I really like living here .The manager and maintenance crew are there to help whenever I need them . It is nice to have snow shoveled. I would recommend this place .

Ive been here over 5 years and Amherst is Heaven sent...Im a veteran that needed peace and quiet and beautiful garden type scenery and Amherst has superceded my expectations...giving 5 stars isnt enough so Im giving 10 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐...Management goes above and beyond, maintenance is great and that Lori lady is one of kind...she makes you feel like part of her family but she can be firm when needed...we need more people in the world like her

Unlike the 1st comment the manager is kind and concerned with each Tennant, she knows each by name. The maintenance staff is prompt and polite when dealing with issues. The property is older but kept up nicely. We have seen other 55 and older community living places. This is the nicest by far at this price point. I feel bad others have not had the same experience we have.

My mother in law been living there for many years. Apartment is old and need of some serious renovations! Unfortunately the only thing the complex owners are interested in is collecting a rent. They keep raising the prices but arent doing anything to make it more comfortable . Officially its a 2 bedroom, but the floor plan wouldnt allow it to be a second bedroom, it doesnt even have a window, unless you count the one into a living room! There is no central air, so it gets cozy in a summer
