Went in one afternoon as my car needed an alignment with a slight pull after I changed both front end tie rods myself earlier that morning. Staff was friendly and gave a fair price for the work to be done and took me in even though shop seemed busy. Was told I could wait in lobby, but I said no to take your time with the vehicle as I was in no rush and left. An hour later got a call from David the owner himself saying car was done and in perfect alignment now, but that he had road tested car and pointed out how he thought my front tire may be going bad or be out of balance. No upsell or anything fishy on his part- just that something he noticed and that I may want to take it where i got the tires to have them looked at and maybe balanced as he could not physically see anything wrong with them.So on his professional advice, I took car to business that sold me the tires and they indeed found one of the front tires to be out of spec and replaced it and now car is driving perfectly again. They said had I driven it too much longer it could of blownout on the highway. Forever grateful and impressed at how extremely professional respectful and honest David and his wonderful team are and will be bringing all my vehicles for service at this wonderful shop and recommending to everyone I know.

I had brought my toyota 4 runner to 2 other mechanics prior to being referred to davids automotive. the two others said that i had major issues with my abs system and that it would probably not be worth repairing. Fortunately, I had trouble accepting this as an only solution. David had my car up and running, and proved the others completely wrong in their assessment .He charged me for only one hour of labor cost. I am now a permanent customer, and many in my family who used the other mechanics will be too.

Highly recommend this shop. Very professional, prompt calls to notify with estimates and when the work was completed. My service included; air conditioning vacuum and recharge, front brake pads with rotor resurface, replace old brake fluid, oil/filter change, rotate tires and overall checkup. All this was completed in one afternoon and at a very reasonable price.

This is by far the best shop in Mandeville, La. No bs time waiting while the employees at other shops take their sweet time talking and joking with each other. Ive been told by other shops that it would take them two hrs before they could do a 10min job. Once again, number one customer service here at Davids

Honest mechanic..

I brought my car in to get fixed because it kept dying. When I got it back, had absolutely no gas and no oil. he drove it to Slidell and back twice and said it was smoking but didnt think to check the oil. now my car is not fixed and is worse then it was before. I dont recommend going here.

There were transmission problems with my vehicle and also trouble with brakes. Davids Auto repaired both excellently. Had vehicle back 3 weeks and not a problem. There was some trouble getting a new transmission, but David stayed true and got the job done. I would recommend davids Automotive and Alignment to anyone who has automotive trouble with their vehicle.
