Good gym to lift some heavy weight

Recently moved here and needed a gym to keep training the way I like. The only gym in the area with strongman equipment I need. 24 hour membership, at a great price, makes it easy to get in on a busy schedule. They have a mix of all kinds of people from everyday people to athletes training for their next competition.Great owners Jeremy and Abby who have made me feel very welcome since day one. Im not a fan of globo gyms/chain gyms and this is a great place for me. Highly recommend

I ruptured my Achilles during Hurricane Harvey while on rescue missions with the military. It was a long recovery, but coming here made the process much easier mentally and physically!! I gained a lot of weight from my injury being immobile, but the atmosphere here gave me the motivation to fight to lose the weight and get back to better shape than before! I love it here!! The 24 hour access is awesome cause I love early morning work outs!! Cant say enough good things about this gym and the owners!!🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Great gym for any experience level. The owners are very helpful and nice. Their law enforcement background makes me feel safe. They have many great classes for both adults and kids. My wife loves Bens boxing class. Its more of a free weight gym. The atmosphere is great and its kid friendly.

I love this gym! I have tried all the others in town and this by far is the best gym for me. They have everything that I need to get a great workout. Their setup makes it easy to find the machines that I need. The owners are very friendly and always greet me when I walk in the door. Now thats customer service for sure! Ive been working out here for about a month and a half, at first I was intimidated because I am a larger guy and a lot of people in there are fit and muscular. The reason I persisted is because the owner (Jeremy) took the time to make me feel comfortable and answered any and all questions I had. To this day I love going not only because I can feel myself getting healthier but because both owners (Jeremy and Abby) as well as their worker/trainer (Levi) have done nothing but make me feel welcome and like Im part of something bigger than just your average gym. If you want somewhere to get fit, change your life and meet some awesome people, Gains & Glory is the best place to do that.

Plus,it also has a 🏀 court... The 🏀 court is my favorite... Highly recommend it... :-D The owners are like family to us...

This gym is top of the line. The staff and owners are very friendly and helpful to all members, and it has all the right weights and equipment. Its 24 hour and even when busy at the regular times, its easy to get your workout in. A welcoming kind of culture exists here that you wont find at most gyms. Very good experience.

I love this gym! This is my new Home Gym! They have everything you would want in a Gym with lots of equipment! The equipment is nice and clean. The smaller weight room and locker room is always tidy. Staff is very friendly. I feel at home and so comfortable there! Ive only been early mornings and its always quiet and peaceful!

I am just now starting my fitness journey and I had/have no idea what any of the weight machines are, they are very willing to take the time to show me how everything works and have been a positive support to get me started on living a healthier lifestyle. I have to say one of the best gyms in the area and the owners actually want you to be successful in your fitness journey. They provide FREE fitness and meal plans when you become a member! They make you feel like family!

Had a great experience here. I live in Houston and was visiting my in laws here in Lufkin and was looking for a gym to workout at on Saturday morning. The owners and staff were so accommodating and helpful. Not to mention the environment of the gym was great! I’ll be back for sure each time I’m here, and if you live in Lufkin and are looking for a place to workout Gains and Glory is it!

Best gym in Lufkin, hands down. Trainers are very nice and extremely knowledgeable. Ive seen results in only 3 weeks of personal training. I highly recommend this place.

Great atmosphere and plenty of different ways to train, not just weight lifting. They have a small obstacle course with tires to flip and sledgehammer to swing, punching bags, battle ropes, kettle bells, and more.The owner, Jeremy is a super guy!Come check it out!

I like the way that this gym is set up. Dropping or clanking the weights is not a problem. Jeremy who is the owner is a very knowledgeable guy.

Love it here it has to be better then planet fitness to me hands down everyone is nice and stuff. No biggie.

Its tiny kind of expensive and smells like a sweaty piss bucket. Many of the cardio machines do not work and there are limited machines. The other machines are crammed kinda close you can practically smell somone elses sweat. The music that plays on their overhead stereo is Lincoln Parkish and can kill the energy of your workout so bring headphones. Although, there arent always as many people as Planet Fitness I found that to be the only plus.
