Honestly, I was more put off by the treatment of a homeless lady that came to simply charge her phone. Then the lady proceeded to slam the door in my sisters face when she wanted to explain that the homeless lady meant no harm. Unprofessional and insensitive. There are nicer ways to escort someone off the property, in this day and age it’s simply not okay. I really suggest practicing more ethical and respectful approaches because it’s upsetting for customers to see as well

Al is awesome! Very friendly, personable and professional. As other reviewers have talked about negative experiences with other employees.... let me clear that up... There is only one Al!! Here works for himself and HE does a great job. He has gone out of his way to be of help to me thus far. Al is the best, believe me!. Best service in town, top rate mechanic, very skilled and fixes just what actually NEEDS to be fixed. Very fair prices, he has been my life saver over the years and now someone I consider my friend. Totally trust him and hes a bit of a car miracle worker. I would give 6 stars, if I could.

Al has been our family’s mechanic for over a decade, and he’s worked on over six different cars for us. He has always been honest about the condition of our vehicles and has directed Us to another mechanic when he was unable to fix a problem (VW specific issue). Al is a great mechanic!

Terrific experiences with Als Auto. I began bringing my very old car to Al in July of 2018 and hes been so helpful. He makes repairs in a timely manner and charges a fair price. When compared to other shops Ive used in the metro area over the past 15 years, hes the most competitively priced. He hasnt tried to up sell me on anything. Hes very skilled, too. My muffler detached at the front and he used his welding skills to reattach it - charging me for just a couple hours of labor, and it was ready the same day. In July I brought it in for an oil leak. He could have charged me $1500 for the fix (as quoted elsewhere), but first he cleaned up the oil and sealed the cover and asked me to take a couple of weeks to see if that worked first. Who does that? I will always bring my cars here. Please keep in mind that he is a one-man show - solely responsible for the diagnostic, maintenance and customer service.

My car battery was completely dead when we had that -50° weather and they were super helpful and even drove out to me to install the new battery and only charged me $30 for the service fee for coming out. When they were ringing me up, he told me he was going to look for a new battery supplier because his is getting too pricey and that they only make $5 on the batteries because he wants to help his customers. Most mechanics make like $40 off of a battery sale, so for them to take a hit like that shows they really care about their customers. If you need anything done to your car, bring it to Als, theyll get the job done and treat you right.

Al has been nothing but amazing to me and my mother, does GREAT work and he truly takes care of the people that come into his shop. His prices are unbeatable and he is a very skilled mechanic. I cant stress enough how great Al has been for me. Thanks Al!

Brought my truck to Al, because I was told by another shop the engine needed replacement. I brought it to Als from a referral from a friend. The truck got very poor mileage and was smoking out the tailpipeand the repairs would be over 3000.00.This was after the shop worked on it 3 times and spent over 500.00 and couldnt fix it.Al got me in and diagnosed the wiring problem to the trucks computercausing it give it to much fuel its been over a month and it runs great the mileage is back and I saved thousands having a qualified mechanic look at my truck thanks Al

OMG. This man is a complete and utter joke. I mean an absolute, utter, ridiculous JOKE. Oh man what a trip. Its really too bad he really turned out to be a disappointment. On the phone it was all peachy keen, however when he saw my vehicle or possibly me... well then it was a different story... Its really too bad we have people out there running businesses who treat people like crap. What a JERK. Sad.

You probably ended talking to the renter that was behind my shop and in the same building, Hes no longer there but he was telling people he worked for me to try and steal customers sorry, I have been at this location 26 years and take care of my customers
