I am honestly shocked at how lucky I got and just feel after my experience today with this dealership.I just so happened to be connected with Hilton over the phone when I had an inquiry regarding lease specials. Due to a recent job change, my faithful 2012 CRZ was no longer equipped to make my new and longer commute. After I explained my situation to Hilton, he assured me there were options for me and asked me to come in.I dont like buying cars. I dont typically like car dealerships. It takes all day and its incredibly stressful. Ive had more negative experiences than positive.With that being said, I cannot stress how smooth this process was for me. Hilton answered every single question I had (there were many) in great detail. He was accommodating, patient, and organized. After some back and forth on pricing, and with some helpful collaboration from the manager, they ended up getting me an incredible deal and exactly what I was looking for. The car is beautiful and just... Searching for a new car was overwhelming for me, considering I have been driving the same truck for over ten years. I reached out to several dealerships and several dealers responded, but I didnt like any of them, except one.This one particular dealer answered all of the my questions promptly and showed me options. I hesitated initially. Could it be this easy to have a new vehicle? I asked more questions, he responded to my answers. I lit his email up and he responded.My truck broke down so I was going to take an Uber to the dealership. This dealer told me that he could bring the vehicle to me to test drive. Get out! I thought. Let me think about it I told him. The next day I told him to bring the vehicle, he showed up to my residence to show me what I could be driving. This has to be the best experience Ive had purchasing a new car. I worked with Mike via email over the course of a week to get everything lined up, and he made sure the car was available when I showed up (I was out of town and couldnt get back on the day the car arrived). Once I got there, Mike was able to work with me and let me get a test drive in before handing me off to the finance department. There I worked with Oleg, and he explained all the options I had. Even though the dealership was busy, I never felt that I was being overlooked or forgotten. This is my second time buying a Mazda from the Jim Ellis group, and Im sure it wont be my last.
Came for an oil change, as I prefer to have all of my service performed at a dealer. This was my first time at this service department - my adviser, Eddie Goines, got me in and out quickly and with a smile. The waiting area was spacious and well-stocked. I appreciated having a large table on which to work. Ill definitely be asking for Eddie every 5,000 miles!

Disorganized place. Highly unprofessional managers with anger issues. Went to test drive a CX-5 and was assigned a sales person by the lady at the front desk. Sales person was great. Test drive went well. We were getting ready to sit down and discuss price when another sales person comes and grabs the key to the car saying he has a client wanting to test drive it also! Highly unusual to try and sell the car at the same time to 2 customers, don’t you think? So I am thinking this is a sales tactic, to pressure me into buying. We liked the car and were going to make a cash offer anyway so I wasn’t worried. Asked our sales guy to give us his best price so he went to talk to his manager and that’s when things got more weird. He came back saying the car is already sold to another buyer who has accepted the price at $300 less than list price. But he will sell it to us if we pay more. Again, very unusual. Like they were trying to start a bidding war or something. Anyway, when I asked questions about this “other buyer” the story wasn’t adding up. They had not driven the car, they were not at the store but yet, the car was “sold” to them. Not only that, upon overhearing my concern and comments, the manager Mr. Chris Chandler (I got his name from their website) comes at us out of nowhere and is very angry. He was furious that we did not trust their story and basically told us that he will not be selling us the car and that we can take our business elsewhere!! All because we were not ok with the highly unusual turn of events and were questioning the loopholes in their process? At this point even the sales guy was flabbergasted and wasn’t sure what was going on. We walked away from that place very frustrated. Only to get a call back from the sales guy the next day saying the “other buyer” backed out at the last minute and the car was still available. 😂 He was very apologetic for the previous evening’s events and offered me an additional discount. But no thanks! I am not giving my money to this unprofessional and disorganized place that mistreats their customers. I will find my car elsewhere. They need to look into some basic training for their managers on how to treat their customers. It’s because of experiences like these that people hate going to car dealerships.

I came to Jim Ellis looking to test drive and compare to other models to see what I liked the most. I’ve never been a fan of car dealerships because usually the salesmen are pushy and aggressive but this lot is a breath of fresh air. I ended up going with a different car but my experience here was the best I’ve had at a dealership. Zach Miller-Batson was my salesman and he was amazing - super laid back, helpful, never once was pushy and was a pleasure to work with. We also met with Brunno Nakamura the sales manager and he too was excellent and was helpful and never pushy either. If I choose to go with a Mazda on my next car, this is the lot I will definitely buy from.

As a person in sales I understand sales tactics and I respect it for the most part however its annoying to come in for simple oil change and walk out paying over $1000. Every time I visit it’s the same thing “we found a couple things” makes me want to look into trading back for my Toyota. I never had soo many extremely costly “problems” found with any other of my cars. The staff is polite so no worries there…. However I would be polite too if I needed you to trust me to take your bill from $100 to $1000 with a smile 🧐just a reminder To go somewhere else going forward

I was made aware I had extra maintenance that needed to be done, a video was provided of my car and a thorough explanation was provided as to why. Since I would be at the dealership a little longer than expected, they offered a car service to the battery or anywhere in close proximity. Ive been a Jim Ellis customer for over 10 years. It started with getting my Millenia serviced. I enjoyed their team so much, I purchased two cars from them over the years. The new location and building is awesome.
The technicians was actually the first one to greet me publicly.The lounge area was nice and the staff was nice. This is my first time here since the Peachtree Industrial location is permanently close. The only thing I would comment (which is why only 3 star) was cleaning the interior of my car, which was not done, surprisingly. They washed the outside of the car, but the window wasnt completely clean, and looks like inside was not vacuumed at all. This is really surprising and I miss that from Peachtrees location.
Sales people, Jarod and Rick, were polite, not pushy, knowledgeable. The lady who handled financing was also pleasant. So far my wife and I are very pleased with the vehicle.

Im a happy puppy! After researching dealers/cars/brands online I decided on a 21 Mazda CX-5 from here. Mailed them, told them exactly what I wanted and asked for an out-the door, bottom-line all fees price. Thats when I found out the entry CX-5s were selling before they even hit the dealer. Got a very good price on the Touring in the color I wanted, drove up on the weekend to pick her up. Ivan was my sales rep and I must commend him for his thoroughness in explaining all the features, his honesty about price, and his overall courtesy and professionalism from start to finish!
Came in today to get an oil change and tire rotation. Made an appointment at 3:30 and was not given an ETA upon arrival. After 2 hours had passed I went to check on my car and was told I was already told the ETA and that their computer system was down ( I was not) and told it would be another 40 minutes by the condescending service manager playing on his phone.This was my first and last time here. Im driving further back out to the Roswell location who has a great track record of getting me in and out under an hour.

Love my new car. Sales person was respectful and offered options and choices between used and new cars. Even though financing process is a pain, it went fairly quickly, relatively speaking. This is my second Mazda so I was pretty familiar with the product.
I just want to say the service I received was really amazing. First the service department did everything they could possibly do to service my vehicle. My current vehicle was a 2015 X5. It was going to cost a lot to complete the repairs but instead of fixing the car the manager offered me the payout on my vehicle and I was able to purchase a new 2021 Mazda 3 beautiful 0% financing. This is my 2nd experience with a Mazda dealership under the Jim Ellis umbrella and they have both been excellent experiences. I recently totalled my car and needed a replacement as quickly as possible. Even knowing this, my sales rep (Brunno Nakamura) never pushed anything on me. He showed what I asked to see and didnt try to upsell me out of my price range. What really stands out was his willingness to pick me up from my apartment for test drives and to shuttle me to the dealership when I was ready to buy. The financial specialist, Hannah Parker, was thorough and concise when it came time to put pen to paper ensuring everything was covered and giving me plenty of time to ask any questions I had (there were none).Jim Ellis is the reason I am, for the foreseeable future, a loyal Mazda customer.

I cant say enough!! from Claudia B who helped book and assist with payment to Eddie G who treated my baby (Mazda CX-5 2017) like it was his own!! They were upfront with nothing extra added. You will get what needs to be done up front in writing before the work is done. Loaner car was awesome. I do recommend that you download the MY MAZDA app for any additional coupons they offer! It saved e about $50!
During this last visit I was charged for an issue with the screen, even after I was told it was covered under warranty. After that was taken care of, I got home to realized my replacement screen had been replaced incorrectly and I had to make another visit the next day. This was not the first time I have experienced a quality issues while getting my car serviced at this location. During a previous visit my engine air filter was left out and the encasing was left open. That day I also had to return to the service department, very inconvenient. The staff there is always kind and has always made things right. That is what has kept me going back but there seems to be no quality control and it’s been too much of an inconvenience for me lately. From having to wait extremely long previously to having minor issues prompting for a second trip. Needless to say I definitely do not recommend the Jim Ellis service department in Marietta.

I spoke with Doug, the Service manager, told him want I wanted done to my car, it was quite an extensive list, but he got everything ordered and we set up an appointment, on a Saturday, which is the only day I could come in. Their top notch mechanics did a thorough inspection and found Major issues that were crucial and needed to be done. I not talking about windshield wipers either. My car just turned over to 100,000 miles, so they gave me a list of of items that would cause Major headaches, if not taken care of immediately. I thought it over and decided to let the professionals do what they do best. Best decision I could have made. I bought the 2014 Mazda 3 S Grand Touring hatchback with the 2.5 liter engine from the same dealership with a little less than 72,000 miles. It was originally sold from Jim Ellis Mazda when it was brand new. 1 owner had the car. Everything was in tip top shape on the day of purchase, but general maintenance was needed with the miles I had been putting on the car. They found things that were needing done, that I had no idea about. The car now drives and handles like it never did before. Its like driving on rails. I having to re learn how to drive my car, because it literally drives like a new car, no more over or under steer. They didnt try to sell me anything that I didnt need. I never took my past cars to have work done at the dealerships where I bought the cars, well that has changed from here on out. When more maintenance is needed on my investment, I wont hesitate to give Doug a call. He went above and beyond any service manager I have ever known. He kept updating me on the process continuously throughout the day, they even offered to drive me somewhere twice, if I wanted to go and get something to eat. I think the best part of my experience at the dealership was that each and every employee gave to me their time when I had a question. They literally stopped want they were doing to answer my questions with proven facts, not I think so responses. Just remember these guys are professionals. I was thoroughly impressed with how great of a job they all did and how they managed to get all the work I needed done in one day. Simply amazing!!!

Please don’t buy a Mazda!This dealer has some amazing sales people but unfortunately it seems they are just like every other dealer. This is the third Mazda we’ve had and our last. I’ve had the Mazda 3 for not even 2 years and all of a sudden my fuel injectors are leaking- actually only 2 are but they invoiced me for 4 without explaining why until I asked for a breakdown of cost. It’s incredibly disappointing that despite loyalty to the brand, a faulty part that they even admitted was not common, isn’t being covered by my power train warranty. $1600+ taxes and shop fees to replace 4 injectors on a not even 2 year vehicle is extremely disappointing. Unfortunately it seems the customer service and family atmosphere ends when you sign and drive out the lot.Please save your money!

Jim Ellis did a good job addressing the maintenance and repair issues I requested. We used the pickup service, which made the whole experience way more efficient since we didnt have to sit around the dealership all day. The shop labor rate seems reasonable. The service advisor was very communicative.They did recommend a few maintenance procedures (MAF sensor cleaning and intake valve cleaning) that are outside Mazdas standard maintenance plan that probably arent necessary for our 30,000 mile engine (from my experience as an amateur mechanic). I declined both services, but someone who doesnt know much about cars might end up overspending in this situation. If there isnt an error code, do your research before purchasing anything extra.
I cannot speak highly enough about my experience with this dealership. Chris Chandler, Roosevelt Standifer, and Todd Allen were so professional and helpful during the whole process of purchasing my MX-5. I prefer to negotiate through e-mail and everyone was great to work with. They even delivered the MX-5 to my home. The entire experience was pretty smooth with no hard sells or pressures for extras. Brian, technician in the service department, went above and beyond to make sure I would not be without a vehicle as my a.c. was being diagnosed. As often happens, as soon as I pulled into the service shop my a.c. was working fine, because of this I had 2 options, leave my car with them for a few days or keep drying it and try to record the issue somehow. I started back to work this week (crazy school bus driver lady) so unfortunately being without a car was not an option, but running the risk of my a.c. going out when its 95⁰+ outside and getting off of 115⁰ buses into an even hotter car sounded terrible. Brian let me take up his time trying to get my car to mess up again. After 40 minutes the faintest noise started and Brian leaped over tool boxes, oil receptacles and lifts to get back to me to hear the noise. Within seconds it was fully messing up and struggling to blow air. I returned to the lobby and within 45 minutes everything was fixed and taken care of and I was on my way getting blasted with ice cold air. Thank you to Ron the service advisor and again to Brian for the thorough service.

To be honest, I ended up at Jim Ellis Mazda Marietta after another Mazda dealership in the Metro Atlanta area left a sour taste in my mouth. My wife graciously received a Mazda 3 on her sixteenth birthday from her parents 10 years ago. It was time for an upgrade and so we had been on the hunt for a CX-9. Luckily, we found her dream car at Jim Ellis. And I have to say, Mike Fresquez is an absolute legend. He told us he has been at Jim Ellis Mazda for 16 years and it shows. He was all class and he did absolutely everything in his power to get us an unbelievable deal on a new CX-9. His communication, hospitality, knowledge of product, and general care for us the customers was unmatched. It will be hard to have a better car buying experience. Disappointed to say the least. If you’re expecting to negotiate prices, go elsewhere. Sales team was extremely condescending when I counter offered the sticker price, even though my intention was to offer on the low end and see where they could meet me, which is literally what everyone does when purchasing a vehicle. If you’re wondering, their only “compromise” was waiving the $700 dealer fee. (Yes, $700) and not decreasing the vehicle price by a single dollar, because their vehicles are a “fair price.” Every dealer says that, by the way.I proceeded to show them that I had the same vehicle on hold at CarMax, but it had 15k less mileage, was a more desirable color, and was the same price. The manager argued “at CarMax, you can’t negotiate.” To that I said: “Well apparently I can’t negotiate here either.”I walked out. 5 minutes later, I got a call from the director of pre-owned vehicles, who offered me some additional incentive (which was nice) but still not enough to remove the sour taste in my mouth. I am happy to not reach an agreement, but when it comes at the expense of degrading my wife and I, it is a sure way to earn a 1 star review.Would not recommend.
Took my sons Mazda in for oil change and 4 new tires. Everyone in the service department was helpful, nice and experienced. I was there at 7:30a and the car was finished at 10:30a. Great experience!!

SUPERB!! I recently used their valet service for my car’s oil change. A tech came and picked up my car at my home and took it to the dealership for service. Doug sent me a link with a video detailing what my car needed. He then called me & provided his recommendations. I was able to pay over the phone & the valet tech delivered my vehicle to my home. Recently I bought my Mazda from this dealership. The moment I walked in I was pleasantly surprised with the care they give the customers. Before I entered they made sure my temperature was normal, which made me feel very safe. Mike met me and took me for a test drive. He was very professional and thoroughly explained about the car we were about to test including a brief history of Mazda. He was unlike any other car salesman. Not one bit pushy and I felt I could trust his advise. He answered all my questions.When I left there I told him I would get back to him after testing a few other models and brands. During that interim period unlike others, he never hounded us with emails inquiring after our decision.We have always been Toyota customers. But I have to say the care and service they rendered supersedes any care we got from Toyota. I do not regret one bit for choosing Mazda. And I highly recommend this dealership because their care is exemplary!!
Mike was my sales representative at Jim Ellis and he was amazing. Im very busy and we engaged in 98 percent of the buying process online and over the phone. His attitude and willingness to help was stellar, not to forget he presented me with a gift as he handed me my keys. Mike created the Best car buying experience Ive had to date. Moreover, I was grateful that he scheduled my first maintenance as well. I will recommend Jim Ellis Mazda to friends and family, but I will insist that they seek out Mike. My wife and I came in expecting to buy a Honda CR-V, but after an excellent experience test driving the Mazda CX-5 and amazing customer experience provided by Ivan and team, we were sold on Mazda. A superior dealership experience to any Honda or Mazda dealer we dealt with and a great driving experience. They don’t beat around the bush with pricing schemes or force their loan option on you. Love the experience. Would highly recommend.
Maybe this review contradicts what the rest of them have stated in their reviews. The dealership is great and the salesmen know pretty good info around the cars. But I had a really weird experience.I liked one of their GT versions and had my Dad speak with them regarding it earlier today. The sales person mis-read his messages and stated the car at a specific price. Seeing the price was reasonable I decided to go in. Once I was inside and I told him I liked the car, he told me the quote he had shared was for another car and not the one which I was looking at. I tried increasing my offer by $1k and I said I was ready to leave if it doesnt work for him. He said he will talk to his manager, spent his own merry time doing so and came back and spoke RUDELY and stated we cant have a deal along with stating IT WAS MY MISTAKE for offering the number he stated on the text to my Dad. He also stated I tried to play him by making my Dad speak with him (while I was just busy at work) - the FIRST THING I TOLD HIM AFTER I SAW THE CAR WAS I HAD MY DAD SPEAK TO HIM EARLIER TODAY. He went from being a professional to a completely low-key person.Pretty bad experience and the only reason I went here was after seeing all the amazing reviews in Google. Wouldnt definitely recommend to first time car buyers.
Roosevelt was my salesman and he was very pleasant! He did not try to pressure me into buying a specific vehicle or even buying that day. He was very informative on the different features of the vehicle and differences between vehicle types. He was very patient when browsing the cars and made sure my aunt and I were comfortable as buying a car is a very lengthy process (he kept the coffee coming lol). I definitely recommend him and this dealership! The finance manager Oleg was very professional and insightful as well. Thanks again!!

I’ve never enjoyed the car-buying experience. I’m one of those “until the wheels fall off” type of consumers. And, well, the wheels didn’t literally fall off my previous vehicle, but it was totaled in an accident. Beyond that, I’ve found that salespeople tend to try to take advantage of women, usually by quoting outrageous prices and/or by being inflexible with those prices (both of which happened to me at different dealerships during this process).Feroze at Jim Ellis Mazda was the first salesperson I encountered who took me seriously and treated me with respect from the start. He pursued the sale without being pushy, calling to check in with me after my first visit to ask what he could do to earn my business.I’ve had two types of experiences with these kind of follow-up calls. I’ve had the kind of experience where you feel like you’re being stalked (including during this recent car search where one over-eager salesperson called me SEVEN times in one day). And I’ve had the kind of experience where you feel like the salesperson is trying to win you over but not going overboard (like Feroze).Anyway, at no other dealership did the sales manager and general manager find it worth their time to speak to me.At one dealership, a salesperson asked my credit score and then asked if I was sure / said it sounded pretty high. Well, I guess they’ll never know. Jim Ellis Mazda knows, because they earned my business.

I recently bought a Mazda6 from this dealer, the sales representative Damarius is very friendly and helpful. The pricing quote I got is also very reasonable and clear. The whole experience is professional and pleasant. I do think the manager is a bit impatient, but its a busy Saturday so I understand.

I was here for a wheel replacement. Ended up changing all 4 tires. Took me 3 visits in 3 days and still the vehicle is not right. Every time, they call me saying the vehicle is ready but the steering wheel is always off-center. This started after the alignment they’ve done. I don’t know why they won’t test drive the vehicle before calling me. The customer representative seems like he never really care until I come back with problems. The work was never complete. Waste of money for uber.Never gonna come here again. Never to any Mazda. 👎. Never buy a Mazda at all.

He clearly understands the products that he sells, clearly having accurate answers not only about the car we were looking at, but also previous years and generations of it.He also provides the right balance of helpfulness and low pressure, matching the desired amount interaction for the moment. I was in a hurry, so he made sure to highlight and tab the owners manual to indicate key things necessary to operate the car.Paul their Sales Manager was also very helpful, honest and courteous. I cannot highly recommend them enough. If you are looking for a Mazda you should really check these guys out.
