Stopped in there for the first time the other day and am so glad I did, I love my nails. She took really good care of my actual nails before these which I appreciated. I would recommend making an appointment though because its a cute little shop with great employees. Over by Princeton East.

I had never been to this place before. I walked in and asked if they take walk-ins. The woman was very welcoming, and said I could get in right away. I had Kathy (SP?) and she was very good at what she did, and did a great job. I definitely will be back. It was much more welcoming than blush nails!! Thank you !! Very friendly!

(ACRYLICS W DESIGN) VN nails is awesome! i gave them a picture i found on pinterest and my guy recreated it perfectly on top of quality laid acrylics with perfect shapes and apexes. BETTER THAN: paradise nails, fancy nails, nails 4 U, 4K, laquerus, and any other place i’ve gone in 5 years of living in madison. if you’re downtown and can uber here DO it. it’s better than any downtown salon for acrylics, designs, PRICE, and service, BY FAR. what would have cost me $100+ elsewhere cost $60 here and the set came out perfect, nothing fell off, the shapes weren’t awkward or wonky. i only have one pic from the bar sorry! trust they were good tho.

Best shellac manicure I’ve ever had and super friendly staff. Took me for a walk-in 20 minutes before closing. Manicure was professional and efficient and my shellac has last 2+weeks

Im traveling and needed sns powder dip nails and a matching gel pedicure. All I wanted was a light pink matching color. Sounds simple right ? They couldnt even provide matching options for a light pink !!! I had to leave there and go to another salon just to get my nails painted. And to make it worse all they did was offer a $5 discount for the inconvenience. I do not recommend this place. 👎👎👎👎👎

I asked for a natural nail with an overlay of dipping powder and it turned out amazing! She was able to fix my nails from a previous shop and really took her time to perfect them. Would recommend!

My daughter and I went here pedicures on a whim. The main lady was quite cranky. The two manicurists that helped us were quite pleasant and made up for it. I got a great pedi while my daughters was just soso.

Comfortable and clean setting. The gentleman man that did my nails took his time, listen to me and made sure I was happy. Definitely coming back!

This place was wonderful! The people were super nice! Although the price for a pedicure was a little higher than I was used to, it was well worth it for the attention paid to my feet and the time spent there, which, compared to other salons, seemed to be longer at VN Nails. I will be going back!

Best pedicures in Madison hands down. I absolutely love the cheese grater thing to exfoliate my feet. All the staff is friendly and produce great quality nails

Jenny is amazing! These are the best acrylic nails I have EVER had!! She took time and care... Asked me my opinion which I loved! My nails look VERY natural! I just moved from out of state and took a leap of faith! Jenny will always have my business!! You cant go wrong here!!

I went here hoping to have a great experience based on the reviews. I will say, I had a great pedicure which is why Im not providing a one star review... but I had the worst manicure of my life. It didnt even last a week, and the guy got gel all over my fingers. He cut my nails too short. I dont even know what he did right. I told him I was coming in because I needed to maintain my nails for my wedding that was coming up in less than two weeks, and he did more damage to my nails than if I just left them alone. I do not recommend.

The nail tech was very attentive, very patient and did a great job. I wanted a design on my nails and I let her freestyle and do what she wanted and it turned out great..... I do not remember her name but I do know that she was at table number 8

I’ve been going to VN Nails for close to 5 years now and have done just about every service they offered. Chan and her team are always the best!Their service, cleanliness and consistency stand above all of the other places I’ve tried.You may end up waiting a little longer if appointments run late, but that’s only because they are so accommodating to try and fit everyone in that asks to come. I do recommend to make an appointment if you want to guarantee your spot, but they do walk-ins as well.

I called to set up an appointment the lady was very rude I asked if she had an opening for tomorrow morning for a fill in which would have been on a Thursday she laughed and said she was tired of doing fill ins🤔 and so I even went as far as to ask her if she didn’t have an opening for Thursday did she have one for any day coming up she yells out and laughs again and says no we not doing any fill ins and hung up on me I’m glad I was not able to spend my money here very unprofessional if I was able to give a zero I would’ve

I went for gel dipped acrylics and they look horrible!! Half of the acrylics were put on crooked and weren’t fixed even when I brought it up. The rest of them were cut at a slant so they’re longer on one end than the other. Definitely don’t be going back

I would give them 5 stars, however, each time that I went in for service I was told that I had to come back. Then when I called I was told I did not need an appointment, but when I got there, I was told that I could not be serviced because there was no one available. When I was able to be serviced 3 people serviced me. Which could mean they wanted to get me in since I came back at the scheduled time or that they really wished I went somewhere else. I didnt know come back later was code for I dont want you here. Once I got a chance to get my nails done, the services were great. The technicians are polite and have great skills. The products they used are awesome and clean. They really keep your feet and hands healthy. I wish I took a picture of my nails because they were beautiful and the red and crystal bow that was added to one of my nails was a beautiful touch.Note: I had to get the gel nails removed because I had an allergic reaction to something that my doctor could not pinpoint. So we were eliminating one thing at a time to see what it could be. If we find the nails are not the issue, I AM GETTING MY NAILS DONE AGAIN. I cant wait!!!

Pedicure was decent. They are a little pricier but for did not provide anything different. Definitely a place to go on the fly.

Not worth the $$ nor your timeI came with my husband and I think it was the owner (a male) who worked on my “ice dancer” pedicure ($50). I did receive all the products but the pedicure was just bad. I didn’t get a massage that’s included;although he claims he did. Also, the wax that is included didn’t cover my foot. My toes and upper left foot didn’t have any wax. When I asked him if that was normal, he said he tried to cover my foot but that it isn’t always possible. How did he try, if he didn’t just add more wax? My husband has a much bigger foot than me and his foot was completely submerged in the wax. I asked how it’s possible for him and he asked if I wanted a massage- at this point, we were at the end of the pedicure my sandals on and about to polish my toes. I just wanted out of there. He told a woman that his technique is apparently bad and asked her to polish my toe nails. While she is polishing my toes, he continues to talk about how his technique is wrong in both English and what ever language is native to him.I have been getting pedis FOREVER! (10+ yrs)I’m not new to this and know what a deluxe pedicure is and this was definitely not it nor the place for it.

Best nail salon ever

Ive been to so many nail salons in madison but this is the only one I will come back to. They always get the nail shape perfect and do what I ask. Very accommodating and friendly. I live on west side but its worth the drive!

Got me in without an appointment. $15 for a manicure! Great deal (compared to what I have paid in D.C.) Yes, I get manicures occasionally. My lady appreciates her well groomed man.

The lady that did my pedicure made sure that the temperature wasnt too hot. On top of that the hot stone massage was a good touch to my pedicure. Definitely will be back!!!

Awesome customer service every time. The people are always friendly and do an awesome job on my acrylics. I have small nail beds (even when I havent bitten my nails) and they never fail to do a great job. Theyre very efficient while still doing high quality work.

The tech took her time and made sure my nails were perfect. There was tons of color choices. Usually gel/shellac only lasts me a week before peeling off, but I am on week 3 & they are still on! (Grown out of course) I will definitely be going back again.

Get what you pay for. Cheap manicure and pedicures but the products used are cheap and not as attentive customer care. Lotions severely dried my skin out, brushes for feet felt like a brush used on dishes, cuticles not cleaned up, and I was repeatedly left sitting for long periods of time in the middle of both pedicure and manicure. Massager chair is top of the line and shellac quality has held up really well.

Amazing! I will never go anywhere else to get my nails done. The people are great and so is the service! I drive 40 minutes just to have my nails done at vn and it is well worth it!

I had my nails done here a little after christmas. It was a little awkward.. This was the first salon Ive ever been to so it was a little offputting being asked by someone across a room what we wanted. The actual manicure was okay. She did a really good job cleaning and trimming the nails but the actual gel part didnt seem very good. I asked a friend at work what she thought since she gets her nails done regularly and she said they werent very good. As for cleanliness, it was a little disheveled looking. Definitely needs a makeover inside. I liked that it seemed well ventilated. Overall okay experience and I would probably go there again but I dont know if I would recommend them.

I work every day until 6pm, sped over to see about getting my nails done. Walked in at 6:15 and asked for a mani pedi and was told they couldn’t do it because they were going to close at 7. (I thought you could get services until closing time? )Would’ve gave them a HUGE tip if they took care of me. I just got the feeling they didn’t care whatsoever for their customers or even building clientele. Suuuuuper bummed.

I had gotten used to nails being inconsistent at my old salon. I tred VN on a whim because they are closer to work. Now, even on a day off, I will drive from Fitchburg to get work done rather than deal with the places around here. I have never, ever, ever had a bad nail job with them. Not once. Highly recommended.Clean, well lit, huge shellac selection, and they remember my color without my having to ask for it. $5 more than most places but its worth it.

Absolutely horrible service!! Called in advance for a Sunday appointment. Arrived and was told there was no way they could fit me in and they insisted I was wrong and must have called the wrong salon. I showed them I had called and they still denied I had an appointment and yirntu me away. Very disappointing!

After reading reviews decided to treat my daughter and myself for pedi and manis. We got the upgraded pedi for 40.00 and it was the best 10.00 extra ever! The service was amazing and we will be going back!

I got my nails done about a week before prom. After 3 days they started to fall off. The lady here asked how they looked and I didnt like the shape and she said it looked fine and did nothing to change it. I wouldnt recommend going here. Acrylics dont stay on and are done poorly.

Made an appointment for one manicure and two pedicures, we got to the place and the VERY rude lady tells us she cant take us!So because of HER broken English my niece cannot get her nails done for prom!Very unprofessional!!!!
