Took my retired grandmother here to do her taxes, she normally owes on her taxes which was no suprise. However after 2-3 years the number grew higher and higher almost 2x-3x higher and the taxman had no idea why. We were about to go to someone else but they submitted her taxes without our consent! This is a scummy business that refuses to admit their mistakes, and when you start to question them they either say they don’t know and will contact the IRS or decide not to pick up the phone at all.

Mike was forgetful, office is paper everywhere. He was rude to his staff and myself; I was not comfortable with the way he spoke to his staff. Waste of time, I had no problem walking out of there.

Great and smart! He helped me over the phone and didnt even charge me. I will definitely be going back and if my taxes get more complicated hire Mr. Tax Man!

Do Not Go Here. He FORGOT to file my taxes with IRS and 4 months later, he was insistent that I had not filed my taxes. First I reminded him that he had completed both tax returns 4 month earlier, and been paid for the service, then I asked why he did not file at the time they were completed? He argued with me about ME not having done them yet for some minutes and got more insistent before he finally and reluctantly checked his records. He found my completed tax forms but had NO record of his actually submitting my tax returns to IRS. When he finally understood that I had been telling the truth, the ONLY response he had was okay, I just filed them now.No apology or accepting of his own responsibility for the situation. This was completely disappointing and totally unprofessional.He seems to be having difficulty remembering to complete the most basic part of being a tax accountant - Filing with IRS!I went to this place for some years and trusted Mr McKinnon to do my taxes. While he did a good job for a while, I would never trust him again
