I had gotten several reliable people recommend Peñas including a brother. So I took my jeep after a few questions. I was told they would look at it and call me with a quote. I never got a call from them. I made several calls A year and a half later. I asked if I could pick it up and take it elsewhere. They were very good about setting it next to the dumpster for me to pick up. Just saying. I have discovered that if you want a good mechanic to stick to being good make him sign something, look you in the eye, make him promise, do not pay until you are 100% satisfied...

This man is amazing! I had my alternator go out on my car and he was very quick and professional. I had my car back the next day! He was very reasonable with his price and tried to get me the best deal on the part. I would highly recommend. His shop is very welcoming on the inside. I am a 19 year old girl and i felt very confident going to him for my repairs! Highly recommend!!!!!!!

My son called to ask about cam shafts on a Ford Mustang.Person who answered was rude and laughed said he would pass laughed again.They do do this kind of work it’s not like he was going to ask to put them on free.They are not professional at all, they do this kind of work often on older model cars than my sons, all he asked was a simple question & the caller who answered said no immediately as soon as he heard what kind of car my son owned, very rude & non professional, no reason was given either.

Had to take my sons car to him to get fixed he got on it that day and had it fixed in about 3 or 4 hours and he was very honest and the price was very reasabable i will recommend him to any one in Lubbock.

So we took our car there on Monday because we were having some electrical issues he thought was due to the storm turns out that the car was done Thursday night but no one called us to tell us it was done and throughout the process they didnt call us when the Diagnostics was done so we waited two days before we heard anything other than that the car ended up getting fixed we paid a total of $215 and some not change for a wire and a left turn signal

I take my company vehicles and personal vehicles to Mark at Peñas automotive and performance, honest and the best prices in town, highly recommend! This is the only place I will go take my vehicles.

This is one of the most reasonable mechanics in Lubbock went to 3 other mechanics who wanted to charge $300 to install a drive shaft CV joint and Penas charged me $105 plus extra grease. In my opinion Mark is Lubbocks best and reasonable mechanic and if youre a college student dont go any where else they try to take you for all you have.

Dropped car off Friday at 8, said theyd check it out and call me that morning. At 4:00 I called them and they said they were just about to look at and would call me shortly. At 6:00 I drive by and they said they got busy and it would be Monday morning. Monday afternoon no call yet so I call them at 3:30. We got busy and were about to look at it so well call you shortly - no callback Tuesday I show up at 8 and they still havent looked at it. I told him I was there to pick it up instead so he drives it around, hands me the keys and walks off. No apology for wasting my time and holding my car for four days. Every time I went by there was nobody in the shop area working on anything which explains why they never looked at my car.

Never had a better experience, always honest, on time with work performed with a honest price .
