The staff and equipment at this gym are excellent. They will always take the time to make sure you have a good experience. The one time I had an issue it was with the outside billing service and the manager, Eric, fixed the issue for me the same day and was kind and professional during the interaction.A big thank you to the team and management!

Higher price less open hours. If you’re gonna raise the price at least open the gym 24/7 for goodness sake. It’s Sunday 6:00AM i can’t go to the gym because it’s closed. I have to wait until 8. We used to pay $10/month and the gym was open 24/7 now we pay $40/month and the gym has very few open hours. It’s the best gym in town but their schedule sucks.MAKE FITLAB GREAT AGAIN.

I have been with Fitlab for a year. When I chose this facility the childcare and womens area set it apart from other gyms.Fitlab stopped having childcare (as in they didnt bring it back after childcare was again allowed) I had changed my schedule to be there at 5:00 am when they opened. I didnt mind arriving at 5:00 am but roughly half the time no one was there to open the facility until 5:20 and sometimes later. This meant I had to cut my workout short to get back home to my kids before my husband had to go to work.During my time there I asked many times for an additional elliptical to be moved to the womens room to replace a similar broken machine.  Having only one of this sort of machine available in there meant waiting for others to get off the machine or go out into the main area with everyone.  I was told they didnt have room to add an elliptical.  However, when they eventually got rid of the broken machine they brought in not 1 but 3 other machines.  They never did bring in another elliptical though.  Also, requesting repairs to a machine seemed pointless, they would say that they will look into it but then nothing would happen.There are a few really nice staff there in the morning. The afternoon staff though can be extremely unprofessional. Afternoon staff frequently discuss members with one another and even other members.  I have heard them on numerous occasions standing around gossiping about people.The final straw for me is now they are moving the womens room to a tiny area that wont be able to accommodate the same level of equipment held  in the current womens room.  This means I will have to do most of my workout in the main area.I have tried to stay with Fitlab because they are close to my home.  At this point I am realizing their management really just want to collect your money.  I have found their competition is cheaper, offers more, and has a lot more hours.I had disregarded the poor reviews and hoped for a better experience when I signed up. I hope others will read this review of my year and strongly consider the issues I have mentioned before joining.

Staff has always been professional, friendly, understanding, accommodating and relatable. Terrific option for a local gym! Judgement free environment and workout classes are THE BEST! Clean facility - worth every dime!

This gyms management team is unmatched. I just moved to town about a month ago and was looking for a gym that had some alternative cardio machines such as the Concept 2 rower. This gym had the rowers but they were not in good condition, so I brought it up to management and within a week they two brand new rowers on the floor. The management team gets it, if you want a gym to succeed, listen to your members. Great work.

Thanks to the staff of the FITLAB Manchester NH for opening the doors back up. So happy to be back home working out. Nice to see the gym in action again love 💘 this place. Its better than ever right now. Feels so good to get a pump again. Thank you.

I’ve been going to this gym for 4 years and I have to say that since Dana became the manager, I’ve enjoyed coming here more. I have a 3 year who has been going to the daycare since she was 6 weeks old and I don’t trust most people to care for my child but Carrie has 10000% given me so much trust and security to be able to workout and feel that my daughter is being taken care of. Good vibes here, I love it.

Fantastic!I just joined about a week ago to lose some extra pounds off.The manager was super cool-very informative and took the time to give me a tour before I signed up for membership- so nice!Gym Highlights:- Right downtown Manchester-Huge! I never have a problem waiting for machines-All kinds of weights and machines and kettle bells!-Clean locker rooms and bathrooms and showers and scales to monitor progress!-Friendly staff that are helpful!They offer personal trainers for very affordable prices! I got two free personal training sessions just for signing up as a member but I am yet to try use them!

I travel a lot for the military and one big downfall is always having to find a good gym, or pay $60 to use a gym for the 3 weeks Im in an area, just to leave and not come back. Chris was kind enough to allow me to use the facilities for free and show me around the place. I found there to be a good selection of free weights and barbells, as well as machines. Everything was clean and orderly and the clientele were very friendly and conversational. I am in New Hampshire often and will be returning without any doubt.

Working out at FitLab is always a welcoming warming experience every time I go! Its clean and very well maintained. The staff I would say always greets me kindly and gives me the best customer service one can ask for. Chris specifically has been an amazing person to work with on the phone for anything related to my account. I love the diversity in equipment and the people! Whatever FitLab has going on keep doing it because I love it!

Has everything you need for functional fitness and HIIT training (30% treadmills, ski erg, rower, Jacobs ladder, Peloton bikes, turf area, etc.). Plenty of parking on-site, even when it got busier after work. I definitely would recommend Fit Lab over bigger chain gyms.

Best gym in Manchester. Great trainers

Just moved to the Manchester area last month and decided to join fitlab. The staff was very friendly, and setting up my membership was seamless. For its size, the gym itself is well kept. Like any gym, try to avoid the busy times if possible. But overall, it has a variety of equipment and a good atmosphere. Definitely have killer workouts here!

The gym is family owned and unlike other commercial gyms, the owners are right there with you to help you with anything you may need. Whether youre a beginner or an expert, this place is awesome and the music is always on point! After my second visit, I just left my headphones at home because I preferred their music.

Great gym, Chris the rep guy is very friendly and chatty. The sauna the equipment, machines, everything is really good. I had a major time taking care of my health. Hope to come more often after this pandemic!

The place is 10 times better than a few years ago! The manager Dana has really brought the gym into a great place! He is so helpful and super friendly and approachable! He’s awesome at solving any problem! Take any issues to him big or small and he gets it resolved!

I love various things about this gym. The most important is all the toys 😀. I also find the staff friendly and welcoming (thanks Chris!), and I love that I see people at all fitness levels, so its easy to fit in. I am looking forward to the day they are able to open even earlier so going there will be even more convenient.

Chris was extremely informative and kind to talk with on my first visit. Gave me a quick tour and directed me to where I could get my workout started right away. Great experience so far. Really felt inspired to exercise the moment I walked in.

Great job at the social distancing on equipment for their fist day open. Only complaint is that they dont do day passes for guests of members. Some people travel and visit the area and want to just pay for a day (and more consistently than just that 1 free week )

This gym is awesome! Off the bat, the general manager of the fitlab in Manchester, Dana, was super helpful. I told him I was a college kid only here for break and he was so helpful with what plan I should do and how I should proceed. Also, the rest of the staff is so nice greeting me every time I come in. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to workout!

Fitlabs billing service - ABC Financial - is a total nightmare. Tried cancelling my membership multiple times, but was charged repeatedly. Dishonest, scammy company. There are other more honest gyms out there; I would recommend one of those instead of Fitlab.

I love being a member here at fitlab fitness club! The facilities are always clean and the staff is awesome. I especially love the ladies gym and this gym has a lot to offer for a great price. They really worked with me when I got injured and froze my account for personal training, which is also awesome!

Nice, clean, recently renovated gym with knowledgeable staff. The manager –Johnny is super friendly and really there to please. Great downtown Manchester location -very affordable, between $10-20 a month with an incentive program that gives free months with buddy referrals.I like that they offer an array of classes at convenient times.They offer different classes like yoga, spinning, pulates, zumba, bootcamps, etc... they also have a variety of machines and enough free weights in the weight room. They also have a large locker room with sauna .This gym is always spotless.

Place has a lot of equipment, always do their best to fix anything thats broken right away and management listens to your concerns. Dana is an excellent GM and would serve any position he is in above and beyond well! Hope they extend the hardly used womans room for something good! Something new that will attract more people to join Wonderful Manchester fitlab.

Very nice experience here at this gym, the equipment is up to date and the free weight selection is very pleasing. I wasnt able to continue with my membership due to my financial obligations and they cancelled my contract easily and with no termination fee which was a blessing. The staff is very friendly and the environment fosters good social interaction, I met some pleasant individuals here! I would just work on getting some ventilation as things can get a bit smelly with everyone working out lol. A special thank you to Dana!

Great people, great facility, great price.

I joined about 6 months ago and have had an overall great experience. All of the staff is very pleasant, including the trainers who are approachable and knowledgeable. A variety of fitness classes are offered and included in the membership, along with nice equipment, a ladies only workout room, turf space, sled, TRX, and battle ropes! I do wish the gym were open later in the evenings but besides this I’ve been happy here.

I can’t say anything negative about Fitlab. The staff are friendly and professional. Plenty of equipment for your everyday workout routine. Dana the manager is willing to work with you if you have any issues or concerns. I will easily recommend anyone to this gym.

Dirty and equipment is Bare minimum.Ted relied back stating he or the facility has tried to get in contact with me. NOBODY has what so ever. Also, the equipment Ive reported as broken still hasnt been repaired. The Manchester facility is the one Im referring to.After my last review the place has slightly changed for the better. Still dirty,but Dana has turned the place around for the better. If it wasnt for Dana then the place would be horrible. Props to Dana!

Dana (gym manager) goes the extra mile taking care of the members. He not only asks members, he listens and takes action on fixing the problem. It is nice to see someone who actually cares about the input, complaints and occasional equipment breaking to go the extra mile and making the members happier. FitLab in Manchester is by far one of the best gyms I’ve worked out at. Not just because of the equipment, but because of the staff, the members, and cleanliness of the gym. The gym is always up to par and the staff and members are friendly which makes going to the gym a lot more enjoyable. I’ve recently become a trainer at the gym because I love the environment it offers and being able to share the experience with my clients is an added bonus.

A gym that actually feels like a gym. Lots of fit people working hard to stay that way, excellent trainers that take their workouts seriously and will help you to do the same. Ive been at bigger places with more equipment, but prefer this place. Would be nice if the locker rooms were kept cleaner. But I come here to get in shape.

Nice and friendly atmosphere, I enjoyed Stacys’s classes very much. Friendly staff, they have amazing workout equipment. Loved the fact that tanning bed is included with my monthly fee.

Fitlab is my favorite place to workout. They have tons of nice and up to date equipment and offer a mix of workout classes as well. The staff has always been super helpful and friendly. Overall great experience!

FitLab is awesome and far exceeding my expectations for a fitness facility. The staff (especially chris,) was incredibly helpful and immediately got me setup and familiar with the space. The gym itself has something for every level of gym-goer and is incredibly clean. The locker room was also incredibly clean and large (the sauna is a total bonus.) It’s also open late which is another benefit. Because it’s so large and well laid out it also did not feel crowded at all. 10/10 would recommend!

Has got to be one of the dirtiest gyms Ive ever been to. I hold multiple gym memberships (including this gym) and enjoy popping into random gyms frequently. The condition of this place is disgraceful. The other locations are much better. I made a point to notice that the same smears/splatter spots on the mirror in the mens locker room was there for OVER A YEAR. If this is your only option it is moderately well appointed with equipment, but bring your Clorox wipes.******Edit****Thanks for the response Ted, but I dont understand why you are confused. The last time I was in the club was in March, that is correct. The reason WHY havent been back since then is because of the condition of the gym over the entirety of my membership. In fact when I left that day in March I ask the young man at the front desk why the club was so dirty and explained to him about the year old spatters on the mirror in the locker room, his response was we have a hard time maintaining a cleaning staff which is understandable, but the condition of the club falls on the shoulders of first the manager and then other employees by delegation of duties by the manager. So SOMONE should be cleaning and not have everyone be resigned to well there is no janitor so the club is dirty attitude.I accept your offer to return to the club, for another go, perhaps I will ask the front desk for your direct contact information and we can talk about it in person. Being a member of Fitlab has been the best experience. I am someone who has been very intimidated by “regular” gyms in the past but everyone has made me feel more than welcome to this gym.I love taking classes and have not been disappointed by any of the instructors. Zumba has been my favorite class so far. I thought I couldn’t dance and wouldn’t be able to do it, but the music was so much fun and Stacey was awesome, I couldn’t believe the workout I got without even realizing it..if you are looking for an awesome group fitness program this is definitely the gym.

This gym does not have good hygiene and they charge you random fees and change your membership contract without communication. They paused my month to month membership during covid 19. Now that they are back open my membership went up $10 without communication and a $40 service charge without communication. I would not recommend you join this gym. WASTE OF MONEY for the gym quality.

Fitlab in Manchester NH. If your like me, a gym rat you can say thank god Dana has taken over as manager I have been a member of Golds/Fitlab for 20+ years. Hardcore past competitor, healthy is a way of life, in the gym 5 to 6 days a week. Yet I cannot say it enough that the gym before Dana came on was a disgrace, dirty,smelly,lots of broken equipment. I stopped going to Manchester and drove to the Hudson gym where surprise Dana was manager. I am not the only one that feels this way. Everyone I talk to says the same thing, about Manchester and Hudson now that Danas wife is running that gym. What Id like to think is that the owners Ted and Chris realize is Dana is a GEM and I for one appreciate his hard work and dedication to the gym and its members. Thank you Dana for making us finally feel like people who deserve a well run gym. Your AWESOME

I love this gym! The childcare has made it so convenient for me to be able to workout and take care of myself. I just drop my two year old off and get some much needed me time. :) The staff have all been super friendly and helpful, and I’ve really enjoyed all the classes I’ve tried (especially yoga and Pilates!). The equipment seems really updated and new - my go to is the Jacobs ladder. I don’t wrote reviews often but this is the best gym I’ve gone to!

I was pretty nervous about walking into the gym but once I was in there the staff made me feel super comfortable and the classes are great. I never once felt judged or out of place. It was super clean which is good because im terrified of germs. I felt very welcomed and I would absolutely recommend checking it out.

When I joined Fitlab Manchester in August 2018, it was open 24 hours, which was convenient for me since I like late-evening workouts on the weekend. Now they close at 8pm! My membership is up for renewal, and Im not sure what to do. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GO BACK TO BEING A 24-HOUR GYM! This is the reason I gave it only 4 stars, because otherwise, the gym is great.

Signed up for this gym about a month ago and I really enjoy it. Has all the things you need for a great work out and doesnt smell awful like other gyms. Can definitely get a little busy which I dont love but I just follow the off peak guidelines on google and it has never been a problem.I have seen complaints on here about gym equipment always being broken and can say that is just not true. Yes, there have been times when I have come to Fitlab and one or two of the treadmills are out of order. However, I come every day and these repairs have always been done by the next day. You cant hold a grudge against a gym that actually maintains their equipment.All in all, one of the best fitness clubs Ive been to. Oh and also, the staff are awesome. Super friendly at all times, even when its 6am! Keep it up.

This used to be a Golds Gym a few years ago. It remains pretty much the same set up with machines, free weights, and classes, although it seems there isnt as much availability for the classes. Overall its in decent shape, and the few times Ive gone since I started going back after a 2 year hiatus theyve been actively cleaning the facility. Even though a few of the machines are on the older side theyre maintained well. I go weekdays mid-morning and have easy access to equipment as its not too crowded.

The gym isnt perfect, but since Dana got here 6 months ago, it has improved exponentially. The staff is better, the equipment gets fixed sooner, and the facility is cleaner. Keep up the good work

EDIT RESPONSE: A bit inconvenient to me? How tone deaf are you? And the hours werent to clean the place or fix broken equipment, you can still do that at night with the place open, its obviously to cut costs so please dont try to act like you are helping your customers because you are not.At first the 24 hour gym I thought I was signing up for was good. The staff is friendly, the shake bar is pricey but very good and going later in the night was nice because it wasnt packed and you didnt have to wait to use equipement. However all of a sudden, without much notice, the gym shortened their hours. This is very inconvenient for me, working a night shift, as I go to the gym at all hours of the day depending on my sleep schedule. If I had known about these hours changing I would have never signed up to begin with. Also I have started to noticed a lot of equipment has been broken for a significant amount of time and not been fixed. While there isnt really a problem with the cleanliness of the gym, because that is almost what you expect, the locker rooms arent very clean. All of this I definitely would have been able to deal with, and would recommend to people, had they not switched their hours. Being there this week as they closed at 11pm with many other people there trying to work out is extremely frustrating.

Came up to New Hampshire for several months and needed a good gym for the time. FitLabs facilities were fantastic, as were their staff. Great experience as a whole.

I really enjoy this gym. Friendly staff and I look forward to the fitness classes. Vanessa’s classes are challenging and a ton of fun.

I have been a member for many years and have enjoyed the Gym and the updates they have made over the past few years with newer equipment. The reason for my great review is for the fitlab trainers, specifically Brandt. Both my kids are also members since high school and have been involved with person training pre college. Brandt has built a program for them that incorporates strength and speed and individualized for their specific sport. Both are now attending college and have excelled in their sports; tennis and soccer. I could not be more pleased with their progress and as a parent feel more comfortable with handing them over to Brandt. My kids enjoy working out, see the benefit for better performance and injury prevention. Brandt will give me constant updates and has great insight into how to motivate my kids. Although now both in college playing sports, they will continue to see Brandt over breaks and summer sessions. I know Brandt will stay updated on their college career and that is the personal attention I don’t think I would find at other gyms.

Amazing gym and great customer service! My happy place

I signed up for this gym in Feb 2017. This wasnt a bad gym to start. They do a great job making it look good to sign you up. They will honor the free membership offer if you meet the tight guidelines, but you have to make sure they honor it with a new contract.Right away you start to notice that a lot of the nice equipment and great layout was hiding some major flaws. A lot of the treadmills are broken. Most of the equipment is run down. And the place is always crowded, which makes for a negative experience.Some of the staff are helpful and friendly and some are downright rude and arrogant. I was once yelled at by one of their trainers because I wouldnt get off the station I had been working circuits on and around for 10 minutes so that his client could use it.In addition, when I told them to stop using my account to charge my ex-wifes membership, they just didnt do it. When I called them on it a couple months later (my fault for assuming theyd complete the request as asked) I was told I would get a refund for the amount that they took unauthorized from my account. I never saw any of the couple hundred dollars they owed me.Do not recommend.

Chris at the front desk was great, very knowledgeable about fitness and accommodating to his customers. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone.

Ive been to many gyms but Ill tell you the one thing that stands out the most is the CLEANLINESS of this gym plus a gentleman named Chris whos very helpful.. thank you guys keep up the great work

This place really went to hell after it stopped being a Golds. The last time I tried to drop in here I waited at the front desk for a good twenty minutes and no one was around to take my money or have me sign a waiver before I just walked right in and started lifting

Ive been a member for 3 years and will probably continue since it works for me. I legitimately enjoyed FitLab to the point I signed my wife up as well. Within the last 3 months a lot has changed. My wife signed up for a boxing lesson and the guy no showed. She rescheduled and another no show. The fitness classes she liked were removed. The gym is no longer 24 hours. My wife is now stuck with a membership she wont use as she went elsewhere. Lots of new equipment but lots of old as well. Break downs are common and the benches have tears in the fabric. Hope things turn around.

Sharing this review for people who have either previously been members of Fitlab-Manchester or people who are thinking about joining. I was a previous member and extremely skeptical when my friend told me how much it had changed under the new management. I decided to check it out for myself and could not believe this was the same gym. In fact, the point is, it really isnt the same gym. Dana, the new manager, clearly cares about the reputation of the gym as well as the members. Most notably, the gym is immaculate now and the staff are welcoming and friendly!

I love the equipment, the staff is very pleasant, and the hours were great and convenient. Honestly pretty upset it’s not 24 hours anymore. It now doesn’t work too well with my schedule. But I’ll try to make due.

Dana is the man. Had an issue and BOOM, fixed it on the spot. Great customer service. Hes running a tight ship over there. Thanks again for your help.

Great gym, nice new equipment and great staff. Ive been a member of FITLAB for a few years now, typically going to the Goffstown location until this fall when ownership changed hands and it became The ZOO. When that happened I ran into a number of problems with being able to cancel my membership at The ZOO due to the fact i wanted to remain a member of FITLAB and would begin to utilize the Manchester facility. The ZOO staff were quite rude and unhelpful, often trying to convince me not to cancel my membership with them and to remain a member. After numerous attempts at cancelling my membership, ZOO staff informed me it was officially cancelled. Fast forward 2 months I noticed I was still being billed by the finance company responsible for collecting The ZOO membership fees. I took this issue up with The ZOO manager Scott Reed who informed me that I was still in fact a paying member of The ZOO, and that I would continue to be a member for several more months due to the fact Id temporarily frozen my membership when Id taken active duty military orders out of state for the summer thus extending my contract with them. He informed me this was a favor the ZOO had performed for me while I was gone and that they didnt have to help me out as much as they had (I returned home and resumed my membership long before The ZOO took ownership of the Goffstown location). This favor which was not actually having to do with The ZOO at all was now coming back to haunt me as I was told I was still on the hook for months of gym membership fees to a gym I was physically unable to attend due to a great geographical distance. Anyway, enter Christopher and Dana (Manchester FITLAB employees), I brought this issue to their attention very recently and they made it their first priority to do their very best to resolve it. They were very understanding of my concerns and they credited my account for 2 months to make up for The ZOOs unwillingness to help me out. So all in all, things were made right by two members of the Manchester FITLAB team, making me feel more like a member and less like a monthly dollar sign.

I’ve been going here for years, I’ve had memberships at other gyms before but the classes and other things they offer at fitlab keep me motivated to come back.

Awful.Equipment:The same machines have been broken for years, even when it was under prior ownership. The equipment is piecemealed together by combining different parts from different machines. A piece of equipment fell on my wives head cause the equipment is piecemealed together.Cleanliness:This place is dirty. You can tell that that the owner puts the most minimum amount of effort/cost to maintain this place.When we canceled the membership there was no apology given by the manager.

Used to absolutely love this place. Been a member for the past 6 years. Only thing that kills me is you guys took away the machine for the finger/forearm exercise and you took away the 24/7 part which was super handy considering I’m at work up until 9 ish a lot and can’t come to the gym after.

I’ve been going to FitLab consistently for about 3 months now and I have really enjoyed the experience. The staff is super nice and helpful especially Bri and Chris! The equipment is top notch! The only thing that bothers me is the hours on the weekends, they close at 8:00 pm and I get out of work at 6 on Saturdays so sometimes it’s challenging to get a full workout in, but other than that FitLab is a great place to work out at a reasonable price

Love my new gym!! The classes are great. Love MaryBeth’s classes. Lots of equipment, new Jacobs Ladder, fun atmosphere, low monthly price! Eric and Clark are the best managers!! You will love it there :)

This is the worst fitness place probably in the New Wngland region. I have been to a lot of gyms in my past, and been at least somewhat satisfied with how the gyms are run. This one, HECK NO!!! The staff is a complete joke. The manager here is a disgrace to his fitness members in general. Signing up was my worst mistake, because by signing up for a membership here means you are signing up for a lifetime membership. The gym is filthy, always has a NASTY stench to it, and almost every employee/Manager is just down right rude. And when you try to cancel, they don’t let you!!!!! They tell you to go to another company to call, which they say is “easy”. My butt. You call and email this other company to cancel your membership, they tell you it’s cancelled, then you get charged for the next month, and the next, and the next, even after following all their directions. Then I came to speak with the a**h*** Manager, and he tells me to go back to this other company, because he can’t help, and then tells me he has to take a phone call, and pretends to answer a phone, and I know that because he dropped his cell phone and it was on his home screen, not a phone call screen. WORST GYM AND MANAGER EVER!!!!!
