Bill, our tax preparer, gave excellent customer service throughout. We had a somewhat complex tax situation where we were married but had to file separately. He walked us through all scenarios and answered all our questions thoroughly and promptly. Communication was also very timely. Bill is also super personable, easy to talk to, and he always made us feel comfortable with any questions we had. Trust him 100% and will be using his services every year from here on out! The woman who was running this Branch could not answer a simple question in regards to the child tax credit that Biden changed. She told me if my taxes were not completed by them they could not answer a simple question for me. All I wanted to know was if this tax change apply to 2020 or 2021 tax year and she continue to act as if she could not help me without me paying. I told her I was going to file a complaint she would not provide me information above the branch. Finally she asked somebody that simple question and they said that it had not been enacted yet. Worst customer service I have ever seen with H& R Block.

Wow! I was truely blown away with the service that my wife and I received today. I have had previous negative experiences with HR Block in the past, but Bill Wong did an excellent job of explaining the issues with our insurance, how to plan for the future to prevent recurring issues, and maintaining proper precautions during this COVID pandemic.

The gentleman, Bill Wong who prepared my taxes last year (both a K1 and w2) handled my needs beautifully and taught me some things I didn’t know regarding my k1. I’m happy to have him prepare my taxes again and will do so for the foreseeable future.

The price keeps going up every year. And the specialist we had didn’t seem to know how to correctly file our taxes in an efficient timeframe. We spent quite a bit of time waiting for her to figure out our rental and had to call out mistakes along the way. Then after we left, there was a mistake with our filing and we need to now go back and re-file. I don’t feel like this year was providing me the convenience, price, and piece of mind that comes with having a 3rd party expert take care of filing my taxes.

H and r did not process my return correctly. Then when they acknowledged they made the mistake they did not even offer to correct it..the very worst tax proceedings ive had in over 40 years...very unprofessional...the worst thing about it all.....im stuck with the mistake they made...and the only reason they have one star is i could not post this without rating one star....i wanted to rate them ....minus 5 stars

The person who helped me!! thats all!! If it wasnt for Bill I would go some where else... the fees are insane!!! We filed a simple return and claimed our kids and just because we claimed our kids our fees went from $60 to almost $240!! that is insane!!

No papers stating how much you charged me for each form you used, and when I questioned him about a certain form that he used he didnt explain why. Now that I had a chance to go over everything, I dont see that form in my paperwork. I want my money back!!! Youre a rip-off. That form cost me over $150.00... Where else did you take money from me when you shouldnt have? Ive totally lost trust in the block.

Jeannette Jones has the worst customer service! She also doesnt know what shes doing. She tries to set you up to get audited by the IRS. Shes nosey kept asking personal questions.I asked her to explain something and she got all mad and became extremely rude! Had to walk out on her. Worst tax agent ever. She needs more training.
