5 star for my first day there. The place was clean and plenty of machines to jump on. Ill keep going and update this when Ive been a few more times. Definitely recommend to my friends.

The instructors here are a cut above the rest. They work hard in their down town to create cutting edge workouts that target the entire body. You are guaranteed to get results and have a great time burning fat. I never knew working out could be so much fun.

Summer’s classes are amazing! Their group fitness classes are the best around. Very clean gym and nice staff.

I recently moved into an apartment complex across the street from Zachs Club West, but I had to break my lease and lose my $1,000 deposit because I couldnt stand the incessant noise coming from Zachs Club West. I was in contact with Zachs Club West for weeks and they assured me that the noise would stop, but it never did. I have been forced to work at home since March, 2020 and it was impossible to focus on my job and even customers started to comment on the bass because it was so loud that they could hear it through the phone. I want people to have fun working out and I want people to enjoy music, but Zachs Club West should at least try to sound proof the room.

Absolutely the best gym in town! Clean, friendly (think Cheers, everyone knows your name), professional, tons of classes that are included in the membership, and they support local businesses (food trucks in parking lot, local food drives, angel tree, etc).

I called to cancel my membership because of self quarantine they said that I had to walk in and physically sign the paper. Went up there 2 weeks later explained my situation the guy at the front desk said I would be good and I shouldn’t have to pay the next month I said ok cool. Come to look at my bank statements and I had been charged another month. So I was lied to and they wouldn’t let me cancel over the phone. It is a great place to workout but when it comes to billing that’s all they care about not you as a member.

Best gym in Lubbock! Friendly owners, staff, and instructors. I would highly recommend to anyone. ALSO, they offer a wide variety of classes (even self defense!). Love this place.

Best gym I have ever been a member of and I have been going to gyms in Lubbock,Texas since 1986... instructors are awesome and so many great classes to choose from...equipment is abundant and spread apart so you were social distanced before it was even a thing! Staff up front are all smiles and welcome you by name most of the time!

Its an awesome place to work out at. It doesnt make u feel uncomfortable in any kind of way. Plus, everyone is really friendly. Id recommend it to everyone who wants to work out.

Ive been working out at Zachs for over 2 years now. I love everything about this gym EXCEPT the hours. The hours are the only reason Im not giving Zachs Club 5 stars. Everything else is fantastic! The equipment is well maintained, the classes are challenging, the gym itself is always kept clean, and the employees are super friendly. However, working the night shift at the hospital makes it difficult to work out around these hours. I fear I may have to leave the gym because of this. If youre a day walker though, I 100% recommend this place!!

Very nice gym!! The place is extremely clean, the staff is friendly and I like the fact that the vast majority of people that go are adults and take their workouts seriously instead of sitting on a bench or machine for 20 minutes messing with their phone.

Update: No call from Bart Thomas. After several left messages, I finally spoke to someone who informed me that Gabe Paul is a former Tech Football player and has Barts ear. So long story short, if you would like to join a club where if you can work out at the discretion of the good ole boys club and be treated like your membership dues are only as good as long as you dont get in the way, go right ahead.The gym on Kewanee is fine, the front desk men are nice. Had a negative experience with Gabe Paul. There is only one sitting quadriceps machine and I was waiting to use it and I used the machines around it while waiting for the last person to finish. I watched as Gabe Paul was talking to a woman and placed his bag next to the machine. (I didnt think anything of it at the time) The woman who was on it got off and I walked over to the machine and put my water and towel in the holder and was about to sit down when Gabe Paul came up to me and said excuse me maam, but I was next and pointed to his bag as if that held his place when he was no where near the machine. I said oh is that how this works? and he did not answer. So I went to do some squats and abdominals and waited for 10 minutes and he was still on the machine. I had to leave to go to work and I went to the front desk and asked the guy working the front if it was gym policy that if you place your bag next to a machine, does that hold your place in the line? He said no and I said well that man over there kicked me off the machine and said he was next because his bag was there and he wasnt. He wanted me to go to the machine and ask them to let me work out and I said sure, I have to go to work, so I will be quick and told him that Gabe Paul had already been on it for 10 minutes. We walked over to the machine and the front desk guy asked Gabe P if I could work in and I said No, I was asking if was gym policy to hold your place with a bag without you being around. Gabe P raised his voice and said he had been waiting and I told him that I had been waiting before him and I was already on the machine and he kicked me off because he said he was next because he placed his bag there. I told him, I watched him place his bag there because I had been waiting before him. GP started to raise his voice further and asked me how long have you been here! That is what we do around here! So I looked back at the front desk guy and said So is it company policy? GP interrupted and started pounding his chest and saying, no you can talk to me! We can talk about this outside! as if he wanted to deal with the situation violently. I asked for the manager at that point because I feared for my safety and GP said I have a key to the front door! I said oh so you work here? I was astounded that someone who worked there could act so unprofessionally. He motioned for me to follow him and at this point I just wanted to talk to the manager, I asked him for his name, which he refused to give me, he also refused to give me the name of his supervisor and kept insisting that thats what they did around there in reference to holding his place with the bag. I got Bart Thomas name from the front desk man and the GP name. It is completely unprofessional and poorly done if this man continues to work there. I am speaking to Bart Thomas in the morning and if he supports this behavior, I am ending my membership.
