I had a package that was shipped internationally via DHL to my apartment. Using DHLs own instructions, I put that the package was not to be left unattended and that it was to be left at the leasing office. Sure enough, the package was left in the lobby of my building (right next to a sign that even says dont leave packages there, ironically) and the package was stolen. And to boot, when I called DHL, they said they wouldnt do anything about it.
The wrong tracking number was assigned to my package at the Manchester Distribution Center and DHL can only say contact USPS. There is nothing USPS can do to resolve a tracking number mistake they didnt assign. Very unhelpful and I still dont know where my actual package is.
I would give 0 stars if I could. No customer service. I still dont have my package, and it has been 8 days. Now trying to find it with USPS, at least they help!
Helpful and patient staffs. They took time to find my packages destination address which was difficult to find on their new system. Package was also delivered within the promised time frame.

Not only did they deliver my package to the wrong address, they made absolutely no effort in recovering it. Their customer service is atrocious and I will never use this company again. For over a week I tried to get answers and assistance in finding my package and all I received was attitude and misinformation. DO NOT trust this company.
Awful customer service. Specifically ordered a shipment to be held at the DHL Lockers in Manchester, got the e-mail to retrieve my package, drove to pick up my parcel, told it wasnt there. The rep said it was given to the USPS to deliver, despite me specifically declining that in advance as I didnt want it going to the house (Christmas presents that would require a signature I wouldnt be around to provide). Rep said she sent an e-mail explaining. I said she didnt. She went in the back, sent the e-mail then, and came back and said I should have it. No use now that I already drove out to Manchester. Wont be using this awful place again. Big waste of time.
Horrible. Didnt even try to deliver package on the day they were supposed. I will stick with UPS. Never will I use them again!

Today (mar 21) at 2:51pm, I saw a DHL van (with either VT or NH license plate) approaching me on Brackett Road in Rye, NH. As I was training my puppy, I walked off the street (we have no sidewalks in our town) about 4 feet away from the road line onto a dirt/grass area. The DHL van purposely drove off the road onto the dirt where I was standing and then swerved to miss me and my dog. His speed never changed nor did I see any brake lights. I have emailed DHL to investigate this reckless behavior

My experience with DHL has been excruciatingly painful. By default, a signature is required on DHL packages even if you dont want that to be the case...The delivery lady came to my house, knocked on my door, heard my dogs, and left immediately. I went outside and tried to flag her down as she drove away. I got in my car with the tag she left and tried to find her in my own vehicle for 45 minutes. I called the local DHL office and tried to give them the tracking number on the tag the delivery lady had left. THE LADY WROTE THE WRONG NUMBER. I check my email for the correct number and Im told that the courier will return to my house by the end of the day (most likely in the evening). Im told I can sign the tag and shell drop the box off. The time is currently 8:19pm. I have been sat outside waiting for this package since 3:30pm. Ive called the office again while it was open and was reassured a second time she would be coming to my house. As the local office closed at 6, I was rerouted to the National DHL hotline for any further assistance. A nice lady on the phone then told me there was still a chance as the driver has to off-load all boxes before they had back to the local office. THIS HAS NOT HAPPENED. I paid $30 extra to receive a package on my doorstep on Friday - not for your company to get my signature. There has been absolutely no recourse whatsoever when trying to track down and pickup my package. I am now forced to wait until Monday and hope that the delivery driver sees the signed tag and leaves the package. THIS IS AN INCREDIBLY TERRIBLE SERVICE. I DID NOT PAY MONEY FOR YOU TO GET MY SIGNATURE. I PAID MONEY FOR YOU TO DROP A BOX OFF ON MY DOORSTEP. Do your job correctly. I will not be shipping anything through DHL or buying from stores which I know use DHL. This is a terrible company. Oh! And your Customer Support Twitter feed was useless and literally provided zero assistance. So not only do your humans fail, your phone lines fail, your website fails, and your twitter feed fails. YOU FAIL DHL.
