Today I went in with an issue with a dongle on my Pixel 2 and the owner cleaned out the port to try and fix it. He explained what was wrong and told me that I can find a cheaper solution at another store. He didnt charge me anything and helped me understand what was going on.Ive been here before and they have always been helpful and competitively priced, so I will always be a customer.

Had a cracked screen....had. Took my IPhone 7 Plus in and it was fixed. They even showed me the price it would have cost to take it to the Apple store. It cost about half the price.It took about a half an hour but good as new. If anything happens in the next 90 days it’s covered by their warranty so keep receipts. They did a good enough job so I doubt you’ll need it. Great place, friendly staff. Would recommend.

I called most of the phone repair shops in town and Double T had the best price and said they could do it in 30 minutes. They were knowledgeable and even with there being only one person working tonight, he was able to get my phone fixed in just a little over 30 minutes. Great work and great service. Don’t waste your money at a chain shop, this place is great.

I am absolutely impressed by the service I received by Josh today!!! I went in with my iphone completely ruined. The screen was chipped and missing glass through out it and wouldnt even let me my screen anymore. Like it had gone completely black and he fixed it 100%!!!!! It looks brand new again! And it was done within the promised 15-20 minutes!! I will be returning if I ever have another problem with my screen!FOLLOW UP. As great as the service was my phone literally chattered the very next time it dropped. Like ruined. Im afraid the glass is cheap. I had this phone for almost 2 years and with the original glass it took me dropping it 100 times before eventually broke even then it was just in one spot and not very bad. This last time the glass literally fell out.I would be more satisfied if the glass was a better quality.

I love going to Double T repair because they make everything easy and affordable. At this point I am quite embarrassed to say that I have severely damaged my screen four times and each one, I have trusted no one other than them to repair my phone and even give me a few tips on how to avoid having to have it repaired again.They are also incredibly convenient as they also make house calls and are sure to tailor to your needs. I always recommend their services to others and make sure to let them that I have never had a bad experience with their work.

Great Prices but poor service, very poor english skills. There are many other choices I should have known that the price was to good to be true. They fried the board and I lost all my contacts and pictures.

I had my iPhone 6 screen replaced yesterday, and it looks perfect. Im surprised they were able to fix it since I had slammed it in the car door which destroyed the screen and bent the phone. Not only did they fix it, but they did it in under 30 minutes and $90 cheaper than another place I had called. I highly recommend Double T Repair.

Well first off they said they had the iPhone 5 screens in and so i went and took it to them they said it would cost me $160 and i was tempted to just buy a brand new one. i am wish i did. when i went back they said it wasnt ready so they said they would give me something when they got it fixed. they fixed the screen but now the home button turns and you cant really hear someone on the phone anymore. when i got my phone back they gave me $5 back and i was pissed so Im never going to go back there for anything again. it was such a waist of my money i could have gone to to simply mac and had a pro do it and it would have been better off for me.

1 star is more than this place deserves. Their prices are reasonable, but the quality of the repair was TERRIBLE! Go elsewhere and pay an additional $20 or $30. They replaced an iPhone7 screen, it worked great for about a week; then the top half of the screen would not respond to touch, I contacted them about this issue, to see if they would fix it, and was told that Id have to pay for a new screen. This was clearly a faulty installation, and they would not stand behind their work. Never again. Stay away from this place.

I took my Iphone to get the screen replaced at Double T Repair. I had the screen come unglued less than a year. I took it back to them, per their request. They called me back, and let me know it was past 90 days and there was no more warranty. They wanted to replace the screen again full price. I asked if that was all that could be done with my phone. They said the whole screen needed to be replaced again. They didnt make any other suggestion for repair. Well, I went to pick up my phone and took it to another repair shop. They let me know my screen was good, and there was no need for me to get it replaced. It just had come unglued. They fixed my phone for $5 when Double T wanted to charge me full price of $75!!!

Awesome! I called around before taking my iPhone 5 in to get the screen replaced and they were the cheapest. I was on my way out of town so I was worried, but Double T had it fixed in 15 minutes. They even gave me $5 off a glass protector so hopefully it doesnt break again.

Went in for Galaxy S8+ repair, and it was not assembled correctly, essentially voiding the waterproof feature, and they seem thoroughly unconcerned. Even though I paid 320 plus tax for a repair that they screwed up.

1) they fixed my iPhone screen and had it back to me while I waited, so maybe 10 minutes or so.2) definitely beat everybody else on their prices. Some other places are crazy expensive!3) cheap tempered glass screen protectors! $20 cheaper than the one I had just bought at best buy so I took it back!

Went to get my iphone 7 plus screen repaired and was very pleased with the customer service and friendliness! They got it done in less time then estimated. Only issue is the screen isnt as bright as the original however better than cracks everywhere! Best service for the price

Having had a pretty crummy week, I was sitting in the cardiac ICU waiting room looking at my dear friend feeling helpless to help ease her pain and worry regarding her mom. The day she got the call about her mothers ailment, she dropped her iPhone 6 and shattered the screen. A small simple gesture that I could help with. Matt with Double T came to the hospital waiting room and replaced the screen in about 10 minutes and put a tempered glass protector on the phone! The price was cheaper then others I had contacted and the service was great. I was very pleased with the service and promptness! Thank you Double T!!! I will be recommending for sure!!!

To whom this may concern:I was recently a customer of Double T Repair in Lubbock, Texas. I took an I Pad Mini into have the screen repaired. When I went in they quoted me a price of $89.00 and told me that they would repair it in no less than two weeks. I called repeatedly at the end of two weeks and they said they were waiting on parts. After a month and a half I went back to the store to get my I Pad, (which incidentally had still not been repaired) and they told me that I could either let them fix it for $289.00 or I would have to pay a restocking fee of $72.00.I never signed an agrement specifing a price of $289.00. Especially when the price of the device is valued at $329.00. I feel that they are trying to extort money from their customers and I refused to pay the restocking fee. I plan to take this matter to small claims court, as they are refusing to return my I Pad to me. I would like this matter to be of public record, because I feel that they have acted dishonestly. I have also filed this matter with the Better Business Bureau.Thank you for your consideration,

Dropped an iPod gen 4 for a battery replacement in October, still have not gotten it back. They kept telling me that the batteries were faulty and they sent them them back. When I tried to get a straight answer, they said the repair technician was out for the day and they would call me back the next day. This happened multiple times over the course of 5 months. I stuck with them because they were the only ones that seemed able to do it in all of the Lubbock area.

He put a fake apple screen on my phone. I went back to him and he claimed it was the original and the bad picture resolution having to do with my at&t service. LMAO? Its pathetic to fool people with prices and think theyre stupid. I personally wouldnt mind paying 20$ more to get the original ( or at least a decent quality).Also Ive had problems with the touch on the screen the same day I replaced it. The screen also shatters from the first time you drop it its ridiculous. BAD SERVICE. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I called yesterday, asking if they had the parts to replace my Galaxy S4 screen, and Matt was really honest and informative about how the glass is so thin, that its just easier to replace the LCD as well. I had problems with the touch screen already, which I blamed on the shattered glass, turned out that it had to do with a previous time that I had the glass replaced, by another shop.Anyway, I went ahead and decided to just have them replace the whole screen and LCD. They didnt have my color in stock, so they had it over-nighted!So, I dropped it off today around 2ish, and got it back at 4. :) The LCD and glass replacement totaled up to $160, with taxes. Really honest and cool guys, and my phone is better than ever! Even when I first got it, straight from Verizon, it had issues, and now its totally perfect!Thanks so much to the guys at Double T, youve saved me from the misery that is the iPhone 4. I missed 4G! :)

I have had super bad luck with my iPhone 5 for whatever reason but this guy saved the day. I have actually used them twice - both times they were fast, professional, and seemed very honest. I took my iPhone in for a cracked screen this past time, and I walked out 20 minutes later with a new screen. I always recommend them!

I paid 400 dollars for 2 note 3s they told me it would take a week to fix. It took them almost 4 weeks not to mention every time I called to check on it they could never give me any information. My phone lasted maybe 2 weeks after receiving it.. I know someone now getting their phone fixed going through the same thing. Wish I could have warned them before.

I took my sons ipad in a couple of weeks ago because Double T Repair is right across 34th from my wifes restaurant. Im glad I did. They did a nice job. No little scratches or pry marks to show that it was worked on. It just looks new. They also gave me a great deal on a new case for the next time that my son drops his ipad. Thanks!

Pretty sure many of these 5-star reviews are fake and are only here to promote the business.A few years ago, I came here and asked how much it would cost to push the screen of my iPhone 5 back into place. Instead of giving me a quote, the person at the register took my phone, went to the back and charged me $27. What if I didnt have the money for this repair? I came here looking for a quote and he didnt give one to me upfront.Thats not even my last experience with the store. I got my boyfriends screen for his iPhone 6 repaired here for $130. Since getting repaired here, his phone has been having various problems from his GPS signal not working from time to time to his screen brightness randomly changing. We took it back to the store the day after getting it repaired and they pretended to fix the problem. They told us they had reset the GPS, but his GPS was still being problematic after the fact.Yesterday, the backlight to his phone went out. He took it back to Double T Repair, they looked at it and told him there was nothing they could do about it.Poor customer service. Take your phones to get fixed anywhere else but here.EDIT IN RESPONSE TO OWNERS RESPONSE:YES, they did take and fix my phone without my permission because I remember walking into the shop that day not planning on spending any money because I wouldnt get paid until next week. I handed my phone to the person at the register and asked him how much it would cost to fix it and he fixed it BEFORE giving me a quote.ALSO: the backlight issue was never resolved as my boyfriends backlight is STILL out and has been out for a week. There was NEVER a point in time after he brought the phone back that his backlight started working again.Will add more edits as the owner addresses the issues I had with this shop.

I was trying to find their current pricing which led me to this page, and I kinda laughed while reading the previous reviews. I know from previously having my own business that most people will not seek out and post positive reviews if they had a good experience, but people will ALWAYS post a bad review no matter whos the blame falls on.Anyways... I have had two things repaired by these guys. An iPhone 5 and yes, an iPad mini. At the time that I got my iphone 5 repaired they were $80 cheaper than anyone else in town, and they did it in like an hour. It looked like new afterwards! They did such a good job that I took my ipad mini in about a month after to get it fixed. I called in first and was told the price for the repair so Im not sure where that other person got $89 from. Either way, it sounded steep to me so I called around to a couple of other places. One place I called was more expensive, and the other was cheaper. I figured I would call Double T back and see if they would match the cheaper price...and you know what...? They did! Saved me a trip across town.I took time out of my day to write this because I just wanted you guys to know I appreciate the repairs that you have done for me. One word of advice is to work on your communication skills though.November 2014 edit: I just took my iphone 5s in for repair and their price was only $89 and they fixed it in 15 minutes!! I cant encourage you strongly enough to take your business to any other repair store besides this one!About two years ago, my sons iPod had a broken screen, so I brought it to Double T, and they had it repaired the next day. I was pleased with the service, so when it broke again earlier this year, I took it back there. Big mistake.I dropped it off in early May. I called about it every few days, because we were moving to another town in June. Same answer every time, I dont know the status of repairs. My technician works offsite. Ill have him call you. I never heard from a technician. When I asked the man on the phone if it seemed like a poor way to do business for the person in contact with the public to have absolutely no idea what was happening in his own store, he got defensive and angry.This went on for over three months. THREE MONTHS to fix an iPod screen. Finally, at the beginning of August, I told him that if I didnt get it back, I was going to contact the police and the BBB. That finally got the technician to call me back, but he told me that he had no idea where the iPod was. They offered to send us a different, refurbished iPod in its place, which we agreed to. It arrived last week. The one we left with them in May was 16 GB. The one they mailed to us is 8 GB. These guys are incompetent liars and crooks. Do not take your devices to them.
