Before I joined Crossfit Throne, I was very unhappy with myself. Depressed, feeling of not being good enough, gaining weight, just not happy at all. Good friend had me join her and I met the owner Jon. And, I havent looked back! Jon and all the coaches are wonderful! They encourage you, train you, and cheer for you when you dont think you can do anymore! This is the best place to go if you need to be lifted out of your funk. My background is in several sports, military service, strength training, and powerlifting. After the service, I knew that I needed help with accountability and reintroduction to proper form and function of movements. I had tried several gyms and boxes, and home workout programs. It wasnt until I found CrossFit Throne that I found a place where the staff and other members took a genuine interest in me and my overall well-being. I am a combat veteran. Some days, its an accomplishment to get out of bed and walk out into the world. The community at Throne has regularly checked up on me when they havent seen my face in a while. The phone calls, texts, and social media messages have sometimes been what gets me back into the box and out of my funk. I cant say enough good things about the people, the staff, the programming, and the heart that make Throne what it is. This is the best crossfit box in Lubbock in my opinion. I know there is other great boxes here, but as an athlete wanting to really excel in crossfit my expectations have been truly blown away. I used to hate on crossfit and now I’m hooked, in the best shape of my life(with an extensive lifting/athletic background), and my body feels great. What is great about this affiliate is that it truly doesn’t matter where you are starting from, age, nothing. Just come and get started. The owner and coaches are here for you to improve your standard of health and living!
