I would not live here for many reasons. 1) When I was trying to sign my lease. I was told by the leasing office that i would get 1st floor and they showed me a 1st-floor apartment. But instead, I ended up getting the basement apartment. 2)Walls very poorly insulated and you can hear people above you talking and laughing. You can also hear the toilet being flushed and hear the shower running as well from other apartment. 3)Right before moving out, we had a rat/mouse issue to which after hours is not considered an emergency. They placed traps once and caught one. No expert was called to resolve this issue. Per office, maintenance was told to place more traps. I am currently pregnant to have a live rodent where you cook food it just unhygienic and unsafe. Not all the rodent was in the kitchen drawers but would climb through the vent and have eaten the insulation. Legit, had insulation fall from the vent over the sunroom. Absolutely nothing was done for every complain made to the office.
All I can say is that every evening when I turn into the complex to come home I say, thank you Lord. This place is well-maintained, if you have a problem and report it they handle it immediately and respectfully. It is not brand new and perfect, but neither is the house that I just sold. I love living here, and being retirement age I feel very safe and secure. I have awesome neighbors and everyone is friendly. Meredith is the best thing that ever happened to this place. She made me feel so welcomed the first moment I visited here. The maintenance staff is amazing, I feel very comfortable allowing them to enter my home without my presence. I have lived here more than six months now and I plan to be here for a long time.
I just moved out of there and they are attempting to collect over $1000 in damages that did not occur. Old management was so much better to work with. The current management is unfriendly and because of COVID they will not do any maintenance on the apartments. They use to have monthly pest control and now that is gone. Additionally, I had squirrels scratching in between my walls and I was scared to death. There have been robberies to the apartments prompting them to send notices to be aware of your surroundings. Apartments are poorly insulated resulting in a huge electric bill. Also, found that residents were casually smoking illegal substances while I was on my nightly walks. Not a safe place for your children. I would stay away from this property at all cost.
5 star location and property. If you could put an apartment complex in a national park, it would be Lullwater at Bass.
Do not stay here! I lived here for 3 years while finishing my residency never had a problem, when I left they charged me 300 dollars for time I wasn’t even in the apartment and we did my walk through and they had my keys. They then called me three months later saying I owe them for damages? I said they charged me for 7 days I wasn’t even in the apartment and then again for minor damages? So the previous management said don’t worry about it. Two years later I get a call from the new owner who wants the money????? I told them I wasn’t going to pay for something they previously told me I wasn’t going to have to pay for because they charged me money and had already rented out my apartment? Crooks! Be careful nice pictures but will try and steal your money every way possible
Nothing like horrid customer service to make you value the experiences when you do receive it.I had this place as my first choice for apartments in the area since I was moving down from Northern Georgia for law school. However, after the treatment my mother, who was helping me in renting my first place, and I received I would not go anywhere near this place.Because I live 2 hours away and Covid, I had to schedule tours and managed to get several places lined up for the same day except for this place as they would not return any of my calls. Finally, on the day I had to go down there I called again managed to speak to a girl named Meredith who said she could give me a tour though that day. When I arrived she did not introduce herself to me who she was immediately and she seemed very short. She also gave me poor directions in following her back to view the models and then an attitude over it. I guess following means to drive in front of and then guess which gate I have to go through. Once at the model, she was racing for the door before I could even get out of my car and then parroted the only piece of information I guess this place can give on their units, 9ft ceilings and crown molding. Then stood there on her phone providing no additional information. I get she might have been dealing with other things going on as she said it was their busy time but to just ignore a potential renter right there seems like nonsense. Especially, since I was attempting to give them three years of business and rent one of their multiple one-bedrooms they had available. When I was done looking at the model, I requested to view other units that were immediately available but was denied for whatever reason, even though other places I looked at that day did so gladly. My mother then spoke with Meredith the next day and was told that I could infact view the units, so I guess I made a four hour trip for nothing. We still attempted to work with Lullwater as we were getting short on time but after yet more attitude, more unreturned calls, and then denial to speak or hear back from the property management company we moved on to Riverstone just nearby which has been nothing but professional.
I wish I could give this place less than 1 star. I moved out of this apartment complex last summer and leaving was the best thing I could have ever done. I was so relieved to be out of there that I didn’t even mind paying the extra to break my lease. I lived there for about a year and I was absolutely miserable. Mack and Anna are very frustrating to work with, not very understanding, and I was even told that I was “very rude” by one of the staff in the office. The grounds and pool are beautiful, but unfortunately I can’t live outside. The apartments are terrible. The walls are so thin that you can literally hear EVERYTHING that goes on everywhere around you. I could even hear kitchen cabinets closing in the apartment next to me. I have a piano and I apparently annoyed my neighbor so much that he came to my door and verbally assaulted me (on my doorstep, in my face) one evening. When I went to the office in tears the next morning my neighbor had already gone in to tell them that he had had a conversation with me. I told Anna that he had been very aggressive but unfortunately Anna believed his story that he had only spoken to me.I basically lived in fear for several months after that until my neighbor moved out. I went to the office several times to express my anxiety and fear about running into my neighbor in the building, because he had been so hostile with me, but the office never did anything to relieve my concerns. I am a single female and I didn’t feel safe and I didn’t feel like the staff had my best interest at heart the entire time I lived there.Bottom line, look for somewhere else to live. Don’t be like me and let the “luxury” apartment title fool you. Find somewhere safer…with better insulation in the walls.
We love living at Lullwater. Our new apartment is spacious and the landscaping at Lullwater is beautiful and well kept. This is a peaceful place.
Ive lived here for 5 years, and it has been a wonderful experience. The staff is amazing, and the maintenance workers respond quickly and are professional and friendly. I feel safe living here because of the gated community and the safety officers who live in our community. The amenities are amazing. We love having a resort style pool and Jacuzzi, great tennis court, and beautiful walking trail.
I lived there for 7 years and LOVED it...the Staff bent over backwards to make sure all my maintenance needs were taken care of! I have GREAT memories of the awesome pool, using the gym weekly, the yearly activities and the nature trail I walked many times. Thank you! Great place to live!
I like the walking trail and gym. The staff are mostly friendly and they are quick to take care of requests. The blinds do look like they should be updated. Moved to another apartment in the complex, and the carpets looked old and stretched although they said they replaced it. They claimed we bent a bar in the refrigerator and charged us $35 for it when we left, which irks me still thinking about it.
Apartments are old and dark. Dealt with Mack who was rude and could have cared less about renting an apartment. I had put down a 200 deposit to hold the only two bedroom they had which was nasty. Found another place to live 30 minutes later and he said he would have to check with his manager to see if I could get my check back. Would never live there!
(UPDATED 04/15/19) - One of the best apartments I’ve lived in. Move-in was a breeze. The staff was always really kind and helpful. They always had community events going on and what not. My neighbors were hot and cold. Most people in the community are nice and friendly. Others are quite uppity and rude.Like any community - walls are super thin! I could here the movies my downstairs neighbors would watch. Listen to their arguments, and here everyone’s kitchen cabinet doors close lol - didn’t bother me much since I have two small children so I’m pretty good with tuning out noise. I had no pest issues (only removed two roaches my entire 13 months). It was tough having a 3rd floor apt with small kids though. Trying to balance being mindful of people below us and still making sure kids can be kids. They’re 4 and 15 months 💁🏽♀️ - apartment life. My downstairs neighbors SWORE I just didn’t care about their “peace”.Anyway, if you have packages being delivered, you have to pick them up in the front office. They’re not brought to your door unless it’s via FedEx or UPS.There was one incident during the winter when I walked up to the office when ice on the sidewalks was prevalent. I ended up slipping and falling on my tail bone by the pool area. I reported it but they were sure to get the ice taken care of so others wouldn’t be hurt. They are definitely ON IT when it comes to that and any maintenance issues, which I appreciated.Only big issues were when they did pressure washing of the buildings - the water would always weep into my apartment leaving a huge puddle of water - bad news for me with clumsy kids. I also had two incidences regarding the water heater. Smelled sulfur randomly one day and such but they were prompt in taking care of that and replacing the water heater.Other than that - staff was always great. They have coffee and muffins available in the community center up front each day. Pool area is lovely. Landscaping is always up to par. Trash was always emptied - aside from a couple of times where they blocked it off and we had to leave trash out. Kids playground is nice. I enjoyed being able to walk around the community on nice days.If they hadn’t upped the rent, I would still be living there but the price did not reflect the actual space IMO. Fickling is known for using super cheap materials so you basically pay for the convenient location, “aesthetic” of the community, and the joys of having both a sunroom + balcony. 💁🏽♀️ - if they offered current residents a monetary incentive (not a carpet cleaning) to renew a lease, I’m quite sure I’d still be there but work and adulting life calls. You can paint the space if you desire. But be warned that you will have to go to Sherwin Williams to get their “Lullwater” wall color which is custom and ONLY comes in 5 gallons. No buying a small anything to spot paint lol.Overall, I had a fairly great experience with them. I haven’t heard back about my security deposit but once I do - I’ll be updating my review accordingly.UPDATE: I did reach out regarding my security deposit and they were awesome. I pretty much had my entire deposit returned minus what I would assume was a very small processing/mailing fee.
Harassed by the local gate vigilante and his wife in their minivan after getting out of my car. Absurd.
We were lied to about our scores being able to be overturned in order to get a residence, when we had told the leasing agent ahead of time that we were below the accepted credit. The agent told us to apply anyways and they could make something happen. Total liars...
This apartment is one of the most deceiving place I have ever lived . It appears luxurious but infested with roaches. The carpets and blinds are one of the cheapest ever. It gets dirty in seconds even if your clean it monthly. It is very noisy. You can be in your appointment and hears what the other person is doing in theirs. Some of the staff is very inconsiderate and racist against foreigners and blacks. They pretend to be friendly and give the fake smile but they are not . Dont be foul by their look. If you do consider their property, make sure during your check in, Look for every dents, crack blinds and faded cabinents or you may be paying for items that should have been replaced 2-3 years ago. I would not recommend this apartment complex to any one.
Management will screw you over so fast you wont know what hit you. They are deceitful but always do it with a smile on their face. Caution to who ever is looking to move in.
Amazing place to live.
