First time going here and I had a pleasant experience..All of the gentleman that worked on my car were absolutely wonderful...Will continue to go here for maintenance on my car!!

I like to go here for a oil change. Its fast and easy. They also check other things of your car so when you leave you know that your car is fine for a road trip.

Fast and easy service the technicians were courteous they did quick light inspection. 15 minutes I was out .

Not very pleasant experience unlike last times. The person was rude.

We received a $20 coupon towards an oil change. We expected to sit in the waiting area for about 45-60 mins as we usually do at Honda Koons. Upon arrival, Richard aka Brent, approached us and answered our questions. We were impressed by the entire process. We stayed inside the vehicle while they worked their magic outside. Meanwhile, Brent used the large monitor to share the systems options and recommendations for what we needed. One tech showed us new clear oil using the engine stick while another tech pumped air in the tires. We were out of there in less than 20 mins. Would have been less than 15 if we hadnt done a thorough review of the recommendations. Overall, impressive and fast. Will come here again.

Took over an hour to get the oil changed in my car on a Sunday afternoon in the summer. Service was very slow. I’ve never waited this long in line or had my oil change take this long at any other valoline location. I will never come back to this location.

When here to service my vehicle, waited 30 min outside no one cared to asked what i needed called 1800 number they called store no answer either, got out knocked on door to find Mananger in the store sitting down saying i cant open till 10 my co-worker had a accident thats fine but out a sign up so people can know whats going on, so i left told the lady next to me what was going on.If your gonna run a business know to be able to communicate with your customers place a sign so they know the situation, completely unprofessional, went to jiffy lube no problem, there.

Just had a great experience here at Valvoline. I went during lunchtime and there was no wait. Sophia and Andre helped me and they were both friendly and efficient. I will definitely return. Thank you!

Great service, very friendly and experienced staff. I was driving to different town and in the middle i had to get instant oil change service. I was reluctant due to the are but now leaving 5+ star review only because of Nik. He made my experience wonderful by explaining me what’s going on with car, what needs to be done and what should be done in next 6-12 months. He also gave me discount on my service. I would love to stop by again and bring donuts for them 😊

I went into get an oil change on my car.After the service was completed, I drove off and 25 minutes later the check engine light turned on. Apparently, they forgot to close the air intake properly. So, I popped the hood and closed it myself and the check engine light wouldnt turn off. I called the shop and they told me to bring the car back. I drove all the way back to their shop and because of that inconvenience,my plans were ruined for the day. When I got there, the district manager,Rich Ward, was there. I explained to him, because of their careless way they serviced on my vehicle, my plans for the day was ruined. When I explained to him my frustration, he didnt even seem like he was listening to me, I felt like he was rude, dissmissive and unprofessional.After clarifying my frustrations, they were able to fix my situation but it was done inconveniently and felt forced. Customer service was lacking and I did not feel valued.

Love being so close to this center, they do quick oil changes, the team is very profficient and professional! I recommend them to everyone!

First visit was pretty good. Second visit I got up early on my day off to get an oil change and its supposed to open at 7:30. It was 7:50 when i decided to take my business elsewhere. Still not open . Open on time. 101 of running a business.

So first time there and the lady was very informative on what was going on as they were doing it the oil change and made sure I made it to chantilly on time. You all have a loyal customer will be coming back.

Took about 35 min to get in the bay, for a total of over an hour for service from pull in to pull out. The people were friendly.

The service has always been good even though the staff constantly changes. They print out recommendations but never push it and my vehicle service history is there so I can easy compare with my regular mechanic as not to duplicate services.

Went in for an oil change. I went to start the car after leaving the shop, and heard a knock under the hood. I check it out, and the air filter is just sitting on top of the engine, and the plastic air filter holder is bouncing around. This shows they do not take their time. Makes you wonder what else did they miss.

My hood was stuck and wouldn’t open all the way or close. I had spent the evening driving around to a couple different places to try to get help. As soon as I got to Valvoline on Sudley, The manager, Andre, fixed it in literally 1 minute without any issues and for no charge. Saved my night! Thank you!

I hate to write bad reviews but I have to in this case. I arrived at 1:00pm to get a state inspection. I noticed the gate was down for the shop and asked the cashier, were they still doing inspections. He replied “I don’t know, knock on the garage door and see.” I thought that was weird but I did it anyways. When the guy opens the garage, he tells me the state inspector and he insured me to come back in 25 min because he was on his lunch break. I re-arrive at 1:30 and sit in my car in front of the garage for 15 min until I re-knocked in the garage door. The guy (the first guy I mentioned in the shop), informed me that the inspector is doing paperwork and to come back tomorrow. So, I guess it takes and hour to do the paperwork; which I’m sure isn’t the case. Neither one of the guys were doing any work in the garage. I expressed my frustration and he didn’t have a solution, so now I’m at Manassas Auto and Tire getting 5 star service!

Really fast service. It took less than 10 mins to get an oil change done. It usually takes 45mns to an 1 1/2 hrs in other places.

So I hate going to get my oil change because the men who usually do it can be a bit intimidating and sometimes can be really rude and dismissive. I went this morning and was surprised to see two women doing the oil change. They were really cool and polite and very informative. I will definitely come again to get my oil change at the sudley location. They were helpful, because they showed me where the hood lever was located ( Bought the car didnt know where it was). I hope these two ladies will continue to work there. 5 stars to the 2 ladiesAlso very quick.

Im regular customer of jiffy lube but for change went to velvoline not againThe technician didnt knew how to reset the life of oil in newer car just rushed me out no vacuum, no glass cleaning definitely not going back there

Valvoline is a little pricey but worth every cent I paid. Quick, friendly and professional. I feel like myself and my car are in good hands.

Theyre quick and you dont have to leave the car. Auto maintenance is expensive anywhere you go but at least it doesnt cost you a lot of time.

It wasnt super busy when i went there, and it seemed to have a decent flow of cars coming in. Definitely super friendly staff. And the option to stay in your vehicle as they do the work is awesome. Just not too crazy about the price for an oil change.

Way too expensive. I told the service man that I wanted regular oil 5- 20.He would only offer synthetic oil. I left and went to Jiffy Lube. Great service there

The first time I went here, I had a great oil change, they were friendly and very fast. However, this time that I went, I had a HORRIBLE experience. The man there kept telling me what I needed to get done, like I didn’t know my own car, and kept telling me what had to happen that day. I told him repeatedly that I was just there for an oil change, but he already had new filters and such ready to go for my car before I even agreed to it. I paid double what I was expecting because he did not listen to what I wanted, which is just horrendous customer service. I get wanting to sell products, but he didn’t even give me a chance to say no. He was a bully and I will make sure to never come back here.

Friendly and Courteous service from the 2 Men there. I pulled up and was immediately directed to a bay. I was SO EXCITED that this location was one that allowed me to stay in my vehicle. I was in and driving out in less than 20mins. Phenomenal for I am visiting here and I had more time for this purpose.

Went for an oil change. Paid way too much for it and they got oil all over the under side of my truck. After I got the oil change I went to do work on my truck a month or so later, then I realized one of my skid plate bolts were missing and another was cross threaded.... I wish they would of told me they messed up. Now I know why I do my own work on my truck.

Nice, fast, professional, friendly service. They were honest and reasonable, but yes, they will recommend every service your mileage recommends. They will offer new blades and air filters, just know what you want/need before you pull in. Say, no thank you, and move on. Even McDonalds asks if you want a drink with that?My wife and I had a 1 year old and a 3.5 year old in the back the whole time. No foul talk from the employees and never had to get them out. Perfect for us.

Ive been going to Valvoline for years. They have worked on my vehicle exclusively... and there is oil residue all over the top of my engine and missing tire valve stem caps. They push for services that honest mechanics wouldnt even suggest. Prices are horrendous and the only thing you get is convenience.

I went for oil change with online coupon which I verified with customer service. My coupon was not able to be scanned at Valvoline. I called customer service to complain and was issued a NEW coupon which was gladly accepted. It took two trips to get my oil changed. Oh well...I hope this isnt the future for this company.

I sent in a customer survey with a complaint and received a call from the manager offering me the service and a discount that I missed because they didnt have the fluid I needed. Very few people follow up and offer a service and a discount. I will go back again and again.

Went there at 3pm on Wednesday. A young tech greated me and asked what I need. I stated that I need quick oil change with my own oil and filter. He said labor $40. Then I asked how much you charge with your own oil. The replied $95. I said good bye crook.

In and out... Outstanding service

I waited an hour in line. Finally one of the techs waved me up to one of the 3 bays. The bay in front of me finished up so Im next right? Wrong they move me to another bay! Ok no big deal I can wait a few more minutes. The guy in the bay in front of me is done. Again I expect that it is my turn to receive my service, surely since they have moved me. Right? Wrong the manager came out to me and told me that he wants to move me to a 3rd bay!Bounce me around from one bay to another. I just left. Im usually easy to please, and I am typically patient but this crossed the line.

Small town vibes that welcome you home, I don’t give 5 stars unless I’m wowed and I was wowed here with the care and attention to detail. Escape the dc area for a down to earth vibe 50 minutes away from millenniums with beards and man buns with skinny jeans complaining about their faux gluten allergies.

The staff is super nice and they tell you what theyre about to do as you get the service done. I got the oil changed and they checked that all my lights were good and checked the tire pressure as well while you stay in your car. They made it qiuck, I definitely recommend.

UPDATE:4 months ago, I visited this store and received a call from the regional or district manager about resolving this. The manager of the location, who said he would get a replacement part for my car (that he broke), never did get that or back to me about it.Orignal post:This is about competency and ownership. Everything seemed fine at first, then the manager himself came around to the passenger side of my vehicle to look at my cabin air filter (which you should just avoid entirelly because its over priced and you can do it yourself), after he got to the cabin air filter, he broke the string/leash that holds the glove box in place and did not say anything about it as i watched all my belongings spill onto the floor.This was after he yanked the cabin air filter out and put it back in mangled. after that, he tried selling me other services without acknowledging what hed done, even though he knew darn well what just happened. I could tell by the awkwardness emanating from the situation, especially when i just had it with what was happening and opened the glove box examining what he did. He said he would send a replacement. I really doubt that.I then watched one of his associates pour water all over my engine because he said that transmission fluid splashed back out onto the engine when he was filling it and apparently spilled transmission fluid everywhere.3 things- 1. he did not apologize about it, 2. for all I know he could have poured cold water on a hot engine, which obviously is not smart and can crack an engine, and 3. for it to splash back means he overfilled the transmission fluid reservoir (again, obviously not good for my car).Personally, I dont like people trying to cover things up or just not acknowledging what happened. I will not be going there again.Also, found out that the cover to my cabin air filter was also broken while the manager removed it. I was going to give this 2 stars, but rethinking what happened, this is just not acceptable.

Oil change was quick in its self however they must of nicked a hose because my transmission fluid was gone by the time I got in my car the next morning. I feel like they were not sure initially where everything was underneath my car because it is a 94 Toyota 4runner. Needless to say I dont recommend these people to anyone.

Usually quick, informative and thorough. The professionalism of the staff is a complete crapshoot. Maybe they think its okay to drop the f* bomb 4 or 5 times while making small talk with me but it is off putting.

Typing as I sit on the side of 66 as my daughter who left the shop after an oil change about 20 mins ago, now has a disabled vehicle with all of the oil out of her car!!!!!!!! She and my grandson on the side of 66 during evening rush hour!!!!She tried to call them and they kept hanging up the phone. I wish I could post a picture of al the oil on the cement!!!!! Car is done for!!!!!

Incompetence at its finest. 3 employees couldn’t change a head light. Claimed to have put windshield wiper fluid, didn’t even do that. Still amazed how THREE “trained” employees couldn’t change a single headlight and still claimed and assured me they added the windshield wiper fluid. Waste of time and true show of what kind of employees they have. Inexperienced/dishonest.
