Brad came out on time and was able to show me where the problem was. Told me they had to order the part. No problem. The following week they told me it would cost 450 dollars to fix my unit. The part was under warranty so I asked for a price break down and that’s when the trouble started. They could not break down the price for me. I asked for a discount and was told a supervisor would call me. 8 weeks later no one ever called. American service Corp fixed the problem for 150. Would not use again

Fixed my HVAC power issue (thermostat not getting power due to faulty float valve). It wasnt cheap (pretty sure HVAC never is), but no complaints on the service.

The team at BREMAC are outstanding. I absolutely recommend them! We have used them for 3 different HVAC installations across the 3+ years weve been in our house. Each installation has been handled professionally and the quality of the Bryant equipment was top notch. We had zero issues with the first system for our downstairs that they installed. We liked it so much we later had a second identical system installed to handle our upstairs. Both systems have been fantastic. Additionally, during the installation upstairs the technician installed a handful of new supply vents and corrected the air flows challenges we were having. Now, upstairs is just like downstairs - quiet and comfortable. Its fabulous. Our third unit is a mini-split to properly heat and cool the room over our garage. This performs really well and the installation was handled very professionally.As wise consumers we got competing bids for the services that BREMAC handled and each time they were priced even better than their competitors. We already had a great relationship with them and the pricing made it a complete no brainer.

I have used a few times and the service is fine but each time the cost has gone up and up. Last year for maintenance on 2 units the cost was $225 and 1 year later it was $350 which is way over the average cost for just annual maintenance and 1 1/2hrs max. At first I was told no charge with my agreement and so wanted to be honest and said I dont have one so he then came back with a $350 bill. When I called to inquire on such an increase was told they would TRY to get back to me same day and of course never heard back. I will not be using in the future as I think they just make up pricing as they go along and no longer worth it.

Bremac is always friendly and polite. Alex has been wonderful doing yearly maintence on my 90 year old father’s very old furnace. I really appreciate them keeping this furnace running and they know which parts need replacing and are honest with any repair. We will definitely continue to use them in future.

I really have had a totally positive experience replacing my split unit. My initial contact via email was so great and followed up with calls that won me over. Each interaction was well planned and not once did I feel as though I was taken for granted. Then, my partner who was involved with the installation raved over the technicians and stated how polite, professional the techs were and marveled that they were young men who are definitely impressive.

I recently purchased an older home and I was very concerned with the possibility of mold/debris in the duct work. Bremac came and did a thorough inspection. They explained what they saw and recommended the installation of an Air Knight that purifies the air coming from the HVAC unit. Not only does it clean any contaminates currently in the ductwork, but prevents any future contaminates from forming. The timing couldn’t be more perfect as we continue to find ourselves in this pandemic....the Air Knight also acts as a purifier that purifies the air and the surfaces in your home!! We had a new Bryant 2 1/2 ton Central Air system installed and i cannot say enough great things about Eric, the tech who did the installation. His work ethic and the quality of work he did was beyond excellent. He explained the system to both me and my husband and answered any questions that we had. He also had another gentleman helping the first day and I cannot recall his name but he was also very good and respectful. We have only had our heat pump for a week so the only thing I can say is that is is very quiet compared to the 32 year old system that i had.

We needed to replace an old Heat and AC system and called Bremac for a quote. Frank, the owner, dropped by and carefully inspected our situation and identified ways we could improve our efficiency as well as replace our system. He recommended increasing the size of our air return which was too small for our situation, and relocating a duct line to an area under-served with heat and ac. His price was much less than we anticipated. Installers were wonderful! Eric and Nathan were personable, professional, and respectful of the house in every way. They could not be better. The result is a new, high efficiency unit that is whisper quiet, comfortable all over the home, and I am sure that when I get the winter heating bills that I will be saving money to boot! His team, spearheaded by Tanner, was considerate of flooring (drop cloths covered the floors), polite and efficient. They removed a filthy oil furnace and replaced it with a top of the line system. Whatever temperature I have the thermostat set on, it remains that temp without any fluctuation. Love it! A shout out to Tanner who did a super job!

Brad came out on time, diagnosed the issue and had it fixed in less than an hour. Also provided additional info and recommended routine maintenance and answered all my questions. Called Mary who gave me info on the maintenance plans, which I am signing up for, and was also helpful. Great job by the team over there getting my AC running for my family and two doggos so we did not have to stay in a hot and humid house.

Im a new BREMAC customer, started with them in 2015 for a plumbing issue, and then had them servicing my 12 year old Carrier heat pump. After my latest system issue, I decided it was time to invest in a new Bryant heat pump instead of sinking more money into my old one. From getting an in-office quote from Ron (originally quoted in February) and a follow-up home visit (in September) to ensure the right system was being selected, to the installation by Nathan and his helper, all of it was handled very professionally. Frank and his team are top notch. My fan threw a bracket and tore a bunch of stuff up inside my indoor unit. Bremac had a guy out there quick, got the parts ordered, and even when the supplier messed up the shipment they offered window units for free to keep us cool until the part got there. These guys really know what they are doing and their service is amazing!

Bremac replaced our HVAC system, including duct work, and we have been very pleased. Recently, we decided to try running the fan only and didnt hear anything. We thought there was a problem, but a technician came out right away and, after checking, explained that the fan was on and the variable speed motor was very quiet. We were happy to hear that it was an operator problem rather than a thermostat operation problem:) We plan to sign up for the maintenance program next year and a technician will replace the filter and checkout the whole system.We recommend Bremac and Bryant as reliable and professional companies.

My wife and I were extremely pleased with the installation of our new gas furnace. Eric and Michael were professional, knowledgeable, and we enjoyed our interactions with them. Our old oil furnace was a beast to remove and due to the age of the old furnace, some new runs needed to be made for the new gas unit. They handled everything with ease and it was obvious how much knowledge they have. Ron, our sales person, was very thorough with what would need to be done in order to get the job done right and the timeline. From 2008 I was a customer. Even thought their service is over price. They were good until my ac was not cooling the house. After paying them hundreds of dollars a bunch of lies and signing tickets I didnt verify first to make sure what they told me is what they put on paper. The AC still didnt work. The last thing I was told is the unit was icing up in the Attic. Not true. The unit was condensing cause the water was draining out. What was wrong. The unit outside needed cleaning. That was it. It was dirty. It was cleaned coo$0.00. I will NEVER LET THEM NEAR MY HOUSE AGAIN. BUYER BEWARE

Our ac stopped working in June so we did a search on google and found Bremac. It was 89 degrees inside our home and unbearably hot and humid. I called the next morning and spoke to Leah, she was very helpful and told me someone would be out that afternoon. Mitch arrived and was very professional and got our unit up and working in no time. We are pleased with the service we received.

I was told at time of installation, less than a year ago, that the yearly maintenance would be about $85. After the maintenance was completed I was handed a bill for $265. Because I didnt get the original quote in writing its not valid. I will no longer be doing business with this company!****Frank called and discussed my concerns about the bill. He said the error code was incorrect and the unit was not in need of flushing. Of course no way to know that until you actually flush it. He did not charge me at all for this service. He did however, say that future flushings will be done at the $265 cost.

Bremac did an absolutely wonderful job of installing our generator. This was not a simple project, as it involved burying a 1,000 gallon propane tank in our fully landscaped front yard. They went to great lengths to ensure that none of our large trees would be damaged by the project, and even replaced the stepping stones in my garden when they were finished. They have also serviced our heat pumps since we moved into this house 27 years ago. I can recommend Bremac without hesitation.

I have had several good experiences with Bremac. Ron Feuerstein designed my system and carefully considered all options for the best system for an old home. He is a veteran in designing HVAC systems and I appreciate the time he devoted to my job. The technicians are top notch and have always been professional and respectful of my home. Originally I gave them a good rating in terms of the service that the individual came out and provided but I am now changing my rating and review since the bill was received. They charged $439 to change a shower faucet and to put in a few shut off valves. We even provided the faucet itself and the valves. We also found out when talking to someone about the bill that the $65 fee they charge for someone to come out is not absorbed back into the cost if they do the service for you like it is with most service companies of this type. Also we were told once we got the bill that it is a set fee for doing service of this type, which contradicted what the service guy said and seems to differ from what the bill says. We will not use this company again for any plumbing services. Way too expensive and things dont totally line up with what we were told along the line!!!

I have used Bremac for a number of HVAC repairs over the last two years after not being happy with my previous companies. Last year they replaced a fan motor and this year a cracked heat exchanger. They also perform my bi-annual maintenance.They are absolutely fantastic! They arrive when they say they will be there, they do not overcharge or sell you anything you dont need. And the staffs customer service is great. Mike and Everett in the office (as well as all the ladies answering the phone) are polite and always helpful. Lee and Alex have done work at my house and are incredibly professional. Lee is even my puppys new best friend!I cant say enough good things about Bremac and the people who work for them.

My AC unit stopped working and I reached out anywhere I could for quotes and help. While I cant speak to their service, since they are backed up currently, Bremac was the only one with the curtesy to call back and say they got my message but I probably didnt want to wait for them to free up. I spoke on the phone for a while and they answered all my questions - about what a reasonable quote would be, what I should be asking other companies, how HVAC systems work. This alone makes me want to reach out to them with my next house woe. Unfortunately we need AC asap, but I would wait for Bremac if I could!

STAY AWAY. Tech did not know how to open chimney damper and charged 175.00 to set in floor looking at ga logs. 1 hour later a friend came by and showed me how it opens. WHAT A JOKE

I have never left a bad review for a company before, especially a local business but after the service my husband and I received today I feel that there is no other choice. We have a service contract with Bremac. They have been coming out every 6 months for the past six years. This time around the technician Lee came out to service our unit. During this inspection he noted HEATING duct work needed to be repaired immediately and deemed it such an emergency as to put a lock on the unit. Now, we have this unit serviced twice a year. We received an inspection of the heating unit and duct work the previous year that said everything in the unit looked great. For it to be in such dire straights that a lock had to be put on the unit and for us to have had it inspected every six months for the last six years tells me one of two things. Either, the technicians that have come out previously were incompetent and put my family and I at unnecessary risk or BREMAC is trying to nickel and dime you for things that aren’t legitimate. My husband voiced these concerns to Everett, a supervisor, and Everett said because he hadn’t done any of inspections he couldn’t speak to the work being done. No apology, no sorry we may have missed something in the last six years of inspections, nothing to acknowledge that an error may have occurred. NOTHING. This is unacceptable, Everett. You manage a team of employees that interface with the customer and are the face of your business. If they are telling customers that things are fine and they aren’t then there is a problem. Conversely, if they are saying there is a problem and there isn’t, that is also an issue. You should have confidence in the work your team provides and clearly you do not if you are telling customers you cannot comment since you didn’t do the actual inspections. I assume you felt the problem was rectified by dropping the price from $150 to $115 to remove the lock from our unit, it doesn’t. I’m extremely disappointed in the customer service provided by BREMAC today and after you remove the lock on my unit Monday we will be taking our future business and service. ** in response to the owner’s response** thanks for not addressing this six years ago since safety is your top priority.

Had purchased a new compressor for my downstairs unit from another HVAC company and after having it just over a year it went out. The other company was not helpful at all. Called Bremac knowing that I would have to purchase a new system and they responded quickly. Checked out everything that could have contributed to my old unit failing. Gave me 3 options of new units to choose from and explained the benefits and features of each. Installation was terrific by 2 techs that were professional.

Last year I had Bremac replace the heating and cooling in my daughter’s house and I was so completely satisfied with the quality of the work that this spring I had Bremac replace my 18 year old heating and cooling system. Once again I am completely satisfied with the quality of the work. The Bremac installation team of Eric and Michael were considerate and diligent about their work and patient when answering my questions. The initial assessment for replacing my old system was done by Ron and he made several recommendations and promises for improvements over the old system that were all fulfilled by Eric and Michael. I am pleased with the open and frank discussion I had with Ron about options and costs during the initial assessment. My experience with both installations is that Bremac fulfills its promises and delivers quality work. Bremac has proven to be an honest and dependable company.

I recently call to have Bremac come over and look at my AC unit that had frozen up. It appears from talking with them that this is a common problem and can be remedied with a small charge of R22 Freon. I will say that that technician showed up and repaired the unit very quickly and for that I am thankful. My reasoning for a 2 star review is solely that Bremac charges $215 per pound for a product that others charge between $75 to $100 for. I wondered so I spoke to a wholesaler and was told that if you have the EPA licence I could purchase 30lbs for under $500. I dont mind any company up charging as they have a right to make a profit but I dont like getting ripped off and this feels a lot like gouging to me. At the rate Bremac charges for Freon 30 X $215 = $6450.Thats over 1000% profit :)
