I hired Michelle to manage my property. She mismanaged the property from the beginning. Her husband is a realtor in the area. She listed my property for too high and asked me to sell it through her husband 4 times in the first month saying she would give me a deal on the realtor fees. She finally lowered the rent after I demanded she do so. I had to rewrite the description because she didnt put any effort into it.Long story short she leased my property to a military (ex) wife with no job and two little girls who had an ex husband deployed. They were working things out. He came back and BCL properties did not have him sign the lease agreement. He decided to leave her and moved out of the house 7 months early. I paid all the court fees to take them to small claims court and BCL properties didnt show up as they agreed to do. I cant get them to answer their phone at all anymore. The house was left unlocked and trashed. Stains on the carpet, filthy, and a burn circle in the middle of my back yard.There are plenty of honest companies in the area. These people are using the management company as a ploy to get people to sell their homes. This part of their business is far from their first priority. Im out the court fees and 7 months of lost rent because they just decided they were done with it.

I met Michele and her husband four years ago when I first to moved to Manhattan.I rented a townhome for about two years. I also brought a home with the help of her husband.They also help me mange my rental home that I have.In the four years that I have known both Michele and her husband has been nothing but a great experience.She has gone out of her way many times to help me fix anything or she finds someone to help me.She does a wonderful job managing my property and I have nothing but amazing things to say about her and her husband.I would recommend her or her husband to anyone that needs management help or even wanting to purchase a house.

My husband and I rented a duplex in July 2015 to May 2016, the duplex was not insulated very well, so our electric bill in the winter was over $400! Michelle is very nice, but not very good at returning calls or emails promptly!Also we had asked if we could get a pet addendum several times and she kept saying she would put it in our mailbox, after waiting several weeks I just gave up on being able to get a pet because she never gave us the paper work!We moved out before our lease was up in May, and she wouldnt work with us on getting out of our lease early so we had to pay rent there even when we werent there, which wasnt a huge deal because of the timing of our mortgage! But they day we handed in our keys she told us shed call and put the electric and water back in her name! I called both places later on and she put the electric in her name but never called the water company, so I got a bill for water at the duplex for a whole cycle after our lease was up, and now she wont return any emails or phone calls, and the water company will not take it off my name and make her pay it. Its so unprofessional!
