My daughter hasnt cheered with Prestige yet but she currently does their tumbling program and LOVES it! The instructors are so good with her and have definitely helped her learn new things. I highly recommend them!
Granddaughter takes competitive cheer there. Great staff.
My daughter cheered for Prestige for a few years. Multiple sports and school activities led her to take a break to focus on other things. The time commitment was too difficult for her to manage her schedule with other things. The coaches were always open to discuss concerns by my daughter. They worked with her to have them resolved. She was 9-11 years old so making her feel comfortable was very important to us. They were appropriately tough on their athletes too ensure that they were dedicated to do and be their best. She was a flyer and that is something she cant get with sideline cheer. Competitions were always her favorite. Overall, my daughter had a great experience. As the anti-cheer mom it was tolerable for me LOL!
On my way home it took me around the wrong place instead of back pedaling and having me come get home the way I got there instead of taking me all around a place that I didnt need to go all around
I have been coached by the owners for almost 7 years and I cant speak highly enough of this program. The environment of Prestige Cheer Athletics is incredibly welcoming, motivating and loving. I often find myself staying after my classes or going to the gym when I have no where else to be just because I love being surrounded by these people. The coaches are invested in every athlete and ensure to get to know them individually as well as their family. This gym has a true and genuine family feel that makes everyone feel like they are a part of something special.
I absolutely love prestige!! I have been to and tumbled at other gyms and prestige is definitely my favorite. I have made so many friends since being at the gym and I am so thankful to have such wonderful coaches
Anonymous review: I would not recommend PCA. They treat their athletes horribly, except for the few they really like and put all their effort into. They play favorites. There is zero positive encouragement or constructive criticism, unless you’re a favorite. It’s all very negative. They even have favorite teams that they treat better than some others. The way they speak to their athletes is awful. Even making them feel bad right after stepping off the competition floor telling them everything they did wrong instead of praising them for what they did right! All of their teams are prep level teams with no opportunity for advancement. They teach incorrect technique for tumbling and stunting. They don’t even teach stunting technique as part of their class offerings. They just stick your kid in as a flyer or base in a routine and expect them to do it without any real training, even if you’re new. They change the routines so much after the choreographer comes that you pay for, and so many changes after each competition that it feels chaotic and unprepared. Competitions always feel unprepared and you just grit your teeth and hope your kid gets through it without falling or dropping someone. Kids miss practices all summer and all year with no consequences. Which is not ok for such a team driven sport. The owners are stretched far too thin with running the business and being the head coaches with no extra help. They’re stressed and it shows. Not enough staff/coaches and people running the business side of it for what they’re trying to accomplish. The communication between the coaches and the parents is very minimal and they keep parents in the dark about everything until the last minute. Like the recent decision to close their location in Mason to open a new bigger and better location in West Chester, move into Gym Nation temporarily for the summer while they take time to move the gym to the new location, then decide they won’t open a new location after all and will just stay at Gym Nation, and they wait to announce it at the end of summer. All after parents signed the contracts. Their attitude toward any issues or concerns a parent brings up is very childish and immature, and often falls on deaf ears. If you’re looking for a “just for fun” cheer gym then this place is perfect for you. If you’re looking for a gym that treats every athlete the same, with positivity and respect and encouragement, with more opportunity for growth for your athlete and having them learn correct technique which helps with safety and injury prevention, then look elsewhere.
Owners, coaches, athletes and parents are all like family! Love Prestige 🖤🖤
