My wife made an appointment online for 2pm on a Sunday. I was there for the appointment at 1:35. No one was around and the shop was locked up tight with the open sign on. Someone should prob update those hours, wasted an hour going there and back.

Steven, store mgr went above and beyond to help my mom who lives off Sharp Road. He picked up her car and tech did the necessary work to correct the engine problem; replace oil pan gaskets; oil change, etc. Her car was leaking oil. She needs her vehicle because it is handicap modified. Dealer parts were also required. The team did an outstanding job and returned her vehicle directly to her within a couple of days. Outstanding customer service. Thank you!

They installed the wrong size tires. Costing me 25 percent loss in fuel economy! They refusefed to put the correct tires on. Then I got a nail in my tire. Called the mandeville shop where I bought them. They told me to go to hammond la to get my tire fixed?? Very unhappy with everything the manager did not do!! Would not recommend at all!! TERRIBLE!!!!

Gave good advice. Fit me in and changed the tire really quickly. Really kind people. Took 17 minutes exactly from the time I got there till I left. I truly appreciated all they did.

These guys are great! Walked in off the street on a Sunday morning and they found time and a way to get my car serviced. Reasonable prices and a clean store. Recommended. (11 months ago).Round two (July 2021)…returned to this shop because once again after a road side emergency, they found time to get my vehicle taken care of and replaced two tires (of course had same supply from previous visit). Very professional and still good prices. Recommended.

My tire kept loosing air once a week while I was in the area. Several times I went there just for air in the tires and was treated with respect and quick response.

If you are thinking about coming here, I suggest not. My first time coming here was the worst experience I have had at any establishment. The store manager talked to me any kind of way, and did not want to listen to what I had to say. After contacting corporate all they wanted to do was give me a $25 loyalty check that I could spend only at their stores. I will never in my life return to any NTB. I knew they could have done more if they wanted !!!

Went online and made an appointment to purchase and have 2 tires put on. The day of my appointment I get there earlier to inform them I’m there. They look in their system to see that they don’t have the tires. They talk me into gettin some other tires and will knock $20 off each tire. I agree to this. I asked that the back passenger tire but removed because it leaks. My appointment was for 11 Am the car was put on the rack close to 12. Then it sits on the rack being unattended as one of the guys goes back and forth between my car and others. Close to 1 I notice that 3 of the 4 tires are on my car and one of the old ones is still on that had the leak. I approach the mechanic to be informed they only have 3 of the 4 tires that I’ve purchased. Now I was never informed that they only had 3 of the 4. When I approach the manager and question this he tells me I have to wait till Monday or Tuesday for the other tire to come in. He didn’t have the courage to come tell me this till I approached him. As I start questioning this problem he walks away saying the counter guy will get me took care of. So I leave then I stop for gas to realists they scratched one of the rims and didn’t wash any of the grease off that was left from tire installation. I had to call them then go back so they would wash it off. Manager says he’s not fighting me about the rim they messed up. But I could take it off and he would look into getting it fixed! Worthless place off business!

Spoke with Brew about tires she was not very customer service friendly. Seemed to be annoyed with my questions. She did provide me with them estimate that I requested. But wont be doing business with them her attitude cautioned me about spending money there.

Not sure where to start with this....But all I can say is do yourself a favor and find yourself another shop for your automotive needs. This place is a scam and will definitely take advantage of women that come by themselves without a male counterpart.Steven the manager was very condescending and rude to my wife about the questions she asked upon receiving the bill for services they supposedly performed when all she wanted was two new tires.Secondly, I understand prices are prices BUT when men come in and make side deals with employees and TELL them what they are willing to pay and get that deal something is very wrong with that picture.Needless to say, my family will never ever do any sort of business at NTB ever again. Very unprofessional setting and corporate should defiantly keep an eye on this particular location ( Steven/manager).

The air conditioner on my 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe was no longer blowing cold air. We took it to another local repair shop, and we were told the compressor and some tubing needed to be replaced. We were quoted $2100. We called NTB to get their price to repair the same parts, and were quoted around $1200, so we opted to have the vehicle repaired there. After looking at our car, we were told the compressor was not affected and we ended up paying around half of what they quoted us initially. I can not tell you how much we appreciated their homesty and integrity! They VERY quickly obtained the proper parts from Hyundai and had my vehicle blowing ice cold air later that afternoon. They were so kind and just a pleasure to deal with! We wont ever take any of our vehicles anywhere else!!

I brought my 1970 Mercedes-Benz to this NTB location to have four tires (that I had already purchased elsewhere), mounted and balanced. As I am typically disappointed by most service facilities in their ability to use caution when handling/servicing my vehicles, I tend to be very specific about how I want things done. Shannon, and the crew of guys that were on duty Sunday 5/31/20, were very good to deal with. Shannon listened to all my instructions, was very accommodating, and the other guys doing the service were very helpful as well. I had a wonderful experience here recently! Steven, the new owner is friendly, patient, knowledgeable and honest. I needed to buy 4 new tires for my Honda Accord and was very overwhelmed by the process and the expense. Steven took the time to explain all my options and helped me find a fantastic price on 4 great tires. I was told I needed work done that he showed me wasnt needed for at least another year. Its hard to find honest mechanics! I had no idea NTB handled so many issues at their location! I thought it was just tires. Ill be having my oil changes, break jobs, etc. handled here now! Had the best experience ever with these guys! They helped me get 4 all terrains, mounted, balanced, and installed them on my truck, they also showed me how my brake pads were low and how I had to have a few other things. Steven, the manager, was extremely polite and professional. I arrived at NTB at around 11, and with 4 new tires, brakes and rotors, I was out before 2 pm. Would seriously recommend bringing your car or truck here.

Find yourself a better mechanic than a group of kids who can’t perform a brake job correctly or diagnose your car.

Said they opened at 7 on Saturdays but we were there at 6:45 so that we could have our flat fixed as quickly as possible and no human was seen by the time we left at 7:25. It’s perfectly fine to open at 7:30 but then say you open at 7:30 so people don’t waste their time. Went to another, nearby tire place that opened at 7:30 - they answered the phone when we called before 7:30, opened promptly at 7:30, and helped us out right away. This is a silly way to lose business but we won’t be using this place anymore!

Noticed that my front tires felt weird so I paid for a tire rotation and service here and they said nothing was wrong. After I got ripped off I could tell something still wasnt right so I took it to the dealership this time. They inspected the tires and found a slight tear on the inside of one of the tires. Shouldve went to the professionals first and saved some money...

My wife and I were staying in Mandeville, LA., just across Lake Ponchartrain from NOLA.While we were there we found ourselves having to buy four tires and a battery for our Jetta. Not being local we were not sure where to go so we looked online for reviews of auto tire/battery businesses. National Tire and Battery had great reviews so we called them to see if we needed an appointment. Shawn, the man I was speaking with, said they could get us right in.We drove there and were pleasantly greeted by the technicians in the service bay and then headed to the office, where we were also pleasantly greeted by Shawn. He was kind, professional, and efficient.The necessary work was performed in good time and the cost was reasonable. My wife and I are travelers and live in our RV full-time. We are never in one spot for too long. We were concerned about what recourse we had if we had troubles with their work. We were pleased to find out they are affiliated with Tire Kingdom so those concerns were unfounded.They have a clean and pleasant waiting room and offer coffee to enjoy while you are waiting. We had the opportunity to also speak with Steve, the manager. It is very obvious he understands great customer service and expects all the employees to provide it.I feel if you do business with them you will be very glad you did. Ours was a top-notch experience.

I use to go to firestone till one day they said it would be a four hour wait till they can get to me and acted like I was a bother to them. So I called my mom upset and she said go see Mr Steven the new owner at NTB and he will take care of you. I walked in he was very friendly and happy, he took me right in. Its my go to place for car issues. I know that Steven is going to be straight up and honest with me. Hes very caring and an honest young man always trying to help as much as he can. This is the best and only place to bring your car to be worked on. They treat you like family. The place is very clean for a automotive shop. They work really hard to make you happy and they take care of your car as if its there own. The prices here are very reasonable also. I just wanted to say thank you so much Mr Steven for taking care of me for all these years and you will always have my business!!!! 😁

I called this shop at 1pm to find out information regarding getting my wheels and tires balanced and to finish the call I asked if they’d be able to do it if I came in by 3pm since they close at 5pm.I was told yes.After driving 25 minutes to get there at 3pm on the dot, I was greeted by the guy who most likely answered the phone at the front counter, just to be told “sorry. Can’t do it today”...Not even willing to help out since I was in fact told this and with a horrible wobble in my tires all I was told was to check other places in the area. Knowing it’s Sunday and no more than 2 hours before everything closes I’m screwed!NEVER again!Very unprofessional, almost like a chop shop I would imagine.And apparently Walmart Auto Center charges less.

I went there and was charged for four tires I never purchased. When I spoke to the owner he basically said I was lying. I was livid with this manager for making all kinds of accusations about me making this purchase. I purchased a set of tires for my Escalade and was charged for a different set of tires a couple of days later. After a couple of weeks I was notified that they figured out that an employee charged me by mistake. The man who got free tires came in and apologized to me and showed me the receipt where my payment information was there. Even after this person backed up my claim the owner still tried to go with his therapy. At the end he admitted someone made an error but the worthless man did not apologize. Never will return to the Mandeville location.

Super friendly crew, even when incredibly short staffed. I met Tara and was amazed when I saw this girl heading out to the garage and working the hard labor between customers at the desk.Country filled me in on all the information I wanted to know about things I need to work on when possible, but without pushing product down my throat.5 stars... I cant say enough!

Worst experience ever. We scheduled an appointment with this shop for 9:30 this morning for an oil change and tire rotation. After about a hour and half of being there I asked how much longer and he then proceeds to tell me that they can’t find my wheel lock and they won’t be able to rotate my tires. So I said ok I’ll figure that out later that to just finish up my oil change and I’ll be on my way. Well 4 hours later I finally get to leave bc the guy decided to take my wheel off anyway and couldn’t put it back on. I will never return to this location after this experience

Hello everyone that may read this.... Ive been wanting to leave a review for this sweet hearted man for awhile now... This morning I was heading to the store and noticed I had a flat tire so I drove up and saw that they wasnt open for another thirty minutes, so I parked and decided Ill wait till they open... So I see my buddy Mr Ricky come out and tell me good morning Ms Jackson is everything okay and what can I help you with? You dont have to to wait out here... He helped me inside because of my disability and made me coffee and fixed my tire for me himself... Hes such a sweetheart! I remember the first time I came into this location nobody at any other place could figure out what was wrong with my car untill Mr Ricky helped figure it out and I see why his nickname is MacGyver... Ive never met anyone like him, hes very intelligent, kind hearted, hardworking and caring... I appreciate everything youve done for me thank you so much Richard !!!!!!!!

Have used these guys since they were Tire Kingdom. The sales guys are generally strait up and they offer you what you ask for and are happy to show you options.

My Daughters 2008 Nissan Pathfinders check engine light came on. From this NTB location the diagnostic check was $129.00. The services quoted by this NTB location which the manager stated Had to be done was $1300.00. I went to the Firestone location blocks away, and got the exact same diagnostic check done ($89.00) and they performed the work for $329.00. My experience with NTB was professional however, I strongly believe I was being sold services that were not needed.

I have mixed feelings, but one of them is this uneasy sense that I was conned a bit. I chose this place because the parent company also holds NTB, which Ive had good luck with. The quality of work they did seems OK, but even when you have an appointment, they seem to take forever. They dont seem to have enough people working there. When I was waiting, I would hear the manager tell some people that they were booked for the day and tell other people he could take them in a few hours. I had a vehicle that I had previously purchased new tires for and had to bring back for an alignment and the replacement of a rotten spare tire. The spare had 4 security lugs on it (for which I didnt have the key), and the manager said he could remove them for $20. When it came time to pay, he charged $39.99 to remove the lugs and acted like he never said it would be $20.00. This was still better than their standard fee of about $20 per lug, but I couldnt understand why he would do a bait and switch after I had recently bought 4 new tires. I wasnt in the mood for arguing. Also, the impression I had gotten from the manager was that when I returned for the alignment, they would mount the spare tire at no charge, but I was charged anyway. The manager seems like a really nice guy, but I would advise anybody to watch him a bit. Some of the workers are a pretty green. One of them didnt even know how to open the hatch of my vehicle. I cant be sure, but it looked like another one of them was smoking weed outside the garage. Im going to Sams Club next time.

Awesome and fast job! Need new rim and tire as well as a rotation and alignment. Was fishished in 2 days and were very good at keeping me updated! Will go back!

Purchased tires from online source. NTB mounted and balanced and reprogrammed TPMS for reasonable price. One tire had slow leak after install. Returned a couple of days later, NTB dismounted, cleaned bead and wheel, remounted, verified bead seated, and reprogrammed TPMS. Very satisfied overall. All done in a timely manner.

They went the extra mile an made me feel better about trusting other plp working on my car, and the front desk lady Jennifer is very cute and made me feel right at home and was easy to talk to and ask questions, call me girl Ill buy u dinner, all in all Ill go back for service again

Brought 2 vehicles over for a full tire swap, I was told by the guy who wrote my ticket after nearly 30 min of waiting and two trips back that my cost would be around $80 a vehicle. So i thought 160 plus tax, should be around 172. Received a phone call from a different individual a few hours later that warned me that one of the vehicles had a non functioning tire pressure monitor and they would not be able to calibrate them. I said no problem it isnt necessary for the particular one. I arrived 20 min later to find a 230 bill and when i asked why she told me there was a 30 fee per truck for programming the sensors. I can get that but why charge me for the one that would not program? I asked. Oh well let me talk to the tech she said. Came back a few moments later and said He still put them in My thought was that if they do this with every vehicle them why wasnt i told so i could shop the price BEFORE i gave them my business. When I got back to work i also realized they put the tires with he MOST wear on one side. When I called I was told, it wont make a difference anyway. I left feeling scammed and WILL NEVER return to do business there.

Got a good deal (B2G2) on tires last time I was here. Came back for rotation, alignment, and oil change. I made an online appointment which made service efficient dispite NTB having a full parking lot and being busy on a Saturday morning.Better internet speed would get the extra star.

The people here at NTB of Mandeville are amazing! I honestly cannot understand the people writing bad reviews on here, but I can just about guarantee that they were simply misunderstandings on the customers side. The professionalism of the staff is absolutely outstanding! Please do yourself a favor and ignore the negativity seen in some of the other reviews. I didnt even know a single member of the staff previous to my visit. Im not writing this review because Im friends with someone there. Im writing this review because the people that helped me while I was there, each time, absolutely earned it, and this is a review written after my 3rd visit.

Went to one location and they indicated an appointment would be required for a 4 wheel alignment. I called this Mandeville branch and a Steven said to be there at 1because he was holding 1-2 opened for me.I arrived at 12:45pm. He said one car was ahead and he would try to have it done before 3pm. I have an appointment at 3:30, 20 minutes from this location.2 pm rolls around and the car is still in front. From the lack of urgency in this place I decided to leave rather than make it late to the following appointment.I walked out the waiting room to the bay along the back. I notice Steven and politely ask for the key. He says I am pulling it in now and I told you we will get it after this car as he pointed to the car on the rack. I say okay then Steven turns around starts shaking his head and audibly sighs. I said no, give me the key. I am not in the business of paying people to treat me with poor service.People do not give into bad customer service. If some scrawny crap-for brains gives you lip or attitude, shop elsewhere. If they say they are gonna get you right in, then ensure they do just that. If the person serving you treats you in a manner short of excellent, then explain the issue, leave an accurate review or explain to their superior.It would be different if I drove off the street, but Steven told me he was blocking off the time to provide the repairs. Please keep pressure on businesses to provide excellent service.

I waited around for about 25 mins even after being told they will be right with me. And I had to do all of the research myself on their computer. The front desk staff was almost useless. I brought in a dead battery and asked them if they could charge it and tell me its life expectancy. They gave me a printout that said your battery is dead, it needs to be charged. Well duh! they couldnt tell how old the battery was so they said why dont you just buy a new one.
