Matthew was very nice and the studio was beautiful, but he did not cut my hair the way I asked at all. I brought a picture and had a specific length and style I wanted and he cut way more off and thinned out my hair a lot. It did not look like the picture at all or what I asked for. It changed my face shape completely. If u go give very specific directions and ask that he doesn’t stray from them.

I am in Madison only temporarily but needed a cut and liked the reviews for Wicked Beauty. Thanks, other reviewers for steering me to this salon. Victoria took her time, gave me a great haircut, and treated me like a long-time client even though I am likely in the area only this one time. In terms of COVID awareness, the salon was spotless. I was asked to sanitize my hands, which I appreciated. Of course we were masked the entire time. Thank you, Victoria and I hope we cross paths again.

I was nervous about switching salons, but Matthew put me right at ease when he spent several minutes talking to me about my hair before he even touched it! That is the best indicator of a true stylist. He was so considerate and thorough, not one detail about my head was overlooked, we even talked about the health of my scalp. Everything was fantastic, the wash, the cut the style, the conversation, everything! I only wish my hair would grow faster so I could go back sooner!

Victoria does a beautiful job cutting my hair. She actually consults with you on what works with your hair and how you want it to look. She pays attention to how much time you do (or dont) want to spend on your hair. I appreciate her Sunday appointments, as they are very relaxing!

Im a dude, and I dont usually go in for fancy salon haircuts, but I figured since my haircut is something that I always have with me I should probably spend a little more money on it. I tried some places on state street first and then Blue and I was a little disappointed each time. Finally I tried Wicked and I really liked it. Matthew was super friendly and took my hair cut way more seriously than I ever have. It turned out better than I thought possible, and now I always get my hair cut here. I like how hes the owner and only worker too. Small independent business and all that.
