Robert was my designer who designed my new kitchen. He was so patient and knowledgeable during the processes. I had been shopping for awhile looking for an affordable and good service to redo my kitchen. When I walked into the store for the first time, I was greeted by Robert. I asked him frankly could I do my kitchen for $$$$ money and he said sure. Other stores acted like I had two heads when I asked the same question. He made me feel comfortable with my decision. I am so happy with my new kitchen 👍

HORRIBLE experience. Ive grown up in Manchester....spent over 45 years here. Passed Modern Kitchen & Baths hundreds of times. They were my first pick to give my business to so I could stay local. NEVER AGAIN! I had to bring my own sketch and measurements to the first meeting for our kitchen remodel. Salesman (Robert) picked at our measurements and drawing. Then, without even looking at the kitchen, he shut us down when our budget wasnt high enough for him. Not even willing to work w/ the amount we wanted to spend. He didnt come to our home to look at our kitchen, take measurements and see if there is anything he could do for us. He even asked if we wanted THEM to install the cabinets or if we are going to do it ourself!?? If your budget isnt in the $30,000+ figure, dont even bother trying this company. Terrible experience. Sorry we wasted your time Robert.

Tracy F at Modern Kitchens is an excellent designer. Turned a minimalistic kitchen into a highly functional masterpiece. Stands behind the products to make sure any snags or mishaps are handled quickly.

We had them renovate our 1.5 baths. I liked that we had a project manager throughout the whole process. When I had a question, I had one person to call. I didnt have to call the salesperson about one thing but the installer about something else, which was very nice. They were accommodating, made it all easy, and the installers did an excellent job. I would recommend and would certainly use them again myself.

Staff very friendly and accommodating! They have the latest products and trends in kitchen and Bath remodels. Neat and Experienced craftsmen. I had them do 2 projects that turned out beautifully and they will be starting a third project in a few weeks!! I highly recommend this company!!

Avoid this group - very poor job, comedy of errorsSimple bathroom job, took almost a month. They tore it down three time due to egregious mistakes in workmanship. Switched crews do to poor performance. Broke tiles on installing door, extremely poor paint job, and dry wall patching, lost medicine cabinet, didnt even sand their patches before painting.. Poor grout job, poor caulking, scared my existing vanity top. Dirty work sites, scared walls, threw their trash tile cuttings and waste water on my neighbors shrubs, stored their tools in my sink which was scratched. Even the simplest jobs seemed beyond their ability. Parts they sold didnt match and they were unaware of what to do. Shower leaks water on the floor do to poor design. I ended up asking them to leave. You do not want these guys in your house.

Modern Kitchens totally redid our kitchen in 2016. From starting from scratch with a design to the finished product Tracy was very hands on and made our kitchen come back to life. Even two years past the completion Tracy came out fixed a couple minor issues. We are very happy with the work. Thanks.

The salesmen here will impress you with their detail oriented kitchens and baths! Very unique designs and they put in effort to create the customers fantasy kitchen/bath. Family owned business so they have time to really focus on the customers needs.

I had my bathroom remodeled in 2015. The personal attention we recieved from Mike Dupree helping us pick the products we chose to use was the best part. I will most always recommend your company to others as I have referred many people here. If youre stuck between Modern and another company, the answer is MODERN! I heard about Modern Kitchens and Baths from driving by it on Manchester Road often. It is definetly worth a stop inside if you havent checked it out. The personal attention you get from the designers and salesmen here is what makes Modern so special. Every single designer will sit with you and take their time picking out the kitchen or bathroom of your dreams.

We are in the process of obtaining quotes for a hall bathroom remodel and had narrowed down our options to 3 companies, including Modern.When we initiated the call, they let us know that they require 50% of the total estimate to order supplies, 40% to schedule the work with the 10% due upon completion. I was not wild about that given a recent review stated how many times they had to restart. With only 10% remaining due, that leaves the consumer with very little leverage should something go awry.But we opted to do an initial consultation and we really had a great experience sitting down with them and going over options. After picking out our options, our sales rep called later in the week to let me know the bid. It sounded a couple thousand cheaper than our other two bids at this point and because we liked our sales rep, we were ready to move forward. I just asked him to provide a written estimate so I could look over the fine print of what all would be included, especially since this job would require tearing down plaster walls and replacing with drywall. When I did not receive the estimate, I called and asked a 2nd time and a 3rd time. Each time he said it was ready and wanted to know when we could come in and look it over. Each time I told him I wanted to see it in advance so I knew what questions to be prepared with and ensure we were both on the same page. Both times I told him that barring something major being off in the estimate, we were prepared to put our 50% deposit in.Finally after the 3rd time I asked why he has not provided the written estimate (like every other company) and he sent a very long winded email how their company policy prevented it. How others had leveraged that info to get a better price, etc. They were already the better price for us (possibly, I only had a raw number but no details) and I had no interest in shopping out his information. I even told him that if his price was within 10% of the other bids, we were planning on going with them. Even though I did not like the fact that 90% was due before they even stepped foot into our house.As someone in sales, I felt the excuse was a load of BS. Not being able to read through the fine print in advance just screams of shady business practices and when you combine it with the 90% due up front, the lack of transparency when I asked for the written estimate 3 times, we walked away.Just know going in what to expect. I wasnt comfortable with that type of business practice.
