I didnt get anything done for the rodents. I have more roaches and and than b4 I contracted them. I think its due to the bate they put down to attract them to eat the poison or something but I tried waiting for it to work and they didnt stop showing up so going to someone else.

Ive never known a termite treatment to require 6ft by 6ft trenches around the house and its a one time treatment for $2,200 for 630 square feet house and it was going to be $3,600 with a 5 year guarantee. My parents and sister had termite treatments and they just sprayed under and around the house. I didnt have any treatment done. Its cheaper to buy termite treatments from lowes, home Depot, carsen and densens and online and just pour the concentrate around the house wearing gloves, goggles and a face mask.

I found a large yellow jacket nest in my backyard the hard way, by parking right beside it at nearly 8 pm...My keys and phone were stuck inside the car.It was late and I knew I wouldnt have someone come out same-day, but there were 3 pest control companies still open and I wanted a rough estimate and to schedule service for the next morning. Company 1 answered but couldnt give me anything, company 2 just had me on hold for 30 minutes before I gave up on them, Orkin answered immediately, gave me a good estimate, and scheduled me for first thing in the morning.Plus, the technician was really nice and even moved my vehicle for me.

Exterminator showed knowledge and experience. Immediately took charge of my situation. Went around perimeter of yard, saw areas that needed mending, and fixed them. Put out correct traps I needed. Very good experience.

I have not used Orkin long term as of yet. So far the service is good and there are noticeable changes in pest activity. We will see how it goes from here.

Came out the first time treated my house roaches was still visible a week later supposed to had came back the next month but know one ever showed up at all. The service is good but your system needs to be fixed. You do not need to schedule appointments with two-hour windows. What you do is mostly routine. When you have a start-up appointment the next client can be notified their service will be late that day. Ive been with Orkin for many years and it has been only recently that I did not have a specific time for my service. I can understand if the service person is 15 or 20 minutes late for an appointment. I do like being reminded of when my service is due and also being called when my service person is on his/her way. Also, I dont like changing the one doing my service so often. I hope you will consider this constructive criticism and make needed changes. Your old system worked so well for many years!

The rep that came was very thorough and very nice. He took pictures and explained my options carefully. I’m no fool and am always skeptical -especially when I know I’m being unsold - but he really just confirmed most of what I knew already but eased me into considering solutions. By the time he left I knew I might still delay this encapsulation project but resigned to doing something sooner rather than later. And.... most likely I’ll have Orkin do the work because I’ll always know who to call if anything goes wrong.

The effectiveness of the service and the professionalism of the employee who services our house is awesome. However, there seems to be something wrong at the office as far as scheduling is concerned. We are never notified that they have scheduled our quarterly service so it is always a surprise when they show up...if we are even home. I could understand if it happened once, maybe twice...but almost every single time...not acceptable.

Im questioning the initial service and think the last treatment and follow-up are lacking as a result. The first appointment consisted of spraying the baseboards in the house and the foundation outside. The specialist didnt look in the attic, didnt set traps, didnt seem to check for points of possible entry. No feedback on how to keep pest out of the house was given.We saw a couple of cockroaches and earwigs between the first and second treatment. We got a new specialist for the second treatment who set traps, placed bait in the yard away from the house, and sprayed the outside foundation. Since the second treatment, weve seen a substantial increase in roaches. Finding and killing 1 to 3 a day. The specialist came out for a follow-up treatment, sprayed the baseboards inside and placed one more trap.Why only three stars?Negative: Orkin list 6 points of service for pest control. There hasnt been top to bottom, inside and out Investigation of the house yet. Im assuming this is likely why there hasnt been any feedback regarding the Fortify point of service where they do everything we can to keep insects out - seal, caulk, plug, and secure gaps and cracks. The report step has consisted of services rendered, but the recommendations to help keep your home free of pest part hasnt happened yet. The lack of service is in part my fault, as I didnt look at the points of service until today. Had I done my due diligence, I wouldve address the perceived lack of follow through at the time of service.Positive: The current specialist is new to the job, so I think any lack of communication is due to experience. Both he and the office staff are friendly, and responsive. Im optimistic well get this turned around, and service up to the standard identified on Orkins website.Ill update this feedback as additional treatments are accomplished.

Johnathan Simmons with Orkin Pest Control. first did our Termite Treatment in May of this year, 2019, Johnathan and his Team did a wonderful job. They were Professional but also very relatable, and answered all of our questions and we felt very at ease while they were in our home. They got the job done and when they were done, cleaned up everything like they werent even here. So, naturally we called Johnathan back to spray for Pests and he even came the next day! Fast response to calls; great service over the years. Had to have dry zone unit installed years ago, to keep moisture out of crawspace. Keeps the bugs from the area, which helps control what can get inside too.

Orkin, in my opinion, is the best option for pest control. I have used them in NC and GA. The employees in both locations are friendly and knowledgeable. I havent had any pest issues since using their services.

Mr. Ken is the BEST!!! We had our first visit this evening. He was working overtime and I felt so bad to have him out so late but he was very professional, did an awesome job of fixing our problem! I recommend this guy above anyone!

I moved into a house that had not been lived in or cleaned in about 2 years and was overrun with roaches. I tried all kinds of pesticides myself but could not get rid of roaches. So I called Orkin.They came out the next day and started the treatment on my home and I dont have the roaches anymore. Within 2 months they had them under control I will continue letting them treat my home. The technician has taken the time to discuss all of my bug problems with me. He is knowledgeable, very courteous and prompt and even my dogs love him.
