What a great gym always clean cool and calm nice people god bless

Tried calling several times to get information about joining. No answering machine, so I drove there. Guest entrance is locked dispute the fact the hours on the door says open until 7 pm.

Called in to cancel bc I have moved and no one has emailed me the cancellation paperwork like requested. Now, I can’t get a single person to answer the phone and their voicemail is full. About to call my bank and have them reported.

This gym is a disgusting facility to work out at, much less place foot in. Theres no cleaning crew for the machines nor bathrooms. The machines are consequently slimy and the bathrooms are moldy, grungy, and bacteria-filled. Wish I had taken pictures last time I was there for all to see, its truly beyond disgusting and if it were a restaurant, wouldve been violated and shutdown A LONG TIME AGO (YEARS AGO). Do yourself a favor and steer clear.

BEWARE THE MOLD IN SHOWERS---UNHEALTHY---FILTHY!!!The hours (24-7) are the reward here. Having ones own key allows Anytime workouts.Decent combo of machines and free weights. Has enough to get a swole on.But....the showers are a DISASTER!!! Look at all the mold!!! Have not been able to get ahold of anyone for last few months to cancel membership. Location is dirty and never staffed.

Awesome little big gym. Little foot print but big enough to have all the weight machines, cardio equipment, dumbbells, weight plates, squat racks, heavy boxing bag and everything needed to train. Never super crowded. All the members and staff I’ve talked with are friendly and/or leave me alone to work out. If you need someone to check you in and ask how your day is going then go somewhere else. This is a great, clean gym.

This location is so convenient for me. However, its not very clean and kept after. The machines need some TCL as well. If it wasnt for the convenience I would be attending a different location.

Filthiest place I’ve ever seen. Owner has no clue! Can’t imagine how dirty her own house is! Thankfully after needing to get nasty I got out of my “contract”!

Trying to cancel a membership after the year contract is almost impossible. My partner has been going in circles and they keep trying to bill the account. Speaking to people at the club and their financial services company, both keep saying to talk to the other. Spoke numerous times with someone at the club over the last two months and numerous times to someone at their financial institution, still unresolved! Not to mention, they lost the credit card information that they had on file for the billing. Seriously? Sorry, but completely unprofessional. I am not saying they are a bad club, but their customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

In the past year of my membership I’ve had dealt with constantly roaming around the gym looking for free weight plates, broken machines that take at least 1 week to fix, machine equipment that disappeared, trash cans overflowing with garbage, empty paper towels machines, empty soap dispensers, a toilet that has been closed for months (still is), no personal trainer for roughly 8 months, overflowed toilet that leaked onto the workout mat, staff that do not follow the advertised hours, broken water fountain, and add not having an ac for roughly 10 days. I understand waiting to receive funding to fix the ac but when considering all of these issues over the year, it’s status quo. Any positives? Yea, not many come here so I don’t need to wait for machines. Woohoo.

I called the corporate office months ago if that two years ago. They apologized and said they would fix the issues with this club. So I signed back up. All they did is put new signing. There is dirt and sweat on the equipment that never gets cleaned just like it was before. There is Electrical tape on some of handle bars. Vending machines don’t work either. Bathroom is filthy. Meatheads avoid!

Simple clean gym

I’ve been to many other Anytime Gyms both local and out of state and this one does not come close to the others. The quality of machines is not even comparable to other gyms. They seriously lack in the accessories department, ie., kettle bells, smaller weights, etc. the only reason I still come here is because it is on my way to work. I go to a better one on the weekends. They have been promising classes since April but it has yet to happen. They definitely have some work to do with this place.

I used to enjoy this particular Anytime fitness gym but as of late it’s been very messy. Paper towels not filled and some i cleaned bathrooms. Today I came and the water fountains weren’t working.

I decided to update my review. Seems like the gym manager was fired, now the personal trainer has been actually cleaning the equipment and the entire gym.My problem with this location is that the gym plays the same music over and over, compared to the other location that has Sirius XM.The only thing that annoys me is these paper signs they post about having a second person they will charge you $75 fine. I don’t do this but it just looks unprofessional and sloppy. Bank of America charges a $50 overdraft fee, AnytimeFitness is not a bank

I wanted to post an updated review since the other ones were older and maybe during a different ownership. I was at another anytime fitness and just moved to this location. The past reviews did give me reservations about the gym. I was pleasantly surprised to see the gym wasnt neglected and someone was on site when I went in on a Friday morning. I cant speak to any of the other issues around cancelling but overall the gym was clean and looked to be well maintained.

Ive used many Anytime Fitness locations. Most are just fine.This place is really small. Didnt seem like the cleanest place. Ill find another gym.

Ive been at this gym over 2 years. Its a great environment for a multitude of fitness goals. Theres not much else you could ask for in a gym. Its usually never crowded and everyone seems serious. Theres no BS. No problems getting in even on holidays.

The owner has abandoned the gym. No one is ever there to assist with membership issues or to cancel. No one answers the phone and this has been going on for months now. The facility is disgusting as the only person (personal trainer) who was cleaning has left. I went to work out this morning only to find out that the member’s door will not open and since no one mans the office anymore, there’s no telling how long this will go on. I’ve called, emailed, and gone to two locations to cancel my membership with no success. Corporate refers you back to the location owner who is unresponsive. If I could give this location 0 stars, I would!As a follow up - I called corporate today and was able to speak to someone in Customer Service. Due to the ongoing problems this location is receiving, they were kind enough to cancel my membership for me. If youre having similar problems, reach out to corporate.

Not a clean club at all. Staff rarely available. Had a billing error when I had to cancel and kept getting the run around on why they couldn’t refund when they know I was billed incorrectly.

Ive had a membership with Anytime fitness for almost four years. About a year ago I started the process to try and cancel my membership. The location I primarily frequented at 1408 Dale Mabry never had anyone in the office, I went to a franchise branch and was told I had to resolve the issue at the original place I held my membership. I called the 800 number on my credit card and they wouldnt help me either. Finally, someone was in the office at the Dale Mabry branch and told me there was a 60 day cancellation wait. I waited over 60 days and still no sign of closing the account. I decided to call my credit card company and cancel the automatic deduction. Then I started to get harassing phone calls from ABC Financial that there was an issue with my account. After speaking to a representative multiple times explaining my situation, making calls to the gym that were never returned, I sent a certified letter. Michiael Fitzgerald called me to help resolve the issue, I went into the office and he told me after everything Ive been through I still have a 30 day cancellation notice plus late fees and back payments owed. I paid him, returned my key and am still getting phone calls from the financial institution that I owe 50.00. I went to the office today to settle this issue and again no one was in the office. I will never do business with this company again, they have lied, avoided me and their billing company refuses to do anything to help. Ive called, sent letters, talked to the billing company and paid after I cancelled automatic deductions just to get the situation finalized. Im still being told I owe after Ive paid and spoke with a manager. The gym membership was supposed to be from month to month and not a long term contract. They are modern day extortionists. Im frustrated, angry, and feel like Ive been taken advantage of when Ive been loyal, Ive helped them get business, another story, and I am courteous and take care of the equipment.

New owners, Thought they might actually think about their customers but, I guess not. Lights have been on with the music on but have been unable to enter due to the door not working since the storm. No communication for the customers. I went to another Anytime Fitness and at least they had a sign stating they would be open on Wed. Whats worse is the number to call doesnt even pick up with an answering machine with an update. It just rings and rings. Come on people take some pride in what you do!!!

This one doesnt have much for free weights or space for plyo. Good for a quick cardio session or machine weights. All the Anytimes (especially my wonderful home gym) I have been to in Madison, Wisconsin are much cleaner as well.

The cancellation process is very unreliable. I spoke with the manager (skinny guy with glasses) 3 months in advance to make sure that my payments would stop at the agreed date. I gave my 60 day notice as required, he assured me at least 4 times that the payment would not be withdrawn. Needless to say, the account continues to be withdrawn and I had to cancel my debit card so they would stop. Get everything in writing. You may feel like youre being overly careful, or like youre bugging him, but youll be glad you did, otherwise it wont get done correctly. Never again with that place, and Ill make sure no one I know ever gets a membership there.

This gun is disgusting and filthy. Smells and there is dust and sweat drops everywhere. Looks like it rarely gets cleaned. Great place to catch the flu.

Took down the one piece of equipment I actually cared about, that set them apart. No heavy bag, no point in going. There are other locations with weights and cardio equipment.

This is the best Gym anywhere around. Paul Iannerilli is an awesome Trainer!
