Ill make it simple: if you want an ok feeling car go to you mom and pop shop. if you want your car almost feeling like new and completely healthy, go to PTUNING. They definitely treat every car Ive seen so far even mine like youre going to compete in it like racing against other vehicles or simple lap times you want to accomplish on track. From 1st visit theyve given exceptional advice that I havent gotten in my area at all. Without a doubt they speak the language of cars. Ive had tune up as in mandatory maintenance everyone should do on their cars like transmission fluid change, coolant flushing, new tires installed, alignments, a full suspension overhaul. I dont put this lightly when I say this and not trying to make it dramatic either like some ad commercial but they truly have saved my life with their recommendations and even saved me money.Unbeknownst to me, even asking the dealership to make sure Im not buying a broken car performing all the checks if they want me to jump into a loan right now and take the car they were trying to sell me off the lot here and now, I bought a broken 2010 Mazda 3 GT hatch. Pat who I communicate primarily with during my visits there leveled with me and made sure that I should know Im in a dangerous car and that I need to be reimbursed. They shouldve been aware of the original owner(s) mods on the car that made it unsafe when it came to the suspension. Pat made sure to take care of me and give me competent advice on the next course of actions I should take with the car which Ive done accordingly I believe. And this was all done for me for a reasonable premium price for parts and labor. Yes PTUNING takes car care to the max. I stand by them completely.

It is truly wonderful to do business with a shop like this. Niko was very professional and its obvious that everyone there loves cars and what they do. The pricing they quoted me was reasonable for the work being done. Many of the shops I contacted tried to charge a crazy EV tax to work on my car.Recently they did coilovers, rear camber arms and spacers on my 2021 Tesla model Y. They took the extra time to show me how things were installed and how to make adjustments to the system.I drove 60 miles to get to the shop from MD and they were very accommodating to me spending the day working from the lobby while the work was done. Ill be back again for any major upgrades!

Probably the most professional, premium, and no-nonsense speed shop around the DMV if not the the east coast. Extremely capable and competent. They are willing to work with outside aftermarket parts and can properly redo shoddy and poor work from other shops. If youre particular about following installation/maintenance instructions to a T and want your fasteners tightened to the exact torque specs, this is the place to go. Quality comes at a cost but if I could go back to square one with my build, I wouldnt have tried to save money elsewhere and instead had the work done here first. Buy once, cry once.

By far one of the best mechanics I have ever had work on my car. Not only are they trust worthy and do not include hidden fees after the service but they also do not base the job on the car you have. I own a 2021 Supra and up until I found them, every place was asking double for the work I needed done. Soon as I spoke with Pat and he quoted me a price, I thought it was to good to be true. I am truly thankful I tried them out the quality of work is untouchable and now I have taken my car there multiple times for different performance mods and couldnt be happier, they will be the only one I allow to work on my car because they have earned my business and respect as good business owners. If you truly care for your car and wallet, I suggest you check them out no matter the car you drive be it a sports car or a grocery getter. They will do right by you.

Ptuning has got my business! Niko was extremely helpful throughout the entire process of my s280 turbo install, downpipe, mishimoto radiator and dyno tune on my 2016 fiesta st! I received updates the entire time my car was at the shop and everything went extremely smooth. The car absolutely rips! I’m having so much fun driving it and can’t believe how nice and smooth it feels. I’m also amazed at how well the traction control works now! I don’t know what exactly was done for that but I have played with the settings in the past on my stock turbo and couldn’t get it to take off that well without spinning bad! Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. Due to a lack of a front tow bolt and an unwillingness to drill my bumper, I needed a custom plate bracket fabricated which would mount to the radiator tie-down bolt. They had it cut, painted, mounted and leveled in about two hours.

About 6 weeks ago I had dropped my Focus ST off at PTuning to get some much needed work done. The work included a new clutch, flywheel resurfacing, new slave cylinder, LSD, wheel and tire balance, and a corner balance. I worked with Tom who is very well versed in automobiles, such as everyone in the shop. We had bounced back ideas (I mostly listened) and we ultimately came up with a game plan. I had dropped my car off and knew it was in good hands. I was hoping it would be done in a week, but the job ended up taking a month. HERES WHY. I dont have the know how for all things automotive. I forgot to purchase some items to install the LSD, the clutch that I wanted installed was having issues with overextending (which Tom warned me about) causing the car to move forward and reverse with the clutch in, there were leaks everywhere on the engine, and I was losing compression in one of my cylinders. Every one of those things I listed came up one at a time every few days, but Tom was very punctual with updating me on what could be done to fix it. I didnt feel like I was being robbed of money, after all the car has a fully built motor, I track it occasionally, and it is my daily. They ultimately got it all fixed, seals were redone, the clutch issue was fixed, an injector cleaning was done for my peace of mind and the LSD was installed with no issues. I was actually glad it took a little longer than expected because now I feel better that the car has been inspected thoroughly before I have any catastrophic failures. Also, they have other projects they were working on so I totally understood that my car couldnt be worked on day in a day out. They got it done and I am thankful.The last shop I took my car to had it for 6 months and it was parked on a busy street. The paint was damaged and I went through 2 engines with them. They ended up fixing my car when one of their shop cars was totaled by another car on the same street my car was parked on. The install took 2 days....Please remember that this is a quality shop that wants you to enjoy your car to its fullest potential. Please dont be afraid to bring your business here, your vehicle is in good hands!

I had an intake, exhaust and flashpro installed at the shop. First two installs went well, but the tune has not. I called backed for assistance because the car was acting weird and its been 2-3 wks and Im still waiting....... 01/21.... everything is working fine after revisiting the shop and more goodies installed to perfection...thank you!

Great company the first time I scheduled an appointment with them. Second time around I am unsure what changed, but the recent workmanship, honesty and overall customer experience is extremely disappointing. My advice if you chose to utilize PTuning for their services, is to verify their work before leaving the property.

Went to Ptuning to get an alignment on my 2018 sti, they told me it was dialed in, but it was honestly trash and leaned to the right and even made my car start vibrating at over 80mph

PTuning. Concise. Professional. Great Customer Service.My journey with PTuning started a little over a year ago when I came in for an emergency alignment (on a Saturday). While aligning the car, they went out of their way to notify me and show me on the shop floor some issues with my brakes.Ken made small talk and showed me everything I needed to know about Megasquirt and why my car was running poorly. For two hours, on his own time and at no charge, he tweaked some things which helped. He was enthusiastic about the tuning process to the point where I felt comfortable bringing the car in for a retune.While the car sat in their possession, I was given updates and benchmarks via email quickly and professionally. They did everything from a leakdown test before tune, to smoothing out idle and other small drivability issues like ironing out the load dip when fans kick on. I picked up 70whp and a year later, its still running strong.I decided to change intercooler setups and they worked with me on getting an intercooler developed and charge piping routed just how I wanted. I have to admit, this cost a lot, labor rates for fab is not cheap here, but their attention to detail and professionalism earned my business repeatedly.Every shop will have a horror story, but being new to the area and not knowing a lot of folks, they won me over pretty quickly as being reliable.Unless something changes in my experiences, I will not hesitate to contact PTuning for services and custom work and tuning. I say this having been to SEVERAL reputable Miata shops in the area. I have horror stories about those places, but my record with PTuning has gone untarnished.

I’ve got an S550 mustang with an entire new suspension and chassis upgrade. Needed an alignment before i hit the track. The original shop (no name drops) said they do performance alignments but was unable to get me a performance alignment. Encause their software in the machine was out of date. Gave PTuning a call and they had me in the next morning and back on the track that evening. Car performed better than I expected. Grip for days and puts the power down with no uncertainty or rear end wiggle. Their alignment recommendation was spot on. Guess I found my new shop for all future tune ups.

Ive had my supercharged S2000 tuned by PTuning twice over the years (at two different boost levels) and was always extremely satisfied with the work - the car drove and idled just like stock with a ton more power. I was so happy with their work that when I wanted more power I decided to purchase their S2000 turbo kit - the GTX3076 with the recirculating dump tube. I installed the kit myself over the spring and had it re-tuned on 93 octane, making 443whp/324tq at only about 14psi of boost! The car still drives very smoothly and pulls hard at any RPM above about 3500 all the way to redline, still idling perfectly and getting near stock fuel economy when I keep my foot out of it.I like to work on my own car, and whenever I had a question about the install or kit I would reach out to Tom, who was responsive and offered great advice. I had some minor issues with the way I installed the kit at first and that prevented Toan from being able to complete my tune during the first appointment. They worked with me, both correcting some issues on the dyno themselves and letting me come back at a later time to finish up once I corrected another install mistake I made.HUGE thanks to Tom and Toan for helping me get the car to where it is right now! Their S2000 kit and tuning may be on the pricey side compared to other local shops, but 100% worth the quality parts, work, and support that they provide. I recommend this shop to anyone - especially their tuning services if you have an S2000!!

P-Tuning did a great job with a custom four wheel alignment that normal shops wont touch since it outside of factory settings. Great shop and great staff.

Having called around and talked with multiple tuning shops PTuning has been the most professional and courteous with me. While my car was not able to get in and out for my tuning session without incident (nothing that was due to any negligence on their end) they were always prompt with a phone call to keep me up to date on the latest development, provide me with options to fix the problem, and listened to what my goals were and how I wanted to proceed. It may be possible to shop around and find work done for cheaper, but for the customer service I was given and the quality of the work done, they are well worth the money. A classic example of you get what you pay for. Even though they are not local to me at all I want them to be the ones to handle any future needs I have.While this review is primarily of their facilities and service I am also a owner of their turbo kit for the Subaru BRZ/Scion FRS/Toyota 86. The quality of the kit is excellent, not just in the craftsmanship of the product but the thought that went into its design.

Drive an hour get to this place when we had checked online for a turbo we were looking for. We get there and the guy who was at the front said, no we dont do that for your car. We did our research before coming there. Sucks that we took time to come out there for nothing.

I needed to dyno tune my Miata. Called them up on Monday, and they had me on the machine on Thursday! Tech spent the whole day on it due to a couple things that werent their fault, and I drove away with an additional 80 wheel horsepower! Everyone there was friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely be bringing my business to them in the future.

Went in for an Alignment and Corner Balance. Techs and front desk were very friendly but the car felt wobbly once in awhile after I left the shop. It never felt that way before. I took it back and they found two bolts loose on the front control arm. First, how can they align my suspension if the bolts were loose? Second, they charged me for the mistake they made and told me to pay for another alignment. Third, my car was never wobbly before taking it to them. I checked all my bolts after this and found the rear tie rod loose as well. Ill never go back to PTuning.

Great service! My 2008 Subaru WRX STI was running slow and the dealership could not help me because the car had aftermarket mods. Pat and the team diagnosed the issue and provided by email a detailed explanation of the repairs needed along with various photos to show the parts that needed replacement. They also identified and fixed another issue with the exhaust, and now the car runs quieter. I wasn’t familiar with the mechanical issues involved and they did a good job answering my questions. And most importantly, they fixed my car and now it’s running as well as it ever has. Highly recommended shop!

Clueless on domestics. Unprofessional. Was lied to repeatedly while they had my car for almost 2 years on a easy job that was only supposed to be a couple months tops. They had to have another company finish the job and that company told me that the car was done wrong from the start which is why they could not get it running correctly. Waste of $10k and 2 years of my life.

A bit expensive but the job is done right every time. They do one of the best alingment. If you autocross, you ought to visit them as they will set your car to its peak performance.

Had a engine replaced their, They left my oil pressure sending unit undone dangling by the wires drove 1hr in and cel came on next I call they say bring it back. So I pull over and find it and fix it on the side of the road and reset the light.Drove two more hours and I start hearing a tap only at higher rpm’s so now I’m almost home and I could swear it’s he timing chain theirs nothing else it could be.I proceeded to call the shop again to let them know what’s up and I’m told by multiple people that theirs no way it’s the timing chain slapping the value cover and I repeat that’s what it is and I can’t pay to tow the car back up their after I just picked it up and I’d expect the car to be squared away. So I’m told to call back when someone else is at the shop to try and get it resolved and I get the same story theirs no way the engine we sold you is bad and no way the chain can stretch or guides can be worn and we can’t do anything to fix the issue.After seeing reviews I chose to fix it myself by replacing the chain and guides and my car was fixed no more loud chain slapping the value cover potentially jumping timing being that damn loose. I can’t stand people not owning up to their faults and screwups and the shop never made it right nor cared to. Sending videos and all they never cared and didn’t respond so I just gave up.

Guys @ the shop were lifesavers. Driving back to CT from 2 days @ VIR, I blew a transmission line on Route 29 just short of 66. After getting jerked around by the AAA shop the tow truck took me too initially, I got a 2nd tow to P-Tuning. On a Saturday afternoon @ 3pm, they were kind enough to work on the car immediately so I could get back to CT for surgery on Monday morning. You cant ask for anything more. Justin, Chris and Harry were all class acts. Honest too. Tried to give them a generous tip and they wouldnt have it. Race guys are like that. Just glad to help. Hope I get a chance to return the favor but if I dont I will pass it forward and help the next track guy in need.

Took my Subaru for clutch replacement. Ran into an issue with missing bushing, but Abel was able to take care of it for me. Pricing was reasonable as well.

Got a custom tune done for my miata and they sent the dyno sheets via email almost instantly after they finished the tune. Patrick also emailed me to let me know what was going on and how the car was doing on the dyno. He waived multiple fees that normally would be charged. They aren’t out to get your money, they are an honest shop. I am very very happy with how the tune came out!

I wanted custom suspension installed on my BMW, so I contacted PTuning. Nathan gave me a quote for labor and stated they would customize the settings to my liking. We went over the specifics of what adjustments to make during the install as well as the alignment parameters. When picking up the car, I was more than pleased - the adjustments were just as I had specified. The handling now feels excellent. I really like how this shop allows the vehicle owner to inspect & set the steering wheel position prior to finalizing a 4 wheel alignment. Everywhere else doesnt let you this and then you drive away with the steering wheel off center when driving straight. Ill always bring my car for alignment here as long as they keep letting me see the steering wheel setting.Thanks PTuning!

Ptuning offers great customer service, quick next day shipping on parts. Laid back shop with a couch and tv while you’re waiting for your car.When you walk into the shop it feels like youre in a performance shop rather then a boring dealership or just some generic parts store. Customer friendly is a better way to put it. Patrick and harry are both informative and have both helped me on my project. So go to them if you need anything.Must warn you, I don’t always agree with the price since I work at a shop too, however when I leave Ptuning I am happy with my investment. Maybe just maybe one day their prices will be a bit more competitive and friendly for customers.With every good review I must be completely honest. I had trouble with my side markers on my car in the past and they promised to troubleshoot the issue but instead Of taking off my side markers and putting it back on they just threw some double sided tape and jammed it in there and charged me 60 bucks for it rather then trying to get the clips to click into my bumper. I didn’t say too much about it because I knew that shop was better then that and I couldn’t let one bad experience stop me from going to a place that have only treated me well.

Super happy with the alignment I got at PTuning. I have a Chevy SS and took it to Firestone first. They gave a sloppy toe alignment and told me the Camber was not adjustable (it is) and wouldnt listen to me. On the flip, PTuning went out of their way to adjust the toe and camber on the SS to my specifications and put it right on the nose. I could tell things were right very quickly when I went to drive it. Great experience and worth the long drive!

Went in for tuning on my NA 370z. Tuning was done with EcuTek and its a night and day difference. Feels like i have a brand new car and im putting down more reliable power than ever before. Staff was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable plus it is awesome to check out what projects they are working on in the back. My brother will bring his S4 up here for some custom exhaust and fabrication work and ill bring my 370z back for boost next year.
