I visited the car wash and purchased the premium interior and exterior package for $35. For that price you receive a interior and exterior wash and clean. The customer service was good. Friendly and nice staff. The exterior wash was good and it came out clean and dried clean. The interior was lack luster for lack of a better term. As you can see with the attached pictures. The the floor mats were not pulled out and cleaned or washed at all. There was pet hair and dust in common areas. Surfaces were not wiped down at all. The trash was not taken out of the side pockets. It was not worth the $35.

Sorry to say that today was my first and last time bringing my car here.I will say that all the staff was extremely nice. I chose the “Premium” wash for $34 and tipped 20% ahead of the wash. I was kind of shocked by the price but it had been a while and I figured it would be worth it. Learned the hard way - that $40 was for an interior vacuum (where plenty of crumbs, dirt, leaves, etc was ignored) a wipe of the dash but nothing else, and a run through an automatic exterior wash like at any gas station. I would have expected this job to run $15-20 max.** Update below **It has been two weeks since I wrote the review above. The response here on Google was swift and encouraging, so I took the time to them directly as they suggested...but no response. Hoping to save others the frustration of wasting time/money. Sincerely hope this location can turn things around.

Awesome Staff! Everyone was very kind and they looked like they enjoyed their job! Honestly my daughter even said with the fun music and lights and laughs she wants to work there when shes older!

I think they did a great job. My car was very dirty and they took extra time to clean the inside. For the cost and time they have to do it while you wait I was very happy with the job. Everyone was very friendly.

OH NY GOD. After the car wash my car has chipped paint ALL OVER IT. Small round white dots and long streaks - I thought it was left over soap but looking closer the spots are metal and it’s all spots with chipped paint. My car is black so it’s very easy to see. I have had my car for less than a year and I put everything on those chips not being there before getting my car washed here. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Now I have to spend who knows what on getting my car painted

The service was fast and staff courteous. I left some considerably high amount of money unknowingly in the car and a staff brought my attention to this.

Went on Saturday. 34 dollars for them to only vacuum the car. The dashboard was not wiped down, cup holders not wiped. Just a horrible job. Starbucks cup still left on floor. Nothing was wiped down. Even the outside of the car had dirt spots that could have been wiped off but didn’t. I give two stars and shouldn’t give any, but it was fast, and I see why. I do not recommend.

It was a decent job but for $35 (premium) I didnt expect to see that the center console hadnt been wiped and a bunch of debris was left unvacuumed in my trunk. If i go back Ill probably try a cheaper tier for comparison.

They did an amazing job, and were very quick. I got an interior and exterior wash. My car was dirty and dusty with crumbs. I was very happy today with the service and price. I will be back.

Got a car wash here and shortly after I got it, it started to rain. No rain in the forecast so I thought I would be ok. I was wrong. Came back here less than one hour later to get a rain check and then was informed they don’t do that. Never was told in the beginning about this policy. Unprofessional and will not be going back. Don’t waste your money. Not to mention still had soap on my car after the wash.

The team did an exceptional job on my vehicle today. I think it helped with fewer car washes going on. They were able to spend a bit more time wiping down my vehicle. No drips left behind to streak my car as I drove out of the lot.

Customer service was great- everyone was respectful and nice. Cleaning is another story. My vehicle is cleaner than before but many noticable spots were missed. It feels like they did a rushed job- not a lot of attention to detail.

About once a year I have them clean the interior and exterior of my car. They do a pretty good job, but I usually have to point out a few things that they missed. Overall, I think that they do a pretty good job, but its pricey at $34 for the premium wash and clean.

A better car wash compared to others in the vicinity. My experience with them, however, have taught me to be very specific about what you expect them to do and before leaving check that they did it.

Drove off thinking they had handed the proximity key to my friend and the car was still running, after realizing neither of us had the key we drove back to get the key, only to find that the key was wedged in between the seat and the floor, almost going under the seat. How you run a car wash and not make sure the key is in the customers hand when they leave is beyond me. And how it ended up on the floor and not in the cubby or cup holder is even further beyond me.

Went to get my car detailed gave a 5$ tip and my car was not cleaned on the indside They didnt wipe anything down i will not be coming back! I paid 40$ to have my car vaccumed very unsatisfied!

Went there today with my old SUV that has been severely neglected. They were amazing!!! Couldnt get the dealership that just did work on it to call me back about detailing, but this car wash did an amazing job and were completely respectful and Professional!! Honestly, if I could tip them I would have! My SUV hasnt looked or smelled that good in years and I am very thankful to them for doing such a great job!!!

And their customer service people are quite snotty.I am a member here and although I do continue to pay $40/month to be a member I may stop. My major gripe is how the place is set up THERE IS NOT a member only one which forces us to wait while new customers figure out what they’re doing. (Only a problem at the East Washington St location). 1st world problems for sure but $40 is $40 😉

I paid for the platinum package and explicitly asked if the dash, console, and general inside of the car would be wiped down. I was told, Yes. The attached pictures show what the car looked like AFTER the wash. Could I go back, show them my ticket and get a refund or a better wipe down? Sure. But why would I when Ive been shown the poor quality of the service provided. Its not my job to stand there and point out what needs to be wiped down. Im never going back to this location and recommend avoiding it.

After going out of my way for a wash when it was posted open on-line. Found the location closed early. Went back to express my concern and the gentleman made excuses that hours vary and on-line hour posting are not accurate. Nothing to try and off set the inconvenience it created going out of my way. The blow dry leaves water spots on windows and good portion of the vehicle. Not a member anymore!

I realize this plandemic has been hard on businesses, but, the quality of the wash it not what is used to be. The soap, brush, rinse, and dry, have melded together, resulting in poorer results.

Im a subscription member. Here are your main issues. First and foremost, we need the ability to control our account online. I recently wanted to cancel one of the cars because we arent driving it during Covid. It turned into a 20 minute dialog at a location that was really frustrating. Put all of that online.Second, the service is too expensive. When I signed up a year or so ago it was right around $40. A year or so later the same service is right around $63. What other product or service saw a 50% increase in cost in a year people are looking to cut discretionary spending?The wash itself is very, very good most times. The exception is the B squad, which is how I refer to the later day hour shift that is stripped down to fewer people. They tend to leave lots of things undone. Last time I drove off and they had sprayed the inside of the windows but not wiped them down.

Easy in and out. The unlimited wash club (car wash subscription) is worth it if you wash your car at least 4-5 times a month. Good value for money.

After I decided to purchase their highest offer wash I was surprised how quickly it was done. When I got in I saw why. I paid extra for the dash cleaning and they completely didnt wipe in the dip of the dash. Dog hair all over the seats is one thing but they didnt even vacuum out the rubber mat in the rear. This place is a complete rip off do not use.

I got their most expensive interior and exterior car wash: the “platinum”. The interior of the car is still really dirty. The floor mats have dirt on them, the drink holders are dirty, the rear seats are dusty. I just paid $34 and I still need to clean my car...

Great place to get a car wash! It is worth the wait! They do a great job and are very friendly. They have little suds shooter inside for the kids to enjoy while they wait along with complimentary popcorn and coffee to enjoy while you wait. Highly recommend!

The staff is very young but thats neither here nor there. I wanted to get an interior detailing. Paid for a wash and detailing since they dont separate the two. Specifically requested not to have my car washed. They did nothing to the interior of my car. There was still salt on the floor mats, and obvious dust on the dash and console. On top of that, they almost washed it despite me asking them not to do so. Thankfully I was paying attention and stopped them ahead of time. First time going there, and probably wont be back.

They said they couldnt detail, only wash and vacuum. Too bad the vacuum job was minimal. I still had sand on the floors and on the seats. The trunk was barely cleaned. Not really worth $36.

Unfortunately the dramatic prime increase has definitely reduced how often I stop there.....I have noticed they are not at all as busy as they were. Staff is nice but there is no increase in attention corresponding to the price increase.I sent a direct email to the management 8-12 weeks ago with no response.I see several other reviews have the same concerns.

I don’t normally go to this car wash since I live on the west side and usually go to the one on university which is great, however, this location on East Wash is horrible! I’ve only gone twice, but both times I’ve had to sit and wait as no one was there to start the wash. I literally had to honk my horn numerous times hoping someone would come but no one ever did until another car pulled up behind me. Also they no longer wipe the cars down like they used to so you leave and your car is still dripping wet I have to get out and dry my car after every wash.

I seldom write reviews, but Mister Car Wash employees do such a fantastic job with our mini-van each and every time. Every puff, cheerio, or long lost chicken nugget trapped under our car seats is meticulously swept up. I have never had a car wash that spent so much time on the interior. The kids also like the soap spray gun in the inside waiting room that they use to launch soap at the cars passing by in the wash.The workers are incredibly courteous and kind. Highly recommend.

Your car wash is the worst I ever been to!Can’t get home fast enough to wipe it down and then you have water spotted mess on a black vehicle. I canceled you second week in September (3 times cancel)twice online and once in person. Another payment came out this month and is in dispute with my credit card company.

Madison used to have Octopus car wash, which is where everyone went. When Mister moved in I was skeptical, especially because the prices went up. After a few trips though I realized that the place is awesome. The staff are friendly and helpful, the cleaning quick and efficient, and they do a great job. They even offer free coffee and popcorn inside. The only downside is that the price is still higher than it truly should be.

Its a car wash and a decent one too. I have the membership where you pay $30 bucks a month to have your tires shined along with an undercarriage wash and wax. Compared to the car wash places back home (Im from San Antonio, Texas) this is one of the best ones Ive used that has the most bang for your buck. I visit at least 4-6 times in a month and more so during the summer. The reason I put 4 stars instead of 5 is because, once I get to the tire shine station, the workers just look at me. I have to tell them i want it, otherwise they wont do it. Other than that, i have no complaints.

Was hoping to be a happy customer unfortunately I paid $26 dollars to have a full service cleaning inside and out. I sat in my car and the dash had not been wiped at all and was covered with dust. I asked for a rag and a man said I’ll take car of it. He hit most of the dash. I wish I had taken a look at the rest of the car. We had picked up some corn stalks recently and the back seats never got vacuumed off! I am so disappointed with the service!

Do not get your car detailed here. I spend $20 for a half a** job that I could have done myself for $2 at a gas station. I’ll be doing just that next time

Ever since this place changed from the Octopus to Mister Car Wash, this place is honestly the worst. Ive been here twice since the new name, and both times have been seriously disappointed. What is the point of paying to have the inside of your car cleaned, when they dont even do it. Each time they failed to clean any of the dust/salt off of the dash or the seats. I even said to the clerk outside that last time my car was still dusty on the inside after the wash, and he replied, Oh? They should have done that. Well be sure to this time. NOPE.The pricing is more for worse service and to pay for the stupid lighting in the car wash that makes it look like its washing your car better than the old place. Also, the inside/waiting area smells like body odor.NEVER AGAIN.

One star is way more stars than deserved! I have been a loyal customer holding a monthly membership since February and on August 5 I went to use the car wash and money was taken out of my car I immediately returned to talk to the manager on duty who is very nice and said he would investigate the situation which he did do I contacted the corporate office to make a formal complaint and asked that my monthly membership be refunded for one month which is $58.01 the gentleman that I spoke with tell me that they would refund me a partial month because I have used the car wash eight times during that month. Which I would’ve been fine with except the fact that I was not complaining about the quality of my car wash I was complaining that money was stolen out of my car which they verified that they could see some suspicious behavior on the cameras and moved that person to a different position that did not include them being in the car ! Because of this they lost a loyal customer all over $58.01 asking to be refunded which I think is more than fair

I am used to driving up and selecting the service I want from the options listed. However, here you have two lines to choose from. One says exterior and one says full service. I didnt want floor mats washed and multiple waxes so pulled into the exterior line only to be told they wouldnt even vacuum the interior. So I had to try to back out and get to the other line. The wash was ok but nothing special, and I thought it was a bit pricey for a simple car wash.

I have waited an hour for a wash wash, 2nd in line when I got there. Then their vacuums broke, and they without an apology they just told everyone to leave. Without giving a car wash. A gas station car wash is better then this dump. I feel sorry for the people who live in Madison and have to go here.

Vehicle got damaged going through car wash. Assistant manager said that they would take care of it. After multiple attempts to get issue resolved, still nothing. I called corporate and the incident claims department was unavailable and had a full voicemail box. Ended up cancelling my membership.

My usual car wash Madison. Professional and efficient. I appreciate their recent change to take payment at the beginning of the process, so you dont have to interact twice. Conveniently located, but getting off and on East Washington can be tricky. You can only get to Mister from the eastbound side of the road.

We used to love this place! They do a great job with the exterior, better than anywhere Ive tried in Madison. But just now they refused to take care of our car with the bike rack on. We have always gone through with our firmly attached trailer hitch bike rack with no issue! They didnt explain the reasoning for the change, there was never a problem with the bike racks, and they are not easy to remove so we now have to find somewhere else to take the car. Very disappointed. Reverse this policy please!

I came in for a car wash with interior detail. It was very well done; better than it came from the dealer. I cant give them 5 stars because not all of the stain was cleaned; I finished it at home with a paper towel. Overall, very well done, and Ill definitely return.

3 of the last 4 visits have taken greater then 10 minutes to scan my pre-paid car wash. End of work day you may expect people stopping on the way home...staff up this becoming a waste as ther is NO VALUE IN PRE-Paying

They do a great job, but cant seem to put any scent other than new car in my car, even though i ask for vanilla. Others say they dont clean well, I cant speak for the more expensive packages but the $20 inside and out deal will get them wipe over/vacuum everything in the car to a reasonable level, now if its a car you havent cleaned in months (or years) they arent going to get it spotless. I do the $30 a month for as many outside washes as you want (I go 2-3 times a week) and have them do the inside once a month (its $7 for inside when on the monthly plan) and my car is absolutely spotless. If they could get the scent fixed it would be easily be 5 star. I REALLY dont like new car.

When I pulled in the attendant told me it would be $18. I was shocked and asked if there were cheaper options. She said yes, theres a $15 one but Id be missing out. She failed to mention there is apparently also an $11 and a $7 wash. There are no prices listed anywhere. This place is just flat out a scam.

Good for a quick, relatively inexpensive wash. Exterior is automated and does a good job. Interior is always hit or miss. What they clean they do well, but will often find that something (like the entire cargo space of a hatchback) was untouched and not vacuumed. Also their interior cleaners will leave water on plastic floor mats. Overall minor notes, think it is worth the price.

Not worth the $31. Inside of my doors and passenger seat were still wet when I got in. Had to ask the guy if he could hit it with the towel again. Interior was still dusty, interior windows were poorly washed and my seats were turned up where they vacuumed which was not great. Oh, and I had to stop at a gas station to finish drying my car. I would have been better off doing a regular drive through and cleaning the interior myself.

Top of the line wash was around $40 and the interior couldve been a lot better.. Vents were dirtier than when it went in somehow, inside door panels werent wiped down, door trim and jams werent wiped real well either... No more lobby to buy scents and accessories either.. Thats only a psa.

Everyone does a great job except the dryers outside could have done a better job. The one girl stood there talking while she just kept dying the same spot.

I needed a wax and couldnt do it myself so I decided to try Mr Car Wash. The wash was fine but they missed part of the inside of the windshield and a lot of areas still had wax that hadnt been buffed in. They charge extra to use an electric buffer with the wax but the employee only used it to spot apply the wax, then wiped by hand. Not sure if I will go back for the wax.

Excellent job inside and out with the top price wash. My car was a winter mess inside and out. The ONLY improvement would be more attention to wiping the dash evenly. Otherwise perfect job!!!

Polite staff, lots of wash options. $30/mo, and you dont have to worry about car washes! I once locked my keys in the car as it went through, they had me out with practically no delay! This is the best car wash around.

This was the place I went for car washes. Today I showed up and their price for a basic Full Service wash has gone up 50% . It used to cost $12 and now cost $18 for their lowest level wash. I hate to say this but I had issues with how they cleaned before depending on how busy they were...but now... There is no way anyone should pay $18 for the product they sell. Unfortunately I will not be going back until they go back to a more reasonable price. Very disappointing.

They REALLY need to work out their traffic control issues. Many, MANY times Ive come through just for an exterior wash but there is no way for me to get to the line for an exterior only wash because it is blocked by the cars getting interiors done. So, if no one can access it, whats the point of even having it?! Usually, I just pass on by because in the past, Ive made the mistake of thinking I wouldnt be forced to wait a very long time to move those cars. Wow! I was sooo wrong. While I understand their space issue, 1) that should not be my problem and 2) they dont appear to be using the space they do have very efficiently.Aside from that, it typically beats a gas station car wash. The staff is usually very nice.

One of the better for this chain. There are 3 of these in town. we own a package where we can go as often as we want. The young men who work here work very hard. They need to make a lot more money than they do.
