I was in this location yesterday afternoon Saturday, 22 May about 3 o’clock. The technician that came and greeted me at my car was polite. I asked for an oil change and a tire rotation. His response was that they were shorthanded and they could not do my tire rotation. I said fine and was escorted inside. Another technician came in and asked me if I wanted the same oil used as previously and I said yes he said great will have you out of here in 10 minutes. I was checked out at 3:22. When the technician pulled my car out of the bay he squealed the tires. When I got in the car it was then that I realized that no one had vacuumed inside nothing else seems to have been checked or touched. I’m really hoping they really change the oil. I was also amazed that the labor fee for my 10 minutes was 3499.My total bill came to $108 and I got none of the extra check off points that are supposed to be checked off. When I called today to see if they were taking some sort of special Covid measures and not doing all of their checklist I was told no they did everything. I have use this location for over the past 12 years and have never been this dissatisfied.

After driving on 295 and getting a rock to the windshield i started to look up places to get a quick seal so it wouldn’t spread, jiffy lube came up and i have had terrible experiences in the past. Drove over and was greeted by the manager and explained what i was looking for it was a big hit and had already spread about 2 inches in 10 minutes, he stated it was larger than he would like but would give it his best to see what he could do. 30 minutes later it looks fantastic and I’m so relieved, after explaining my past experiences he stated that the location i was previously going to was a different franchise. Mechanicsville jiffy lube is legit. Thanks David.

They took me right away and we’re very polite! It was towards the end of the day but they got me in and out so fast. They were also very informative about what kind of oil changes I could get and what they would recommend. I tried calling Walmart for an oil change down the road and no one even answered the phone. Jiffy line answered right away and told me to come on in.

Awesome service, but everytime I go the manager has to go get my oil filter from local auto parts store. Please stock a oil filter for a 2008 f450 !!Manager has asked warehouse to stock them but to no avail. Still great service just extra 30 minutes for retrieving filter.

Quick oil change only, so not much to tell. They need a drink machine with soda/juices. They do provide water and coffee free but, coffee at 5pm not desired.

I had never been to jiffy ever in my time of owning my new used car. I went in and told one of the mechanics that I wanted a standard oil change. He brought me to the waiting room and the other employee that was greeting and ringing up other guest never spoke to me or asked me my information. So long story short I got a 74$ oil change because I got home and realized my receipt had another persons name. I don’t understand how this happened and I’m very disappointed in the service. Especially since when the mechanic walked me to my car another mechanic voiced he didn’t wipe my windows. I’m just disappointed..

Love this place! All the workers are so easy to talk to and care about your vehicles. Always willing to answer questions and take time to make sure you are happy.

The team at Mechanicsville Jiffy Lube is excellent. They are quick, polite, and thorough. Although it’s a bit pricey, I would rather go here because I feel that they provide the same, safe care each and every time. The free WiFi, coffee, fluid toppers, and vacuuming is a another plus. Oil changes are always a breeze at this jiffy lube. Every one is so nice and I feel confident in there work. The manager is super nice, explains everything and truly cares.

This is a decent place to get your oil changed, but you definitely need to keep your guard up. They generally give fairly quick service and do a decent job. However, they will try to get you to perform services that you do not need. Thats pretty much their business model, and its true and virtually all of their locations. As long as you are comfortable telling them no to the extra services that they will tell you that you need, youll get the oil change that you want, done fairly quickly and done well, and at a fair price. They send coupons regularly by email and you can also do a quick Google search to find coupons if you dont have one. And, of course, you need to check behind them by checking your oil a day or two after you have it changed. They generally have fairly inexperienced techs doing the work, so mistakes happen more than you would expect. I personally have never had an issue, but if you look on the internet youll see that people regularly have motor issues after getting their oil changed at the quick change places, whether it be this brand or their competitors. The cause is usually not replacing the drain plug well, which causes engine damage when the vehicle gets low on oil. Simply checking your oil level the next day or the second day after your oil change will protect you against that.

I had an amazing experience. I got there as soon as they opened & my oil change was done in like 30 minutes. The guys seemed nice enough BUT the manager was fiery yelling at the guys directly in their faces. NOT cool! Other then that awesome. S/O to the guy Jay!

Great experience. It’s been quite a few years since I went to a Jiffy Lube, but I was out of town for the holidays, and realized that I needed an oil change. Jiffy Lube was basically across the street, so stopped in. Crew there couldn’t have been more pleasant and helpful. Went through all the checks, double checked my choice of synthetic oil, vacuumed my car and gave me some advice on topping up my brake fluid. No pushy up sell. Just a really good job. Nice going guys, keep up the good work. I’ll be looking for a Jiffy Lube for future cat maintenance when I get home.

Oil change went well I think, but the other services left a lot to be desired. My windshield wasnt cleaned at all, I doubt that the interior was vacuumed and I had to fill the reservoir for my windshield washer fluid as that wasnt topped off either. This is not the first time that this has happened at this Jiffy Lube location.

Thanks for good and friendly service and coffee. Was a little disappointed you wouldnt price match a competitor and give me a tire rotation for $20 instead of $28. Guy who helped us talked way to fast. Hard to understand when you jabber like an auctioneer.

The team was very efficient and thorough. The only thing I didnt like was repetitive question about additional Services.

The entire team displayed a caring concern that everything was correct and to my satisfaction. In and out quickly, I felt like they wanted my business now and in the future.

Kendrick was extremely polite and extremely knowledgeable about the services he was performing on my car. He explained the wear and tear...the good news, the be aware of check next time findings, and the this is really due for a change news. He explained about how worn my tires were, and got the message across clearly that it was dangerous to be riding on them much longer before a blowout. I took his message to heart and went to a tire store. They confirmed the findings. If it wasnt for Kendrick I would have delayed the proper care of my car till too late! Always a good experience here, yes I would like to pay less but they do sooo much more than just oil, they clean your windows, vacuum car and do a great job at everything. I have also had my tires rotated in the past and they point out other items that could become issues and they have been great at explaining everything!

Went Saturday and my Vehicles oil changes and the entire staff at this location is great. I like the way Dave explained the recommendations for your Vehicle most people don’t know so i really likes that at the end he was very professional as was the entire team at Jiffy Lube.

Went in for an oil change, got checked in super fast and was helped inside by a very nice young man named John Paul, he provided me with excellent service, was very knowledgeable in this work, and made everything a breeze! Because of his customer service I will 100% be back at this location hoping to see him again. Will alwo be referring all my friends and family to this Jiffy Lube location!

The manager, tall white man and his poor math skills to a Military Veteran. Asked if they had a military discount and he said no to his employee. Employee said 10% and he said he could do me a favor and give me 5%. He then asked if I had a coupon and I told him I had a $10 off coupon. He said we would look at the difference between a 10% and a $10 off of 300 and I would get the better. They did not even attempt to do a % rate so guess what I got?? Poor people and math skills.Though the employees were awesome!!!!

I had an outstanding experience with this Jiffy Lube. Everyone was kind and professional. While performing an Oil change they informed me that the rivets that hold my skid guard in place were replaced with zip ties. I believe this was done by the last place that did my oil change and they never told me. Luckily there is an Advanced Auto Parts across the street. I found the pieces that I needed and they corrected the problem without any suggestion of extra cost. Even after making multiple trips to ensure I had the correct parts and amount that got right under my vehicle and ensured that I was good to go.

I do recommend this place, the guys so respectful and helpful. Really good service.

Beware. This place will go to any lengths to scam extra money out of you. They cross-threaded my drain plug and told me it would have to be replaced on the next oil change. In case you dont know this is a basic mechanical error that anyone with any automotive experience should not make. In 25 years of driving Ive never had to replace an oil drain plug. (besides this is only the second oil change since car left the dealer both at Jiffy Lube) This has happened at numerous other jiffy lubes so it must be part of their business model. Find a reputable local shop you can trust to do your work.

My experience was excellent. They did a great job and got me in and out quickly. I would highly recommend them.

The entire crew were very friendly, good eye contact, and talk to us as people, also like a customer, very professionally and appropriately. The physical upkeep of the inside of the building, and bathroom, and coffee / refreshment area, is very clean, and well kept up. They offer a wide variety of Keurig coffee pots. They also have a cold freshwater, drinking water 5 gallon dispenser they keep filled. They are not high-pressure salesman. I like looking at the overall picture of my vehicles with maintenance and manufacturer recommended maintenance, and they do a great job at that! This particular place, establishment, has serviced 3 of my main vehicles. A 1991 Toyota Corolla with 240,000 miles on it before it was retired, my 2000 Tacoma truck comma with 222000 miles that I currently use when I need a truck, and my 2008 Toyota Prius hybrid, with 262,000 miles, that I currently still use. To say Im a satisfied customer, is an understatement. It doesnt mean, that you dont do friendly check behind work as a vehicle, motor vehicle investment is a lot of money. Any intelligent, or thoughtful consumer, purchaser would do that.

Went there for a oil change. Slow service and the people didn’t even put back the under carriage cover. When I left it fell off and I had to go back and wait again to have it put back on. Don’t waste your time or money.

I bring my company vehicle in for normal oil changes and fluid top offs and they have always been very courteous and fast.

All went well. They are just to darn expensive for service and tire rotation. Will not use them again nor recommend them to any friends or acquaintances.

It’s always good to go there. When I first went there there was an older guy so professional. Now recently I go there, there are younger employees not such in Castumer experience don’t go 100% by the jiffy lube code. But they still do ok!

The customer service was great! Everybody was nice and knowledgeable, but the price was extremely high. Damn near $112 for a synthetic oil change! I got the same one at another JL location and it was 80 and you can go to Walmart and get one for like $50 (walmart tops off your fluids too)

First off. They WONT answer the phone! If you call the number it just hangs up. Then, they say they check things that they dont and try to get you to have services you dont need. Its very busy too. They say no appointment necessary but unless you have a lot of time, its going to be a wait.......

I’ve normally had a great experience at this location and in the pay I’d have given 5 starts.The manager has always been kind and thorough. I drive 30 minutes out of my way to go to this location because of the service in the past. However after yesterday I will not be returning. The team was led by a younger guy with initials on his shirt and he was more interested in laughing and playing than ensuring a quick and proper service was completed. He knew I was in a hurry and simply didn’t assist in that. Once I finally got into my car I noticed the hood latch was not fully locked, I got out and fought to open my hood while he just stood there looking at me. I explained to him that the hood wasn’t properly shut and he had something smart to say that he mumbled but you could tell by his body language he just didn’t care.

They were very friendly, quick and efficient!

Just dont like jiffy lube any more. They used to be about quick efficient oil changes. Now all they do is waste time trying to upsell you every service and part imaginable. Im done. Cant recommend them for any reason. You want a cheap oil change, go to walmart and shop while you wait. Need more service, take your care to someone reputable who you know and trust.

They broke my key for my ignition and try to blame it on me. Pulled up to the bay, rolled down my window and left the car running as per instructions. All that was needed was to pull into the bay, so why the key needed to be out of the ignition is puzzling. Key was not broken before arriving, but is now. Had to call my husband to get home. Then, they asked if we still wanted an oil change. You break my key and take no responsibility, wont pay to replace my key, and want to charge me full price for an oil change. No way.

So unprofessional as a manager ended up cussing out the employees right in front of me over an misunderstanding over the job that I wanted and it was just so degrading to the guys cussing them out like that right in front of the customers that were waiting in the lobby and over me so it put me in a really awkward situation to even wait there keep in mind there were 4 kids waiting two were mine ages 4 and 2 they gave me 20 dollars off but if I couldve left to go somewhere else I wouldve I just felt horrible that employees were treated like that over something I brought up as miscommunication
