This review is for Emily at Color Collectiv which is located in the Sola Salon.Where do I even begin. I have been going to Emily for about 4-5 years now. I remember my first impression of her was professional and friendly. I walked into her studio and had no idea what I wanted. All I could do was say make me a cool blonde with a signature hairstyle and BOOM. She did exactly that.Not a day goes by where I dont get stopped in public and asked about my hair. Yesterday I had a older gentleman at the dump say NEVER change your hair. Its perfect.I feel more confident than I have ever felt. Emily is so incredibly kind and always asks me how I am doing. I feel like she is a close friend. ABSOLUTELY you have to go to Emily. One of the best humans ever.

Andy Le is now my holy grail. Ive been to countless hair colorists where Ive always wanted to go really light and ashy blonde/grey, but have always ended up with brassy hair. Andy was able to get rid of my brassy hair AND get my dream color in one session. My jaw literally dropped as he was drying my hair, I couldnt believe he did it. Im so happy with the result and I will not go to anyone else.Andy definitely takes pride in caring for hair and knows what hes doing. He works hard 7 days a week, but only sees two clients a day just so he can spend the time taking care of his clients. I was able to make an appointment within a week. HIGHLY recommend booking with Andy!

Jaimie at Fleur d’ Avril is absolutely a master at her craft! Highly recommend For any color or cut. She took me from brunette to a beautiful icy blonde over the years and has maintained it beautifully! I also have a very short haircut and I can’t tell you how many compliments I get from total strangers, men and women, who stop me and ask where I get it done or just to tell me how gorgeous my hair is. Seriously go see her! Top notch

Been seeing Cristina for years. She does high end fades for me and edgy cuts. I have never left disappointed. She has excellent communication, very personable, friendly and really cares about my hair. Never feel rushed in getting my cut. Love her new salon, myHAIRapy, at this location. Very rock n roll vibe. I had a appointment with a girl named Maria, no one in the salon knew who she was. It said my appointment was at 12-2:30pm. I called her three times and the third time she actually answered. I have no messages and no emails that said she cancelled but when I talked to her she said she had declined the appointment but I have nothing that says that she did. She sounded very unprofessional also when I had talked to her. I understand she wasn’t feeling well due to the covid shot, but even so, atleast have the common decency to atleast tell me my appointment was declined. Very disappointed and dissatisfied I wasted gas to drive there and it’s very important I get my hair done before Tuesday.

Caitlin, with Opalesce Salon did a wonderful job with my haircut. She greeted me warmly at the door, and escorted me to her station where everything was sanitized and ready to go. She asked a few questions to get to know me and understand what style I had in mind. Then, she confidently got to work. (Finding a curl specialist has been a lifetime struggle for me, but Caitlin is top notch!) She did a great job with my natural curls and I was thrilled with the experience. She clearly knows what shes doing and guarantees her work. Ill definitely be coming back!

My hair was gray, frizzy, and not my best, but when I left I felt like a million bucks. My hair was ten times softer after she colored it than when I walked in. I will never go to a different salon. Tonight my mom went to her and looks radiant, and my daughter goes to her next week! Make an appointment. You will NOT be disappointed!

This review is for Andylepassionhair. That is also his Instagram handle too. I have been going to him for the past two years. Before I was happy with his service but the last time I went (which was last week), he messed up my hair really badly. I was there for a touch-up which he has done for me many times. I showed him a picture and he said he can get me my color or at least close to the color. He even said he’s been taking a master class on balayage so he’s even better now. After 5 hours of work, my hair doesn’t look anywhere close to what I asked for. I asked for a light blonde balayage, close to platinum blonde. My hair is closer to brown..... and on top of that, it’s so dead. I would be less upset if I spent $100-$200 on his services but I paid $540 after tip. I messaged him nicely and told him that I was unhappy with my hair and asked if he can fix it or give me a refund. He refuses to do either and dropped me as a client. He is super unprofessional. I saw this happen to someone else on yelp. Please don’t go to Andy!! You can go to someone else who is better and way cheaper/ professional.

I booked an appointment with Cristina at myHAIRapy. at Sola salon in Lynnwood right across from Alderwood mall. I can say I have never been happier. I have been to several other hair dressers and always been a bit disappointed and even had some mess up my hair at places like Gene Juarez and Ulta. I cannot remember all the salon names I have tried just to find a good hairdresser, but one thing I do know is that I have never left feeling like I got exactly what I wanted. My experience with Cristina is different than any other. First there is that safe feeling during a pandemic that I can get a hair appointment without getting any extra exposure. You are asked to text when you get there and she meets you outside to lead you to her salon. Both of you wear a mask and you are the only one there. She takes all necessary measures to ensure everything is sanitary. She then makes an effort to get to know you and what you like. The setting has a very relaxed 70s vibe. If your like me and juggling a thousand different things then you are absolutely going to love her head massage as she shampoos you. Its the one thing that convinced my fiance that this was the place to go. He is very picky on where he goes and absolutely fell in love with her salon and the one on one experience unlike any other place where you are next to others. I am very reluctant to make any major changes with my hair but always feel that I want to. Cristina listens to this and understands. She talks with me and gives suggestions. This last appointment with her I felt completely comfortable just to trust her with the color selection based on what I told her I wanted. She was able to correct what my last stylist had done that I was not happy with. She gave me a cut and Balayage with a few different colors. She was able to mix colors in a way I never would have thought of. I cannot express enough how happy I am with my hair. . She gave my hair the dimension it has never had. I absolutely love my new hair and know that I will definitely be back for me and my fiance. I give her a 5 star review and highly recommend her to anyone looking to get their hair done. She cares about her customers and their needs and has the skills to create new or fix what someone else has messed up. If your looking for a professional who listens to what you want this is your person.

Cristina at myhairapy is by far the BEST style artist I have had touch my hair in over 15 years ! Myhairapy is such a relaxing and exciting experience all at once. After a long day I walk in and there’s soothing music and her space isn’t cluttered with stuff - you very much feel at home!I went years not allowing anyone to touch my hair due to previous not so great experiences. When I finally came to Cristina she asked every question you could think of to make sure she completely understood what I was looking for cut,color and style wise. Her prices are extremely reasonable too!I am proud to say She has my full trust with my hair and I will not go anywhere else or have anyone else cut or color me up. I went to Andy Le with reasonable expectations and unfortunately was let down. Before we got started we discussed what I wanted and he told me he was able to achieve those results. He did not. The technique he used to dye my hair was horrible and got my hair extremely tangled. When we tried to bush it out there was a ton of hair that was pulled out and my scalp felt raw. Overall, after we finished bleaching and toning my hair the final result wasnt nearly what I wanted and in fact looked almost the same as when I got there. We ended up cutting my hair because it was so damaged after he was done. Eventually I reached out to him to explain how I felt and he was very unprofessional and started to send me images/memes. I will not be going back to Andy.

I have to be honest... I never leave reviews so for me to leave a review says a lot. I’m very disappointed. I found him on Instagram and his pictures look different than how they do in person. For example my hair that he took a picture of did not portray what my hair actually looked like. I spent close to $500 with him in the end as I had to come back and get it toned and fixed and it still looked like nothing I asked for. He fit me in to fix it the following day because it was bad. As soon as he did my hair he said we could “Talk about my hair” once he was done blow drying. (He also charges me for the color correction/ toner) It still did not look right at all and I expressed that. He said he cannot help me and refused to fix it after. He said he doesn’t want to do my hair anymore, that I can’t come back and that “nobody can make me happy.” He continued to say things to me which left me in his chair in tears. I left the appointment crying and never received an apology. It was a very uncomfortable experience I have never been treated that way from a stylist. Aside from my hair color he was not nice to me. He could have approached the situation differently. It is no way to treat a paying client. I personally would not recommend him to any of my friends or family and based on the one written out real review below it Sounds like this isn’t new. I wish I read that review beforehand.

I came in two weeks ago on a Tuesday to get a color and cut. The stylist was amazing. Beautiful ambience. LOVED the ladies bathroom! Reason for giving 2 stars, is I am 20 weeks pregnant. The stylist next to her was doing a Brazilian blowout, and the smell was making me cough so bad I had to keep walking to the restroom for fresh air. The stylist said If I go outside the balayage would not lift. I went home and did some Research on formaldehyde and this could potentially harm my babys growth by breathing toxic chemicals. I just wanted to warn anyone who doesn’t want to be exposed to harsh chemicals! Wish I would have known ahead of time. But the stylist said “we’re all independent” anyone can do what they want. Some follow the rules some don’t!

Andy was AMAZING! He listened to my requests and work to get the result I want. I am very picky and just love the way he does it every time. I will keep going back to him.

My wife has been going to Kristy Kitchner for several years and Kristy has always done an outstanding job. She takes her time and Pam always looks great afterwards. I went to Kristy Kitchner for the first time and I sm extremely pleased with what she did. She takes a lot of pride in her wofk and it shows. I cant recommend her enough for women who need a stylist, trim or znythingFor men who need a hair cut, style or beard trim she will treat you well and do an outstznding job.

This is a beauty salon and everything is brand new. The best thing about the salon is that it has a cooling and heating system in each studio which i have never seen at other salons. There are 32 studios. We have hair stylists, estheticians, massage therapists and tatoo artists. They are leasing now so check it out for a great deal since it’s the grand opening. The owner and manager are always on top of what you need. Strongly recommend!
