Hanover Towing and Recovery came to tow my sons car when it had an issue with the front tire, rendering it un-drivable. They kept in constant contact with us to let us know when they would arrive. The driver that showed up was Kyle who pretty much knew what the issue was as soon as he looked at it. He was friendly and personable. I would definitely call them again. Id probably ask for Kyle again too because I just may have a mad crush on him. (Photo below is really just so you can see Kyle.)

Hanover Towing was incredible to work with. They went above and beyond in helping to tow my car to the shop. My car was stuck in a garage that was very difficult to maneuver with a standard tow truck. Many other companies showed up and decided they couldnt do anything. However, Hanover sent three of their employees to assist, each trying to get the car going. All three were great, but Kyle at Hanover Towing is simply the man. Within minutes of him arriving, my car was out the garage and on the way to the shop. Great tow company to work with! Thanks Hanover Towing.

Kylie is amazing!!! My car got stuck in a car wash after going off the rails and there was no way to get it out. It was stuck between a steel pole and the tires were I. The wrong side of the track. I was praying that I wouldn’t have “too much” damage to my car after the tow truck came. Kyle came in time, Was professional and knew exactly what to do. He was able to get my car out with some 4x4 and not a scratch on my car! He was amazing and can’t say enough great things about him. I am so thankful that he came!

I used Hanover Towing recently when my car failed to start. It was late at night and rainy but Kyle arrived very quickly and was incredibly helpful, professional, knowledgeable, and personable. He was able to determine the source of my problem and quickly & safely loaded my car onto the truck. He was also very accommodating of my need for an out of town tow/ride along. He even managed to arrive at my final tow destination early! The best towing experience I’ve ever had. Definitely use this company if you are ever in need of their services!

Horrible customer service the man on the phone was extremely rude and tried to argue with me over the fact that the pushed there arrival time back three separate times after waiting three hours I was to the point I ended up canceling my services with them. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. I wish I could give a review without adding a star because they are undeserving of even 1 star.

I was very pleased with not having to wait as long as the estimated time. T. S. arrived, ensured that I was safe & warm, attempted to jump my car but the car wouldnt hold a charge for long, instead of sending me on my way, he towed me home to ensure that I arrived home safe.

Towed my car to my apartment. Once there the driver tried to move my car into a space and dropped the car off of the truck jack and caused about $5,000 worth of damage. He then looks at me and says “your not going to make me pay for this right?” Called the next day to report it some guy named Kyle pretty much refused to help me. Told me he owns the company and there was nothing he could do. I kept asking to speak to a supervisor he would just repeat he is the supervisor and no one is above him and he has no clue who could be above him. I asked to speak to the owner and he told me there is no owner it’s a corporation even tho you can Google the name of the business and clearly see someone named Kelly Mann owns the company. I wouldn’t recommend using this company they don’t care about you or your property.

Hanover Towing is the service that my insurance uses. I was extremely fortunate to get Kyle to assist me with my car, which needed a jump and then a subsequent tow. I needed towing service through Geico for my vehicle which was disabled. From the beginning until the very end it was a seamless and wonderful experience. I saw the tow truck speeding up 95 easily doing 90 or 95 miles an hour weaving in and out of traffic. At one point he even cause a guy to Swerve into another Lane due to his erratic driving. Would never get a tow from them if theyre going to handle my vehicle like that.

Used them for lockout service with Geico. The technician was friendly and knowledgeable, however the dispatcher was simply deplorable. The service tech arrived almost two hours late and the dispatcher lied to me twice regarding the service time and also why the tech was late. People understand when honesty is used, but lying to a customer will get you a one star rating every time.

Had to get my car towed home from the shop so i could fix it, driver was very nice and helped park my car right where I wanted it at, only thing was i was told id get a call when they arrived but never did, instead they just showed up at my house after my dealership had given me a ride home but it was okay since i was already at the house waiting

It was a good experience my tire blew out on 360 in manaquin VA. They said they would be there in an hour or less. The driver came in an hour. He was polite, we joked and enagaged inGood conversation and he got me to my destination safely!Thanks Hanover Tire!

Took a long time to show up (about 80 minutes), but that can happen when things are busy. Any negative review I may have had in my mind disappeared when the driver, Milton, showed up all friendly and professional. He made my bad mood from being in an accident go away just by being so personable.

On Sunday night at approximately 9:00 PM I was driving on Porter Street and when I came to the intersection at 19th Street there as a Hanover tow truck stuck on Porter St.. I had to stop which caused me to get stuck. I talked to the driver and he told he had another driver coming to pull him out and when he was free he would pull me out. The second driver came and pulled him out. With his truck 15 feet from my car he refused. He said I should call Geico (not sure what that had to do with it) and they would send a tow truck I pleaded with him and he said Im not trying to be an A**hole but Im going home. As the driver on the first truck drove past I stopped him and reminded him of his promise he said sorry Im going home. Wow, this is so wrong on so many levels! I wish this site had a minus star. One star is way to generous for a company that would treat someone this way.

They somehow got the contract to the parking lot where I live. It was a preditory $120 tow. Do not let them in to your neighborhood.

I was given an ETA of one hour for the guy to get to me. After an hour and ten minutes, I called the dispatch lady and asked why nobody had gotten to me yet. She called the driver, who said that he would be another half hour. No one called me, or in any way let me know that they were going to be late. When the truck finally got to me, the driver (I didnt catch his name) tried to lecture me about how it was my own fault I broke down, and how much of a pain it was for him to take time out of his day to come to me. When I reminded him that its his job to come help broke-down fools like myself, his reply was Im just trying to make conversation, dude. If youre going to be an a**hole, then f**k you! The rest is kind of a blur, but it was mostly in the same vein. It was a completely unprofessional experience, start to finish. I dont expect Service With A Smile, but I do expect to not be cussed at by someone Im paying to assist me.

BY FAR THE WORSE SERVICE EVER!!!! I called to have my tire replaced on a loaner vehicle and the towing guy was extremely rude! he told me that GEICO(my employer btw) wouldnt pay for the service if I wasnt in my own car( COMPLETLY FALSE) AND HER CHARGED me and my husband $100.00 to change the tire and threatened to pull off if we didnt pay cash! while I was on the phone with GEICO and the rep told me to give him the phone and advise that the service would be covered he DECLINED saying its policy!!!!!!!! as if he gave a moment to even listen and was very argumentative the entire time, I asked for his superior and he gave me the number to an office that was closed. at this point we only paid because we were on a dark road with heavy traffic and needed to get home. this driver also told me that he would be closing out the work order because we paid cash but the rep that I spoke tome on the phone and overheard how much rude he was decided to give a courtesy CALL TO ADVISE ME THAT HE CLOSED THE ORDER OUT AS COMPLETED SO THAT HE WOULD GET PAID BY THE COMPANY FOR SERVICING MY CAR ON THE PLAN( not the one that I was actually in, NOT THE ONE THAT I WAS DRIVING SO NOT ONLY DID HE GET SOME EXTRA CASH IN HAND HE STILL CHARGED GEICO FOR WORK ON MY CAR!!!( DOUBLEDIPPING) needless to say KARMA is real and apparently that driver needed that $100.00 more than we did but you dont do people like that and dont reap what you sow.

I dont appreciate how my son who is autistic being verbally abused by a customer at lowes today. He is trying to make a living like everyone else. I dont appreciate it. If I could give it a 0 star I would he was told to go lay down somewhere like he was a dog. that if he didnt shut up he was going to tell his manager he came home from work crying.

I have very serious concerns about a towing company that employee drivers that are incapable of driving. This evening, at 6:30pm I was behind one of these tow drivers heading north on 95 then merging on to 64 west. The driver was literally all over the road, swerving in and out of the right lane, just barely missed hitting a car in the emregency lane, then almost hit one of the barriers on the 64 west by the park. Wow, really not setting a good precedent for this company and have some serious concerns regarding the safety of your drivers and other on the road. I’ve already reported this to the authorities.

The last 2 times my husband and I used Hanover towing, the guy was great and we got our issue resolved quick but today...yeah, different story. Since my insurance company Geico uses this company, they sent a guy out because my alternator was very weak. Car needed to be jumped so I could get me and my son home. Was told he would arrive in an hour but almost an hour and a half later, he finally shows up. No phone call to warn me of the delay and sitting in 95 degree heat didnt make me a happy customer but the worst part was when the guy got there. He was unbelievably rude towards me, telling me when I proceeded to pop my hood latch that If youre too lazy to get out and raise the hood, at least pop it open for me. How in the hell does he think he has the right to speak to a customer like that?! The next time I need a tow truck, if Geico refuses to send someone from a different company, I will pay for someone else myself. Im done with arrogant rude jerks like that guy.

I have never used them, however I witnessed the driver almost back into school children today not slowly I might add. Then he proceeded to be extremely rude in jerking his hands rudely, telling people to move out of his way. I will never use them, or recommend someone who drives like this.
