So i live in Houston, TX and this dealership had a specific vehicle I wanted. Dan Bryant made the car buying over the phone fast and easy and he treated me like one of his daughters instead of some quick buying customer. I flew in and he picked me up from the airport and took me to dealership..There was no high pitch pressure and he went over everything on the car. I would hands down recommend this place to anyone inside or outside of Lubbock.

The service writer was curt and unfriendly.I asked a couple simple questions before my service and after, the response from several employees was “I don’t know “.The waiting area was untidy, not updated, and an uncomfortable place to wait for a vehicle.When my vehicle was ready, the service writer yelled out my name, instead of walking into to waiting area to call out my name.Very unprofessional customer service.This is my first Buick I’ve owned, love the vehicle, but I was very disappointed in this service experience.

For the last year or more my car was showing “low tire” from time to time so each time i took my car in for service I ASK for tire to be checked-never done. Jim reached out and asked me to call him so I could take the car back to check tire after last service. Left message but no response- meanwhile I got message on car and email my LEFT rear tire was low so I attempted to put air in it but the alarm kept going off-sensors not in sync- almost blew me and the tire up. Took to mechanic near my home and he checked and added air to LEFT FRONT. Got same message shortly before this visit so went and I saw Jeff and added air to correct tire AND FOUND SMALL nail he suggested I bring the car back so they could fix it. So I went back and they fixed it and I hope they synchronized the sensors to the CORRECT TIRES. Jeff was very courteous.

11 days, only communication was when I called. Attitude about getting the car there at opening time on the Tuesday morning. Was not looked at for at least 9 days. 51 miles of test driving! Yes receipt was incorrect!!! Mileage wrote wrong on purpose. Owners manual is missing from the glove box. Car was full of mosquitoes. Dealer customer service agent never contacted me after gm told me they would. GM hasn’t followed up.

The overall purchase of my vehicle was smooth. However the service department is terrible. I brought my truck into get serviced on 8/25/21, basic oil change and tires rotation that was free of charge due to buying the truck there. When I received it back the technician who did my tire rotation brutally scratched my custom wheels on my trail boss. The managers never answer your calls even when you leave voicemails. So I went up there and the service guy David asked for a receipt so they could try to replace them. It’s been almost two weeks and nobody will answer my calls, return voicemails or give an update. They are in stock so the poor excuse of not being able to find them Is unacceptable. If you have anything nice don’t trust them to take care of it.

Made appointment 1 week ahead for tire alignment. Arrived 40 minutes early. Called dealership around 5:00pm to check status since vehicle was dropped off at 8:20am. We were informed that the work hadnt even been started. We were told it would be the next day. No phone call with status update all day on either day. Finally at 5:00pm on 2nd day we called and we were told it would be ready at approx 5:45- just prior to closing. Why schedule appointment ? No customer service. Not happy

From the start of my process to locate a truck, keeping me posted on estimated delivery, to final delivery of the truck and aftercare. questions, concerns etc. Tim (finance) was awesome as well.This had to be the absolute best vehicle buying experience I have ever had!Scoggin Dickey was transparent on their pricing. no surprise addendums of $5k to $10k like other dealers are doing right now because we can. Felt like I was doing the dealership a favor with my purchase. Had to completely work around the sales person. I Setup a time to come in and sign my paperwork and the sales person was off for the day and the paperwork wasn’t ready. I had to wait over an hour to sign. Zero follow up from my sales person…not even a text to thank me for my purchase. Don’t even get me started on the trade process. Not a fan and I probably wouldn’t have completed a the transaction if this wasn’t the only dealership near by with the vehicle I wanted.

-1 for taking over two hours for an oil change and tire rotation, -1 for trying to sell me additional things that would take another hour to complete, -1 for the mechanic leaving the vehicle smelling like an oil refinery, -2 from the mechanic leaving a stain on the upholstery, +2 for the parts department always going above and beyond. Tevin Holmes was my salesman and did an outstanding job. My only complaint was that a heavy hispanic employee had the audacity to make me sit outside in 110 degree weather so he could lock the doors at 5. Tevin Holmes was busy getting me diesal in my new truck and washing the truck I just bought, Tevin was also locked out and had to walk around the building. I would have left if I didnt already sign contract after that treatment from hispanic guy.

Went there for a oil change in my newer truck and when the service was complete I started driving away. Then I noticed the display screen wasnt coming on so I pulled back in and had them check it for me. The guy said it was disconnected after popping of the glove box door to check it out. How the heck did it disconnected during my service appt for an oil change. Of course they couldnt answer that question. I wouldnt trust them for a second, and they will never take the coupons you get in the mail so total waste of time.

Do not trust there online appraisal platform on there website. The number given was the only reason for me running a credit app, only for them to come in eight thousand under from there online appraisal. Plus they continued to run my credit after I told my salesman I was no longer interested.

Took my Buick in for my 4th oil change/tire rotation. Scheduled an appointment and let them know I would wait for my vehicle. After 4 hours I started walking back and forth in front of the service window until the guy came out to check on me. They brought my vehicle up shortly after that. Realized after I got home that they hadn’t actually rotated the tires. Waited 3 hours the time before and when I asked how my vehicle was coming the manager told me he wasn’t aware I was waiting for my vehicle. They seem to be getting worse.

Great Job! Scoggin-Dickey! I made the mistake of going to Gene Messer first. I am visiting family in Lubbock and my check engine light came on during our drive from Kentucky. Gene Messer said it would be 4 days before they would even look at it. Being from out of town I was hoping for help and received a rude awaking. GOOD NEWS. I went to Scoggin-Dickey Chevrolet and David in service was fantastic. He did say it could be a couple days. I said ok. Literally 2 hours later called me and said it was fixed. Now that is service!

I have a 2020 silverado I purchased it in October They aligned at 26000 miles it ok said they fixed the whistle in the door but made it worse this is the second time they worked on door and have not gotten it fixed yet. Driving highway speeds and whit the wind blowing as it does in west Texas there is a horrible whistle on drivers side. This is my service vehicle so when it’s in the shop I’m not making money so if they would fix it I wouldn’t have to be down time

Ordered a part online from the dealership and unfortunately there was a mix-up on their end and the delivery was delayed. The service manager, Jim Keesee, contacted me directly, assured me that the problem had been fixed and refunded my total purchase price, including shipping. Problems will arise with any business, but it is reassuring to know that this company took responsibility and went out of their way to make me whole as a customer. If I need another part, I will again order from them, with the knowledge that even if a problem were to occur, their service department will make every effort to fix it

Mitchell, with Scoggin-Dickey did a great job making the buying process smooth, easy, and quick. I dont live in the immediate Lubbock area so I didnt have the luxury of shopping in person. I was able to do most of the process over the phone, and then come in and finish up. I spent maybe 2 hours there.. All the staff I interacted with were friendly as well. I will definitely consider them for either my next purchase or my wifes. I also would highly recommend them to anyone of my friends! Great job!

Car salesmen get a bad rap. But Casey Dixon is one of the best. He goes above and beyond. He isnt naggy or pushy. He stayed later to make sure that we had time to test drive cars. You can see that he really cares about his customers and making sure they purchase the correct car.We finally found one we wanted and he helped us get the color we wanted. We asked for our car to be serviced and looked over thoroughly before we drove with our daughter to her college, Oregon State University. When we left 4 days later the check engine light came on and it was discovered that the turbo charger was failing. We just bought the car in February, so the issue wasnt detected then, nor 4 days before we left. It was a very expensive almost $2,000 expense to us that we are not happy about.
