Many Investors will not use Surety.It is the pinnacle of incompetence.The absolute worst Title Company ever in my experience.Use anyone else.

Terrible. Bought a house 9/1 and they didnt have the survey ready u tip day of settlement and there were problems. And now I am being billed for the sellers water bill balance and when I call and speak to Ms Turner she gives me a lecture. DO NOT USE THEM!!!

We purchased a home in late 2017 as a first time home buyer you would think that securing yourself with a title company and insurance would be sufficient. Forward to Jan 2019 we are making finally preparations yo move in since we had a few things to remodel . I am receiving estimated water bills befpew even moving in (I still have no meter). I qent to request my new meter that Surety supposedly stated they paid for and the county tells me I have to pay over $1,500 in estimated costs for 2018 because Surety never informed us that the water was still on from the street. Technically before selling us the home Surety was suppose to handle the prior year of closing dates costs. When I called them Mary Jane says how are we suppose to know the water was not shut off on thw street is that not their job to assure they have all possible issues resolved so the new home owner is aware. She acted as though she was oblivious to state regulations. Here I am 2 months prior to moving into a new home with a huge bill hanging over my head!

My family was with John DeSantis of Surety Title Company. He was very professional as well as being very accommodating. The personnel is always hard at work! No job is to small for this comoany. Christopher DeSantis, even took care of a spill that took place, by me, in the office, such a humble young man! Surety Title Company is at your service, always!
