Made a reservation for a zero turn mower a week and a half before I needed it. Day of reservation at 4:05, was informed that all 6 were broke and they couldn’t help me nor had a back up plan. No communication whatsoever and no customer service. Thank you Sunbelt Rentals for the excellent service and fixing other rental companies screw ups at 4:30 on a Friday afternoon AND a better price.

I was in need of an excavator for some septic work on my property 2 1/2 hours away in Donley County. Great Plains Equipment Rental had the best rates in town AND Amarillo. I called everywhere. They were even able to provide a 3ft bucket with the excavator which wasnt available in most places. But where they truly exceeded my expectations was with their customer service, specifically from their manager, Lee Ovalle. On the first evening, the rental trailer for the excavator axle broke and I was STUCK. I called the customer service number and immediately received a call back from Lee. I explained the situation, he apologized, and assured me he would get me a trailer that night! Well he did. He personally made the trip on a Friday night arriving at 12 midnight to make the delivery. That means it would have been about 3am by the time he made it back home! It isnt a fun trip by any means so I greatly appreciate him for his sacrifice and support in keeping my project going. The whole experience with the Great Plains Equipment Rental team was extremely positive and I will definitely be coming back.

They Saved The Day!!We were in dire straits because another big box rental company failed to deliver the lift we ordered. What could have cost as much as $30,000 a day in losses was saved because they got us hooked up last minute with a lift with delivery same day! Kudos to the team here for being CLUTCH!

Rented equipment. Used for 4 hours. Equipment turned off and was left no charger. They brought one and only held a charge for 30 minutes after i charged for 2 hours. Next day bolts on blade broke. They did not want to extend the contract for a few hours bc of equipment failure but were happy to pick up before time ran out. Do not use this business. Ask questions before renting.

I explained what work i was trying to perform, Ronnie was quick make cost effective suggestions. Seemed to me that Ronnie was more interested in saving me money than up-selling me unnecessary features. If you need to rent heavy equipment for household projects, call these guys. They will take very good care of you.

I rented a mini-excavator and could not have been happier. Aside from the air conditioning, the equipment worked flawlessly, I took my time and did the job right, keeping the mini-excavator for a week for a decent rate. The owner is a great guy and the customer service is outstanding.

I rented a skid steer, forks, grapple and dump trailer from the guys over a few month period. They are very easy to work with and communicate very well. I was called and told when they where on the way and then when I had questions they answered them without pause. I even ended up buying a skid steer from them because I knew I could trust them. Good people and I will work with them in the future.
