DONT use. They are not 24-7 like advertised. They were called by my insurance for towing. Expected wait time was 120 minutes. We waited over that time with no contact from anyone. Our insurance company couldn’t get a hold of them either. Only voicemail was set up. I left a voicemail and called several times for an update. Never heard from anyone.Insurance had to find me a new tow company.

Do NOT even waste your time or money with this company. This was the worst experience I have ever had! My roadside assistance contracted this company to come tow my vehicle 15 miles down the road. I called for a tow at 6pm finally got in touch with this company after waiting around for my car to be towed for 3 hours. They then told me it would be another 45 minutes before they even arrived at the location my car was located. I was already frustrated after waiting so long and continued to wait until about 11:30pm when I got a ride to where my car was STILL located and had not even been picked up. I tried calling this company several times with no answer. They marked my car as the tow was completed in attempt to be paid by my insurance but they never came out or even bothered to call and let me or the insurance know they were not going to come. My insurance called them back this morning and they said I had told them that the tow was marked completed when it was not- there excuse was they thought it was double dispatched. If that was the case they should have called to confirm or answered when I tried calling back several times.

I was told through my provider that this towing service would be here in 120 minutes. At the 2 hour and 30 min mark, I called for an update. No answer. I left a voice mail. I called again about 15 minutes later. No response. I writing this review at the 3 hour and 20 minute mark. I called my provider back and told them to find me another tow company. I have actually been stranded with my vehicle for about 4 hours + now.I think it would be common courtesy to update a customer on your status if they have been given a multi hour wait time. If you arent going to show, then let the customer and provider know.

ZERO STARS!!!! Don’t waste your time. Waited more than 4 hours for a tow and they never came. Didn’t even notify to let me know they were no longer coming. They barely answer the phone and the customer service was not up to par. Don’t recommend

My 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee broke down on my way back to work, Gene the tow truck driver came very quickly, and he was very professional and nothing but EXTREMELY kind. Tow hook up was great, and I was referred to the auto body shop to have my repairs fixed. Highly recommend 301 towing & recovery!

301 stranded my customer, I work as a nationwide roadside dispatcher they provided a 2-hour ETA for a tow with a customer stranded on the side of the interstate and when they were 30 minutes late from the original ETA they would have not even answer the phone. Do not use this company they are liars and will leave you stranded and couldnt care less what happens to you. Shameful cowards leaving a woman on the side of the interstate. If you notice this company only has either a 1-star rating or a 5-star rating with the review and thats because the five star ratings are just people that know the owner or people that work at this company theyre not real legitimate honest reviews it you will notice several reviews clearly State the same as I have here that they typically give a 2 hour ETA and leave you stranded so thats what you can expect with 301 Towing

I got a flare tire on the side of Hwy 95. USAA contracted with this company who never showed up after waiting 3 hours. USAA just told me 301 Towing cancelled without even calling me. After 90 mins 301 said they were around 30 mins behind, only to never show up. Horrible service and terrible communications, or lack thereof. So thanks to them I have been sitting on side of dark freeway with my pregnant daughter now waiting for another company.

Awesome service! I have used them several times! The driver is one of the most respectful drivers in this industry! I know they have a couple drivers, but if you ever get Gene, you’re in excellent hands! Great customer service, took great care of my car, and was reasonably price! Thank you for all of your help!

These guys are the best towing company in the area. They were friendly, personable, and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

They canceled my tow without notice leaving me sitting by the road for 2 hours

Do not use 301 towing. We called them to tow my stranded teenaged son while we were out of town. After 6 hours they still hadn’t shown up and they wouldnt answer our phone calls. We called Robinson’s towing and they came in 1/2 hour. So disappointed!!!!

Broke down on the side of the road around 10:30 at night. Called Allstate roadside assistance and they called out 301 towing and told us it would be 2 hr before they could be out (that is beyond ridiculous in itself) After 2 hr, noone had shown up. Tried calling them ourselves multiple times, went to voicemail. Called Allstate roadside back and they tried calling, same thing...voicemail with no response. This company is a pure joke and nothing but a scam to get your money.

Awesome service very reasonable price. My daily beater broke down in New Kent the driver lives in my neighborhood (rolling advertising LoL) swung by my house to get the keys so I didnt have to go back out there. Huge thanks to yall Im a automotive mechanic and will definitely be using you in the future

Since they won’t let you write a review without a star - they got one, but I wish it could be negative.After waiting 2 hours for this horror show company, the canceled the dispatch and I sat for 5 hours while Progressive tried to find someone else to tow my car.When in need, this is the last place to try.Customer service is more than dead, they buried it under the trash heap that is their business.

They deserve NO stars considering we asked them to pick up our car and tow it to our home they stated it would be 100 and they never picked up the car the car had to be gone by tonight thanks a lot
