You cant go wrong with Marshalls Auto Service. Theyre very trustworthy and honest guys. I always go there and i know that they arent going to charge me for things i dont need. Once they fixed an issue for me for around a hundred dollars that Suntrup was going to charge me $1100 to do.

I grew up the son of a master technician. I do most of my own work on my cars but there are some things I just dont have the space or tools to do. When those jobs come up, I bring my car to Marshalls.Marshalls isnt fancy. It doesnt look like a spotless showroom, and theres a odor of smoke that is feels baked into the walls. And thats okay because the techs at Marshalls are honest, and do good work. They dont try to sell you stuff you dont need, and they dont try to gouge you when you show up in a pinch. If they cant do something, theyll tell you, and then theyll make a recommendation of where they would go in your shoes.They are one of those old-school gems that get the job done right, on time and under budget. And for that I can recommend them highly enough.

Father and son run this place since Maplewood had dinosaurs. They know their stuff. They know what they can do and how soon they can do it. If you want straight forward service, this is the place.

This place is old school but in a good way. Gary and his team provide outstanding service and are always honest about what my vehicle does/doesn’t need. I will not go anywhere else to get work done on my cars. They prioritize quality of service over speed. If you have to wait, walk over to the Living room coffee house (five minute walk).

Gary, David, and TJ are all fantastic to work with. I use them for both work fleet service for 8 Ford vans, and then for my personal vehicles. They have done all kinds of work for us from basic oil changes to ripping apart and replacing a manifold. I am sure Davids favorite was tearing apart my gas tank on a rusty suburban to replace the failed brake line that was above it. The pricing is good, service is even better. Be prepared to wait though as the word continues to spread and they do not have a downtime.

Gary comes across like a nice guy, but his bottom line is not customer service. My car was dropped off July 11. It was left in the street with the promise that it will be looked at within a week. Over two weeks later, it had not yet been pulled into the shop. After a month, August 13, he finally got the quote for an organization to make the payment for the car repair. The org made the payment today. He was aware that this would occur from the beginning, Im a very forward person. I got my car back, drove it home, September 5, to find a parking ticket in my car, dated July 23, that no one mentioned to me in all the times I called to check in. Now its more than doubled in cost and Gary is blaming me. Does that timeline seem like Im the responsible party for this ticket? Be wary of Gary.

These guys are great. All ladies seeking repairs will understand this...most of the time you go to a shop and they at least attempt to upsell if not swindle ya. These guys are very matter of fact and sincere. Not used car salesmen doing auto repairs. Highly recommend.

Best shop in town

I have used Marshalls since I lived around the corner from them fifteen years ago. I would never go anywhere else. The depth of knowledge, the customer service, the genuine honesty; there is no one who comes close to what I receive from Marshalls. I am greeted by name, I am told if there is a better place to get the work done, and I pay the best possible price. Quick friendly staff and cost effective repairs

Garry is a very honest and stand up guy. I took my car there after being told I need to have over 2k in repairs because of the tranny leaking everywhere. Had Garry take a look at it and he said I only have one leak and it would only be 1k to fix and that Included extra work that he’s doing for me as well.

What great place and the guys are wonderful people

I have used Marshalls for all of my basic automotive needs since 2014. They are knowledgeable and proficient and I have never felt like I was over charged. I would recommend Marshalls to anyone with an American automobile.
