Not good. We reserved a van days in advance to be told when we showed up they didnt have a van for us. We insisted they had to give us one. The van was atleast clean. Then we wanted to drop it off on Sunday the voice-mail said they were open, they werent. Not sure what is going on over there but they are kinda a mess.

I am returning customer. Manager and staff are very helpful.I have been their customer for more than 2 years. they are always helpful, friendly and fast. I have never had any problem. I highly recomend this location .

When I arrived at Hertz on south willow street Manchester I was greeted with a smile and everything was ready and waiting for me even tho I was about 15min early. The manager went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. I would recommend them to everyone!

Booked on priceline to pick up at 12 noon. Apparently they close at 12! Booked with a debit/credit card through the site. Apparently you cant do that! Cant cancel, youll lose $200. Cant change the card used. Cant rebook with a different card for the same price. Dont have any other cars available for rent for the weekend either. Cant book online on HERTZ, and 1800 number has over an hour hold times, by the time they answer the place will be closed! What kind of customer service is this?! Im in the service industry, and understand things happen. But if I treated clients like this I wouldnt have a single client! Its bad enough I had to rebook my clients for today once I found out they are only open 9-12. Yikes this place is a disaster!

I wish there was an option for zero starts for this one. This was the worst experience with car rental that I have ever had, or could even imagine. They charged me $144 for my rental and stated that I would be getting $100 back for my deposit, I was then given a car that obviously wasn’t taken care of, the maintenance needed light came on within the first few days and the car would shake going over 50 mph, which didn’t seem good for a 2018 with 35k on it. The tires were completely bald with absolutely no tread on it and they wouldn’t have passed inspection. I only needed the car to drive 5 miles to work everyday while my car was in the shop. On top of this the tire pressure sensor came on and the tire lost a little bit of air probably due to the cold weather. When I dropped it off the guy said that they were going to take the car to a shop and change the tire that had no tread on it and that you could tell visibility never had been rotated and that they were going to charge me. I had to take pictures and videos of the tire so they don’t try and come after me for a problem that there before I rented it. Terrible customer service, very rude and in professional. I would recommend rollerblading rather then renting a car from this location or business. They provide unsafe cars for people to rent and drive and if you rent from them expect their problems to become your own.

Short staffed and the send someone who has no access to any of the computers etc there...he couldnt even do the inspection...stood there while he kept calling people...he was apologetic but still have forthright to give your staff the tools to do the job especially when you see that there are reservations for that day....and apparently he only showed up right before I did as he asked how long I had been waiting....reminds. e if the Seinfeld episode where they can take the reservation but not hold it...

I drive for Uber and I never had the difficulties I received from this Hertz Manchester New Hampshire facility in my life. I believe Diantee, which was the service rep for Hertz that rented me the vehicle, intentionally made it where I’m unable to drive for Uber in Vermont, with a hertz renta car. I had to argue with this guy just to purchase a rental through them, so I can do Uber, and I’m still unable to do Uber in Vermont. I’m losing thousands of dollars as result of Diantee. This guy definitely not good for uber/hertz.

AAA booked my rental through Hertz. They informed me there would be a $250 hold on my debit or credit card. When I arrived they stated they could only use a major credit card and that every rental agency used this policy. Five minutes later enterprise had my car booked for half the holding cost on my DEBIT card. Don’t use hertz they’re twice the holding cost and have zero idea what they’re talking about and quite literally lied to my face when I questioned their policy. Horrible customer service.

Due to an auto accident, I had need to rent transportation. This was not covered by either Insurance, so the burden of price was on me. I called Hertz on S Willow St and was connected with Sue.. WOW is all I can say. She listened to my situation then looked for the best rental and price...not only that but she arranged my rental to be the Make and Model of my ill fated car. We made arrangements for me to p/u the vehicle and I thought that was the end of my very happy experience.....NOT SO..I picked up the vehicle 2 days later as arranged and met Anthony who completed the contract and delivery. What super employees Hertz has. So friendly, cooperative, knowledgeable and helpful. If I had my own business, I would hire these 2 in a heartbeat knowing I could walk away and it would be run to my satisfaction! Well done Sue and Anthony. ....IM NOT DONE YET... I had the pleasure to return my rental with Agent Anthony once again. This was a memorable experience and I would recommend this Company and its employees!!!!!

Dropped my car of with autofaur hyundai for some warranty work and needed a rental and now have been trying to speak with someone since 9 am. Havent heard anything about a rental being avaliable to me at all and no communication at all being done. Horrible customer service do not recommend for anyone.

I rented a car for a week i had it for two days. It needed a oil change and had a slow leak in the tire. They wouldnt change the car and stating that im have to buy tires after there roadside assistant told me to take it to Firestone. They where rude and totally unprofessional. I wouldnt tell anyone to go there!!!!!

I have been going here for 10 Years and today was my last time. I will not return again. I book a reservation online so that we can head to NYC I get there the guy is rude and tells me I know cant rent it without a major credit card. I have been renting for 10 years with the same card. Tell him to look Im a long time member. Needless to say he didnt care and I left.

They are the worst company I have seen. Sue that works their is not to bright. I called a week ahead to make sure everything was ready for me when I dropped my car off after a accident that occurred and thought I was all set. I was told I spoke to someone at corporate instead at south Willow Street. How is a person supposed to know? Just shows everyone is not on the same page. First they try to tell me I didn’t have full coverage from State Farm. Wrong, I got to talk to a State Farm rep and knew that wasn’t the case. Then I was told my bank card was not excepted for the deposit. I even tried to put it on my parents credit card. Nope she was physically not there, she lives in Florida. I got it set up with enterprise on second street and had absolutely no issues. Didn’t even need to put a deposit since my insurance company took care of everything. Don’t use this company, their policies are out of date. Never seen where you had to fight to give them money.

I just called and made a reservation for a five day rental. It was so easy and stress free! Its always hard to figure out logistics and price and other details; but the 800 operator, Carol, was fabulous. Am so glad to see Hertz giving women opportunities to shine.

Employees can’t follow the simplest of requests. Don’t have any sympathy for people that work at night. They are completely rude and would rather cancel your request for a car when there is the slightest change in “their” agenda.I repeat. Terrible customer service. These guys make 14 year old McDonald’s employees look like 5 star hotel concierges.

The vehicle itself was great did the job, but again for the second time I rented there, I got overcharged. Evertime I called in to address the issue I was told someone is going to call me back. Twice. Not one single phonecall came my way to fix this, and I had to call back yet again. Was given the 800 number for billing to call, which I did. After holding for 14 minutesI had Terry answer the phone in a manner that said whats my problem maybe I should look at my rental record again there is no problem, to Oh, you are right we did charge extra, well now its fixed. Not even an apology just plain bad attitude he had to talk.Also, when I signed the rental agreement and it said they will hold $318 on my credit card they ended up holding over $600. That also happened now both times I rented from them within a year. People need to look at their records and creditcard statements to make sure they are charged correctly and not overcharged, because hertz will not do it for you, they just charge. The better buisness bureau should look into their practice.
