This place’s vibe is something else. It emulates pop trends around the barber industry but there’s just something different about the vibe. I believe when a business has a good culture, that culture spills out onto the employees and those employees express that culture giving the essence and the vibe that makes a good experience great. Alma has been my barber for many years and I followed her to this place but this place is just a good establishment! I highly recommend it.

Been using them for over a year now. I love the booking online and reminders. Laryn is always careful and considerate of all my constant minor changes. She is always polite friendly and I have never had a haircut from her that wasn’t exactly how I asked. And the Garage is the only place (I could find at the time) that will wax my woolly baboon ears and nose! I usually get the “tune up” package. Recommend it.

The barber (former manager I believe)I normally saw was not longer at this location so I selected a barber at random. Ill not be going back. I arrived a few minutes early, and was told the Barber was just finishing up. She finished up a couple of minutes later then left her chair. I was asked a short while later if I needed help, I explained I was waiting for my appt and was told she should be out shortly. After about 15 minutes of her not returning and no indication from the staff what was going on, I left a note on their monitor saying I couldnt wait any longer and left.I dont mind waiting, I do mind being ignored.There may have been a very valid reason for her not returning and I would have had no problem waiting a bit more or have another barber give my haircut (they took a walk in while I waited so they werent busy) if they just would have communicated with me. To make matters worse there was no effort at recovery after they found my note.

Andrea is amazing!!! Literally I have been to so many shops and hands down Andrea is the best!!! Stop wasting your time and go see her.

I work out of state and havent found a place that is worth the money out there. The last barber place I went to before this one ended up cutting the top of my ear. Coming to this place and having Aubrey cut my hair was the best experience Ive had in a long while from a haircut place. Not only did she do a great job but also suggested some tip and tricks on how I can cut my mustache. Needless to say this place is legit and comfortable as well. Well worth it

Ive gotten my haircut here many times and have never had a complaint. Cant go wrong with any of the stylists. All the staff is nice and easy-going. Never had an issue and everyone is experienced. Highly recommend if you are in the Mansfield area.

Andrea, is who we have been following around Mansfield because shes just amazing and my Son wont let anyone else touch his hair except her ! So this is the location she landed at...so when I walked in for the first time I was blown away by how Clean and Professional they were ! Everyone had a great attitude, and everyone had on masks. I loved the Modern Updated scenery, and the prices are more than worth what you get for the service. Love it !

This was the first time getting my sons hair cut here, but the reviews were great and the photos they had showing their cuts looked great and the only reason I changed from our normal place is that this is much closer.I scheduled my son for an 11:30 appointment for the Mansfield location, which was confirmed via text message. We got there right on time and they couldnt find us in their system. I wasnt upset about this because a glitch in their system is not on them. They asked if we could wait in the car for 30 minutes and they could get us in. That was fine, and at 12:15 we were called and told they were ready.My son had his hair cut by Ely. I asked her to do an undercut and showed her a picture of what I was wanting. It was also essentially what he had but it was very grown out and needed trimmed up.When I say this was the most awkward appointment I have ever had for my son OR myself, I mean that. She did not say ONE WORD to my son other than look up, look down, etc. My son loves getting his haircut normally because he likes chatting but she didnt say one word to him or myself that was on a personal level. Eventually she asked me how he parts his hair normally and I had to explain to her that he doesnt part it, despite the fact that I had showed her a picture.When she was done she asked how it was and I did say fine (which is on me, I know) but I could already tell it was not but at that point I was trying not to be rude. When I was able to look closely, it was worse that I initially thought. The side she cut more on was not blended at all, and the other side looks like she might not have even cut it? The cut overall is completely lopsided and just looks so bad.I will say that I gave 2 stars ONLY because the other stylist seemed extremely nice and were all talking with their clients the whole time we were there and from what I could tell their cuts looked nice as well. I also want to give Ely the benefit of the doubt and hope that this was a one off situation where maybe she wasnt used to doing this cut, but the fact that she was so impersonal was really off putting and the overall experience was just not good. Also not happy that now I will have to pay somewhere else to fix his hair.

The Garage was absolutely fantastic. Ive been looking for a barbershop for a while and I stumbled upon them online. Appointments for me, my dad, and my boys were easy to make and the place was easy to find.The service was outstanding. All of our barbers paid great attention to detail, provided excellent cuts, and the added pampering (I suppose thats the right word for it) was very much appreciated. My boys looked great and my dad looked exceedingly handsome with his cut. We will definitely be back. I would certainly recommend them, they are worth every penny.

I had my haircut Friday 1/15/21 at The Garage by a young women whose name escapes me (no nameplate on the station) The stylist did the normal routine - cut shave and wash. After the wash she asked if I wanted my hair dried. I said no but then after heading home in the cold, I soon regretted that decision. They normally blow dry and style my hair.Everything seemed fine, but when I got home I noticed red marks on the left and right sides on my forehead area. She used clippers and a straight razor to clean me up. Occasionally I do have some slight redness after shaving so I figured it was no big deal. Four days later and now I have scabs and dark marks from the straight razor. I am completely dissatisfied.I called the Garage on Monday at 12:19 and Calista told me she would pass the message along to the manager, Vanessa, and that she would reach out to me. By 6p.m. I had not received a call back so I decided to make another call at 6:20 p.m. in an attempt to speak with Vanessa. The stylist that cut my hair answered the phone (dont recall her name) and told me Vanessa was using the restroom and would call me back. Here it is Tuesday and still no call.I made the calls in good faith to lodge a legitimate complaint. It seems with the lack of attention to my calls I may look at other options for a resolution. Perhaps filing a complaint with the state, and/or filing a suit in small claims court.

Okay so I want to say I’m not one for reviews but just had to give a good shoutout to Iesha the girl that did my haircut today. She was by far the best experience I’ve ever had when going to a barber or haircut place. From the beginning she made me feel super comfortable and was very welcoming and kept conversation going. She always had a smile and a good glow to her. She took her time was always polite and made sure I liked the trims. She washed my hair and cut it perfectly. I left feeling good and didn’t have to check my trims. I moved from Cali and couldn’t ever find a good place to go that made me feel good after I left like Iesha did. She said she just started and I hope she stays because I’ve already booked my next apt with her. Thank you and you hired a very good person and employee from the experience she made.

Had my hair cut here before. No complaints about the haircuts. I was 10 minutes late due to construction on Debbie Lane, wouldnt cut my hair, wanted me to reschedule for an hour later even though the place was empty. Late policy not listed and have never been informed of it, either.

They were busy but still took me as a walk-in. No tedious app login or ridiculous 3 hour waitlist...and during lunch too. Get there quick before the rest of Mansfield finds it. Oh and all the girls are beautiful...you know...if youre into that kinda thing.

Both me and my 8 yr old son went in for the first time! Showed Laryn the cut that my son wanted (Justin Bieber thin on the sides and a little airy on top) and she made him very happy since it was the first time he got to choose his own style. Laura took care of me and did exactly as instructed short on the sides and left a little on top to style. I loved the neck massage and the hot towels over the face when I had my hair washed. Def coming back in a couple of months! Great vibe and atmosphere. Well worth the money!

Let me start off saying that, I AM a licensed cosmetologist, however, I am a disabled veteran and cannot provide haircutting services for my husband anymore. With that being said, I know how this industry works..So for my husbands first experience here: when he first came in he had to wait an extended amount of time, even though no clients were in the shop waiting. One stylist was supposedly taking an unauthorized lunch and hadnt come back, so he waited for one of the other 2 stylists to finish up. Jessica ended up taking back my husband and provided an amazing haircut!! Which I was very happy about, especially considering his high visibility position at work.Later, when my husband came back for his next haircut, Jessica was booked up and he couldnt wait for a different day, so he took whomever was available and it was NOT a haircut I would allowed out of my own chair! I asked who cut his hair and he explained what happened and I told him to not allow that person to cut his hair again, please.This last time that he got a haircut, we made sure he HAD an APPT WITH JESSICA!!! However, he gets to his appt ON TIME and Jessica BUMPS him from his appt with her for one of her obviously regular clients and he is forced to see the same stylist that gave him the horrible haircut the 2nd time he had come in!!!So, needless to say, I am very unpleased with ALL THREE incidents (with the exception of the actual 1st haircut!)!!! We WILL be finding a new barber!
