at doing either service in my life...no scrubbing, no real massage...just faked it by going through the motions! She acted as if touching my skin was repulsive. She didnt ask my preference for square or round nails and couldnt get rid of me fast enough. Then she asked for a tip! Again, I was the only customer in the store! Save your money people. Looks worse than my do it yourself job. Pathetic!

Sorry but this place fell short the last time I was there. I wont be back. After putting my feet in scalding water and it taking it 4 trys to get the temperature right. Then it only took 30 minutes to do a Mani/Peti! She didnt do much more than paint my nails and toenails. Sad because it use to be good. Even the file she used looked like it had been used on a lot of people 😑So I didnt say anything when she didnt trim the cuticle area.

Wasnt that great. I had a Groupon to go to this place, I have been there before for my eye brows and it was fine. However, this time I didnt have too great of an experience. The gentleman who did my nails yesterday was on his phone while doing my nails. My feet still have a lot of dead skin on them. I dont get colored nail polish on my nails and it literally did my finger nails in 5 minutes, didnt even put a clear coat on my nails. And the lady who waxed my eyebrows waxed them too much and did not keep my original shape, and now my eyebrows are super thin and I dont like them.

I had the worst experience there. I went for a pedicure and was offered waxing for my face. I agree and ended up with a nasty rash on my face. The 1st time I called and asked for a supervisor Natalie said she was the supervisor. I explained what happened. She did not offer an apology or anything just said to send pictures to her cellular phone and she would contact me. I sent the picture did not hear anything for 3 days. I called to say asked for a supervisor and Vivian answered. I explained what happened, and I stated that no one has apologized or even received a call back. Vivian then apologized and made it seem like it was my fault that I got the rash. I will never go back there again. I received the worst service. I remember when they 1st open, I received great service. I

I took my granddaughter and her friend for her birthday to get their very first acrylic sets, and I requested gel polish for the three of us. I paid the extra prices for no chip. We were all three very disappointed. Their acrylic sets did not fit properly, were uneven in lengths, and not filled in completely (these are teenage girls!). My gel polish began to come off after the first day. The manicurist ruined my natural nails by using the metal file machine on them and started to apply acrylic when I specifically​ requested and paid for gel polish on my natural nails. I had to ask, is that gel after she began to apply acrylic solution to my pinkie. I paid $120 for three botched jobs.

I have been going there on and off through the past 2 years. I was a regular and every time I went in I always wanted the same thing. Nothing major. The past few times I have been I got yelled at bc I didnt make an appt for the GroupOn and there was NO ONE in there. It was a struggle to get one of them to do my mani/pedi. The main girl that did it was talking about laughing to others that work their in a different language. Needless to say I walked out after giving them a $10 tip feeling like I wasnt appreciated until that $10 bill hit her hands. The last time I went I made an appt. I went in the day and the time and wouldnt ya know...they never wrote it down. I wasnt mad bc there was really no one there so I was taken immediately. The girl was on her phone 90% of the time and even stopped at one point so she could get a phone call. I sat in the chair waiting for at least 15 mins. Came back and apologized. I just sarcastically laughed in her face. Dont go in there on one of the days they have a special The mani/pedi is suppose to be $30.00....BS I walked out paying over $50...yep I didnt tip them. Beware if you go there. I have been cut numerous times bc they werent paying attention...their phones were more important. When you get your eyebrows done they dont ask any questions, they just go for it.
