Excellent strongman/powerlifting/Olympic lifting gym. Welcoming environment for all skill levels. LOTS of strongman equipment and the most squat racks Ive seen in one place. Easily the best gym Ive been to.

When I moved to the area I was looking for a new non-commercial gym. I was looking for a place with a culture of getting better and the equipment with which to make it happen. Shortly after moving to the area I walked into the SBC and was greeted by the owner Bobby. Before discussing prices or anything of the such he gave me a walking tour of the facilities and asked me questions about myself and what I hope to achieve. His interest in his clients and members is genuine. He also does personal training sessions and you can tell from the mans physique he knows what hes talking about. So listen up. The facilities are perfect for improving yourself in anyway you see fit. Here you will NEVER have to wait for a squat rack haha. The gyms equipment definitely caters to the strongman/powerlifting/Olympic lifting crowd but its not at all intimidating. Bobby has instilled a culture of family and respect. Its a very close community that you will be accepted into almost immediately. Even if I dont know the person someone is always ready and willing to give me a spot or give me some advice. There is also an on site Physical Therapist/Trainer named Brett. After dislocating my shoulder I wanted to get back into lifting heavy so I had a consultation with Brett. He set me down and went over my medical history, went through an examination of range of motion and strength. Then he proceeded to show me exercises to ease back into the lifting world and make sure I dont risk reinjury. Its been a year since the injury and so far so good. Brett also does training seminars and has a YouTube channel you should subscribe to. Also occasionally Bobby/Brett will bring in there dogs. Deadlifts & dogs? Can you ask for anything better? There is no other gym I would rather train at than SBC. It simply has the best equipment, community and personnel.

Excellent gym with tons of strength training equipment. This is a gym for people of all ages and you will see that from its members. Barbell exercising is important for every person as it makes you harder to kill than weak people and more useful in general. Most gyms map their floors with one squat rack and dozens of elliptical. Bobby has his gym decked out with multiple power racks, some of the best benches Ive used, and a variety of different bars, implements, and gets new equipment when requested by his customers. Strongman training had been something I was interested in and this gym had everything to get a beginner started and able to compete.

I was in Westford, MA this past week for a training class for work. I didnt want to not train for the week, so I searched the web for a gym closest to my hotel because the local LA Fitness gyms were not close enough as far as I was concerned.SBC came up in the area by my hotel, so I figured Id check it out after class/work Monday evening. I had discussed over email with Bobby paying for a week, and his cost for the week was acceptable.I thoroughly enjoyed my week at SBC. Bobby and his staff are sincere, genuine and extremely friendly, including the dogs! When work takes me to Westford, Ill spend my week training at SBC!Thanks Bobby!

This is my second home. A great atmosphere with a bunch of hard-working people who motivate you to better yourself. Owner is always looking to improve the gym for his customers. Whether you are into strongman, powerlifting, olympic weightlifting, or strength and conditioning programs, all the necessary equipment is here to train. They have some nationally ranked athletes who train here that are motivation enough, working out next to them.
