There is a decent selection of equipment available. peak times are 6-9am and 5-8pm. There are also showers available. The showers are large and private. It also includes free parking. The 10 and 2 come by frequently and nearby so you could take advantage of that if you needed. for a 12 month membership was about 400 with a student and paid in full discount. Check out the facility to see if it has what you want. It is open 24/7 and accessible with your little scanning plastic thingy you get when you sign up.
We stopped by here to work out while on vacation and it was perfect. Friendly staff that went out of their way to help us. Clean gym with everything your workout would need. Will be back when we come through town again.
I really enjoy the Princeton Club gyms and their Xpress options are great. A good balance of strength training machines, free weights, and cardio equipment. A total of 4 restrooms, with two having showers. The location is always very clean and organized. The staff is the best staff of all the locations Ive been to (not to say that the other locations have bad staff). If you are on the fence about joining or even just joining the Xpress locations only, it will be a great investment.
I like it a lot many things to do but is there any parking here
These Princeton Club Xpress locations are awesome! This one only gets docked a bit because it is a little more difficult to get in and out of (parking a block away or using the validated parking).Otherwise, the relatively limited selection of equipment is usually sufficient if I want to get a quick bike or weight machine workout.Usually, I just pop in to this location to use the ample bathrooms with their excellent steam showers. Ill clean up before heading to work on the west side or Middleton/Waunakee.
Edit: Ever since Judd took over operating this place, it has improved dramatically. Previously, it was gross, the staff wasnt friendly, and equipment had issues. Now, it is very clean, things are in order, and he is super friendly.
Not big enough to feel overwhelmed, yet small enough to use everything the gym offers. No classes are available but they do have a physical trainer on staff to help.Great place if you like to workout alone or with a friend.
Update: used to rate it 4 stars but lately it’s been horrible. I dont like working out when theres a lot of people and my work/school schedule is so messed up the only time I can workout is 3am. I normally have no issues & people start to slowly show up around 4:30/5. I used to like this gym a lot but lately it’s been really dirty, the cleaning room doors are wide open giving anyone access to the cameras, none of the steam showers work, the vent by the dumbbell area smells like dirty fish, and half the time when I go in the morning, I can’t even get in because the card reader is a POS and i end up going back home. If I’m waking up at 3am & taking preworkout before I come, I’m not going to be able to go back to sleep. Get yourself a reliable gym for way cheaper with better equipment for 1/2 the price.
Decent gym with lots of machines but no barbells. Good for the average gym goer.
I have been holding off on reviewing this Princeton club for a couple of years to see if they fixed their issues. But they got worse. The steam showers were broke, and they didnt even stock soap. They just recently got an ez curl bar. The club was decently clean but thats about the only positive other than the location.
Change rooms not the cleanest and the steam showers are all broke...one of the best features when I signed up a few years back...all 4 are now nonfunctional however my monthly fees never went down!
Clean, good location, large selection of workout equipment for an Express location.
Nice place for a quick workout. Have almost everything you need if you are not at a super advanced stage.
Clean, lots of equipments, friendly staff.
Everything that you really need or will use is there.
Its near to my home so i like the parking
Convenient and clean!
