He prepared our business and personal taxes and despite the Covid madness, had them done in time for the April deadline. Since then, he has promptly responded to questions about our business and the impact of the CARES act. Highly recommend.

These folks are great! Eric has been extremely helpful in various situations and breaks it down so it becomes easily understandable. Often you get what you pay for. Sure there are cheaper services out there, but the quality and professionalism can in no way compare.

Mike has spent so much time explaining the details of our tax situation with me and has ensured that we completely understand everything. So disapointing. We were referred by a family member. Had an intial call in March 2020- right before all pandemic madness hit. Provided all documents to them within a week or so. Weve got a prety simple tax situation. But, maybe thats why we were left at the bottom of the pile? Weeks went by and didnt hear back. Numerous emails and phone calls made, none returned. Standard April deadline passed with no word, no inquiry as to whether we were ok with doing the later covid extended deadline in July. I thought this was strange. We hit June, nothing. We hit July and were told repeatedly over the phone its on his desk, it will be done by tomorrow etc. A couple of tomorrows came and went. Never happened. We were then told (literally on the day of the deadline) not to worry and were assured than an extension would be filed for us. We trusted this. Then, a week later got an email saying sorry, we wont be able to do your taxes this year due to high volume, etc. Sheesh. Would have been nice to know 5 months ago. OK, so we went elsewhere, a lot of extra leg work, but got it done. Now, we recieve a letter from the State of Colorado assessing a fee for a late state return because NO EXTENSION WAS EVER FILED. Honestly, more perplexed than annoyed here. How can this even happen? Would be great if they sent us a check for that late fee but I am not counting on it.

I have used Martin Hepner to do my taxes for nearly 40 years. I used to do them myself but Marty asked me to bring in my previous years returns for him to check over and if he didnt save me any money he wouldnt charge me. Well, several hundreds of dollars in savings later, Marty has done my taxes ever since!!
