Great value on a oil change. They didnt try to up sale with a bunch a defects with my vehicle like most shops would. Friendly and professional service.Also, as a side note I had my vehicle towed a few months back for a bad starter. The part was expensive but they even took the time to look online(Amazon) to get the part shipped to the shop to help save me money.

Paid almost 300 for some battery cables they said I needed then had to go back a month later and they then tell me that it’s the alternator now and quoted almost 900 ! It was the alternator all along, other negative reviews stated price gouging and that is exactly what they do here. I won’t go back.

Im thoroughly pleased with the work they did on my vehicle. The inspection results were sent to me via text message with a link to view the diagnosis. They replaced my alternator and recharged my battery.

My 2013 Ram truck broke a value spring damaging the piston and finally the motor. I had it towed to three places before finally going to Honest-1 For the first time. They replaced the motor within one week and was $4000. less than the other two places. Lee was great to work with, the service was outstanding and I plan on only using Honest-1 from now on.

I got two new tires to replace two rear worn down tires. They said they matched the tire tread. They did not. There was a much better match in the General tire lineup. One of the tires of the brand new replacements is leaking. Obviously, they didnt check to see if the air held. They rotated the tires too, but all my tire sensors are now backward. Brakes and rotors were expensive, but at least they seem okay. They were friendly, but being nice doesnt cut it. Quality is what matters. Extremely disappointed as I wanted to find a place I could trust that was cheaper than the dealership. Now Im regretting not going to Carmargo.

They diagnosed my engine light as a generic misfire and recommended cleaning the fuel system and injectors at $275 to resolve the problem. After performing the services didn’t fix the problem they said the sparks plugs were the fault and would be another $350!So I paid $275 in services that were not needed. I told them they would get negative feedback and they didnt offer to resolve the problem.

I hope this would not be deleted like other peoples has been.I had an oil change in early February and was told that I needed rear ball joints, transmission fluid was black and needed to be changed and brake fluid had 2% water in it along with my rear supporters were rusted. Took it for another opinion and was told since my car has 139,000 miles on it, trans fluid does not get changed. 2% water in the brake fluid is normal and none of my ball joints was loose and needed to be changed along with my rear supporters are rusted but not going to be replaced. But my Serpentine Belt was cracked and that was all wrong with my car. There was a couple of drops of oil around the transmission and thats what they were looking at. Replaced my Serpentine Belt for $139.00 . Saved myself again loads of money on things that does not need replaced..taking my 2006 Mustang else where from now on.

Had a MAJOR car issue, was short on time and looking for a repair shop that I was comfortable with using. I found this shop via Google and seemed like a reputable place. Had my vehicle towed there on a Tuesday afternoon, spoke to Kammie on the phone and sounded like they knew what they were doing. They had my car repaired the following week and did a great job putting it all back together CORRECTLY!! While the price was higher than I wanted, they did an amazing job and were actually quick with getting it back to me given the extent of the work needed. Assuming all things work properly on my vehicle I’ll give 5 stars all day! Thank you

I scheduled an appointment for an oil change in my van using one of their discount coupons. When I arrived I was told me they did not have the 10W40 oil recommended for my van, and they didnt have a lift available for the van, so I had to reschedule. When I arrived two days later for my second appointment I was told they wanted charge more than double for the 10W40 oil claiming it is no longer broadly use, which is absolutely not true. There were to many twists and turns in what they told me, so I just left.I feel like I was not treated professionally and that there were games being played. Net, I dont trust them and will never have any work done there.

Just moved to the Loveland Ohio area and was looking for a quality place to have my vehicles serviced. I read the reviews online and this certainly seemed like the place.When I called the gentleman I spoke to about the problems my wife’s car was experiencing he was very forthright about the issue and the possible “fixes.” He even offered a suggestion that wouldn’t make him a dime!! Turns out he was right.During this same phone call, I scheduled an oil change. Once I arrived, everyone was very welcoming and helpful. The oil change and inspection for any future work was done in a very timely manner!I am confident that I’ve found my new mechanics and would absolutely recommend Honest-1 Auto Care to anyone else!

I came in to change my transmission fluid to find out that I never have to. The front desk receptionist is very knowledgeable, friendly, and helped me understand proper wording for setting something up here soon for my company. I highly recommend supporting this company in Loveland. If youre not going anywhere, consider getting your car serviced at Honest-1. I called to make an appointment and then left my car overnight to limit contact.They have increased social distancing by setting up a green tape line, rearranging furniture, and stretching the credit card machine away from the employees computers. They have signs asking you to reschedule if youre sick and to turn off your heat/air ventilation systems before leaving your car with them. They had a giant tub of hand sanitizer for customers and offered me a bleach wipe when I picked up my car. Additionally, the men working on cars, were wearing gloves and taking additional precautions.Honest-1 has worked on our cars in the past and weve been pleased. Their prices are fair and they do quality work. They text an inspection report to your phone so you can review their findings and recommendations off site. Additionally, they have a key drop if you only want to go inside once.I bleach wiped my drivers seat, steering wheel and handles before dropping off my car for their benefit and they very much appreciated my consideration. Im not sick, but they are taking steps to ensure my safety and I was happy to take steps to ensure theirs as well.

Scheduled an appointment to get my oil changed and tires rotated. Very quick and friendly service! During the complimentary inspection they found that my tire tread was even and my tires did not have to be rotated. Saved a bit of money I wasnt expecting to save. They also sent me a text message detailing every part of the inspection that they did, which was useful and made for a very transparent interaction.

They were the most helpful shop I have ever worked with, providing answers for my 2004 Saturn when 2 other shops refused to look at it. I would recommend them to everyone!

I have been to Honest 1 Auto several times for various services needed on my car. My most recent was for a noise I was hearing while driving that was concerning. When I brought my car in, it was a quick check in as always and I grabbed one of the free beverages and snacks to enjoy while I waited. It’s a very nice waiting room with a tv that you can actually change the channel on. The woman at the front desk was very nice and came up to me a few times to update me. They were very thorough and actually had a few people test drive it to try to work out where the noise was coming from. They took the tire off to inspect the inside and did everything they could to figure it out. It turned out to be something minor which was a huge relief! When the woman at the front had me come up to the desk to check out, I was told the total was twice what I had been told originally. She could see the look on my face and asked if it was fair for the work that was done. It was a misunderstanding on my part but I couldn’t afford to pay what she asked and without even telling her that she said it was no problem and that she would do it for the price I was told. They were very helpful and kind at Honest 1 Auto, I will be returning in the future!

Fantastic repair shop! Called for what my check engine light said was a belt slipping, the shop test drove the car, did an inspection and found a wire chewed by a rodent, they had a knowledgable tech do the electrical repair, cleared codes, and VIOLA. They likely saved us hundreds of dollars, will be bringing all my vehicles here moving forward, The name is so spot on, HONEST hard working people.

I’ve moved around quite a bit interacting with many different auto companies that have serviced my vehicle. The one thing they all have in common, good customer service, educating me on the needs of my vehicle, helping me understand my cars needs. They all typically vary in price, but for the most par, they’re pretty much aligned in price. NOT THIS PLACE!!I recently moved to Loveland and my hope was this would be my new local mechanic for all of my needs considering they were local. Here’s what I found:1.) I was talked down to by their staff getting a lecture instead of an education on why their recommendation was the best option for my vehicle. Unfortunately after going to get two other opinions, I found their recommendation was way over the top and not needed.2.) I asked the other two second opinions to quote me for the same work “if” that’s what my car needed. It was half the cost, by both 2nd opinions. Hundreds of dollars.This is my first online review in my lifetime, but I felt the need to share so others don’t get taken advantage of. Unprofessional sales / customer service with price gauging.Go somewhere else...

Selling my vehicle and the person interested had an inspection done at this place. Person didnt purchase my vehicle and was nice enough to share their findings. Said I needed a Brake Flush, Coolant Flush, Air Filter and rear Shock was leaking. Thats wierd because I just had the Brake Flush and Air Filter done 10k miles ago. Coolant looks bright green with no setiments. Climbed under the vehicle and couldnt find a rear Shock leaking. Ive got pictures if you dont believe me. They did say my oil was overfilled and that was true, at least they got something right. Id be careful if you go to this place, seems to me that they are taking advantage of people.....

We have been to Honest-1 several times in the past to have oil changed, etc. The last time we were in, they noted we had an oil leak and offered to put dye in the oil and find where the leak from coming from.The diagnosis was a bad oil pan gasket as well as an oil filter casting gasket were leaking. However, my go-to mechanic quoted a much lower price, so I went to them.My go-to mechanic just called and asked who told me my gaskets were leaking as the only oil leak is due to the oil filter not being attached properly so the filters gasket didnt seal like it should.We wont be back.

Ive been taking my car here for oil changes for over a year and they always do a great job and are super friendly. The reason for my 1 star review is that they are con-artists. Every time Ive come in they give me a list of things that need repaired - which was fine because it was like a free little diagnostic and I was able to get any necessary things repaired myself. The last time I went in is what prompted me to write this review. They gave me a laundry list that totaled $4.000 in repairs that they lead me to believe were URGENT - going as far as to say it was time to consider if I wanted to make the investment in my car or to go get a new car! I was very concerned and took my car to mechanics I trust and they laughed and told me never to go to Honest-1 again. They take advantage of customers that dont have the background in auto-mechanics to know when theyre being swindled.

I had a battery replaced. They got me in quick. They tested the battery to be sure that was the issue (even though I asked for a battery and they could have just done that). The price was fair. And, the waiting area is nice with good amenities (Wifi, TV, comfortable chairs, drinks & snacks).

I have been a customer of Honest One Loveland since they opened. Curtis and the Ladies at the desk are always courteous and respectful, they take time to explain the repairs to you. In every instance except one my car was ready when promised. They have stood by their warranty when required and the customer waiting area is clean and offers all the amenities you could want. If you’re looking for a repair center you can trust, this is the place and their name says it all, they are the Honest One!

Im a fairly mechanically-educated teen who went here for an oil change and to have the brake booster inspected for a possible oil leak.Heres what I appreciated: I was given complimentary snacks and drinks, and transparent pricing. I enjoyed thorough documentation and a clean facility.Heres what I didnt: It took them a while to even move my car; like most places, they were seemingly behind schedule. I reiterated a few times to have the brake booster looked at. In fact, one of the mechanics sent the receptionist to ask me what I meant by the brake booster/vacuum pump (something a mechanic should know) during my wait, and yet I received no feedback about it at the end of my visit. When I left, I was told that my valve cover gasket was leaking oil and should be replaced. This would be several hundred dollars. When I got home, I wiped all the oil and dirt off the engine head and valve cover seal area. 500 miles and a few months later and its still totally clean. The way I see it, either the mechanic was incompetent in determining the source of the oil and/or the integrity of the seal, or they attempted to scam me. Either is possible as the mechanic did not understand what a brake booster was and the cost of the oil change was ridiculous (my fault on that one for agreeing to it). Not cool.

First time we had a car serviced here and couldn’t be happier with the results. Cost was reasonable and the quality of service was excellent.

I was very happy with the costumer service both over the phone and in person. Needed my brakes replaced and I appreciated that they only did the work that I came in for, without trying to push me into an upsell situation. They finished the job in one day and the final cost was the same as the estimate.

This is the one place I feel really comfortable getting my car taken care of. The techs and service people here are friendly, on time and keep me informed on what my car needs - while not trying to hard sell me on anything. I feel like I can trust them to not overcharge me for anything I do not need. Very happy with the service here so far and I hope to stay a long term customer!

I took my car to honest 1 after my car had been broken down for months. I knew there was going to be a lot wrong with it. They fixed my car extremely quickly and kept me updated on everything going on. They worked with me on payments. They are true to their name and are always extremely kind when I talk to them. I will keep taking my cars here in the future.

Currently getting my car serviced here. I needed a new wheel bearing. I called other places and the other places had quotes maybe a little cheaper but were all so slammed they really had no convenient times to do the work. Honest 1 was able to timely diagnose it and then give me a window of time that worked for me to do the repairs. They just informed me the repair is almost complete as I am sitting in their lobby. It’s not the the fastest service nor the cheapest - but is still timely. They seem knowledge and customer service is great with the lobby refreshments and the shuttle they have to pick you up and take you to your home while they do the work. All in all you get what you pay for. You pay a little extra but you get a little extra creature comforts. If you want to pay a little less and not have creature comforts in the lobby/shuttle service go elsewhere.

I am glad I brought my 2016 Ford Focus to Honest-1 for servicing. The staff were very friendly, the service was prompt and the price was very reasonable. I called Ford first but they were brisk and could not fit me in within the week for a simple 10,000 mile service and would not answer a simple question like is there any other Ford service centers around?. I decided to call Honest-1 because I had their pamphlet in my mailbox. Honest-1 got me in the very next day and they even fixed my bumper and water sprout free of charge. Ill go to them in future. Thank you, Honest-1 for such great service and hospitality.

I simply dropped my car off and picked it up, so I only spent about 3 minutes total in the office but I am extremely impressed with the level of customer service! Everyone was so sweet and the atmosphere was very comfortable. I am happy to live so close to Honest-1. :)

Ive been using Honest-1 since moving to Loveland about 2 1/2 years ago. Every time has been for oil changes except once for spark plugs. I love the online scheduling, and the counter people are always very friendly and helpful. Most recently, after performing an inspection after during my oil change, they came out to tell me several issues they identified. This wasnt the usual hard sell with lots of zeroes at the end. Instead it was just FYI, and the inferring that they can do the work if desired. Much more pleasant than making you feel cheap because you arent willing to spend a ton fixing every little thing.Ive only had one less-than-great experience, which was the spark plug job. It cost much more than I thought it would, took a long time (truck was left overnight when I expected it to be done same day), and communication was poor (I had to call to find out it wouldnt be done same day).All that said, I would recommend Honest-1 to a friend.

The front desk personnel are helpful and friendly but the pricing is less than “honest.” I was quoted a price for tire repair that was nearly four times what I ended up paying elsewhere.

Update- 3 years later and they’ve lost my repeat business. They were servicing 2 vehicles of ours. I simply needed a quote on something very general and it was refused without an appointment, after their shop being the ones to point out the need initially and offering no quote at that time. I had to go elsewhere and will continue to since they clearly didn’t want the business.Original- Simple synthetic oil change and tire rotation. They were pretty quick even though they had issues getting off the filter cover from the last garage that strong armed it on there. Pretty nicely stocked waiting area. Friendly staff. Clean and welcoming. This was just my first experience and I will keep reviewing each visit so be sure to check back!

I recently had some work done at honest one in Loveland. In the technician that was working on my car told me that he has no experience whatsoever fresh out of high school never even put oil in a car. I said excuse me as he worked on my car. He said he doesnt have no experience Auto Repair he he went to all the auto repair shops in the area no one would hire him but he was so happy that Honest One hired him and gave him a chance to practice on customers cars at $100 per hour is your car in good hands. Is that really the honest ones

My experience with this team was great. I took in my older car that had been sitting for most of the past year, to see if I could get it road ready again. Not only did they do a quick analysis, as scheduled, but they were super honest as well. The technician immediately noticed some electrical concerns, and things that would need addressed before even looking at the bigger under-carriage issues. They were direct, and actually advised that I NOT put money into the vehicle. Gave me referrals to a few places if I was in the market for a new car, etc. How refreshing to meet an honest mechanic team. They could easily have charged me for many things, and taken me on a long journey down a never ending rabbit hole with a bad vehicle. I took their advice, and bought myself a new vehicle yesterday. These guys have all my business when I need regular maintenance on my new vehicle in the future.

Was told my car had a costly oil leak ($800) and needed a complex evap system repair ($1500). Took it for a second opinion and they found no leaking oil and fixed the evap system for $300. Honest-1 would have charged me $2000 extra. Not sure if they are dishonest or just don’t know what they are doing. Woman at the front was very friendly and helpful but still, one star.

Was frankly extremely surprised. Had to have a pricey repair done to my car and actually they were the lowest on price. But the service was impeccable I dropped my car off the morning and had it thats afternoon by 4 p.m. could not have had a better service for the money and frankly the fact that its only 5 minutes from my house means that Im going to go back there if I need anymore auto repairs. Definitely a place to check out look into and keep in mind when any auto repair comes to mine.

People were very nice, shop was clean, waiting area very comfortable, and I was in and out pretty quickly with no appointment. Mechanic, Steve, was very good about answering all my questions and explaining what needed to be done and even better - what didnt. The receptionist, Nicole, was great making sure I was taken care of and happy. I will be back but hopefully not too soon :)

This place is a total scam. Brought my car in for a break inspection. Staff was nice and the facilities are beautiful. When they called to let me know what I needed they gave me a very detailed list and the final price. Sounded ok but I wanted to double check. Called my old place and read them the list. They gave me an estimate that was $500 LESS than Honest 1. I called Honest back and explained. They immediately said they have wiggle room in their prices and took $100 off. What?! I asked why they wouldnt just start with the lower price and the guy said he didnt know but that they always charge more at first. Then I asked why it was still going to cost me $400 more than my old place. They had no explanation. Ended up taking it to my old place instead. For the exact same repair I saved $400!!!

I have had 2 tire replacements performed and they were courteous and always pleasant to interact with. The work was also done quickly each time to get me back to driving normally. Their price as been stated isnt the best around, but given how quick they can get to the work this is probably worth it.

I brought in an old truck that Im working on, the guys let me get in there with them and showed me the ins and outs and then sent me on my way with out charging me a cent and let me do the work at home! Awesome place, Ill make sure they get their fair share of business out of me!! Super friendly and honest as the name implies.

As Ive said earlier, I have been here several times, and each time I have been completely satisfied with the workmanship, the helpful attitude of the management and service technicians, and the price. Fair prices and great customer service! Dealing with car maintenance is not one of my favorite activities, but the staff at Honest-1 is friendly and professional. We had an oil change and later got new brake pads and rotors. Shuttle service is helpful and convenient, and the facilities are pleasant if you can wait.

My 17 year old daughter made an appointment 3 months ago to get an oil change and a tire rotation (we had a coupon for a free tire rotation). When she arrived, they “looked” at the tires and told her she didn’t need to get her tires rotated - they were fine. Then about 2 weeks later they email saying she needs her tires rotated! So I called very upset, they said the next time she comes in, they would rotate her tires for free. She had an appointment Thursday (2 1/2 months after they told her no) to get her oil changed and tires rotated. They again told a 17 year old - “No, you don’t need your tires rotated- they look fine”. Your tires should be rotated every 5000-6000 miles! She is 17, she doesn’t know to demand they do a service they are supposed to do. The place is comfortable and nice but I do not think talking a 17 year old out of a service that was needed and requested (probably because they had to do it for free) is Honest.

This is by far the best customer service I have ever received at an auto shop. Every member of the staff were extremely friendly. To top it off, they were honest about what my car needed and did not push any service on me that I did not need. I had taken my Rav4 to the dealership a few weeks back and had it looked at. That dealership had estimated about $1500 worth of repairs. I had mentioned the areas of concern to Honest 1 and they said there were no issues. Just needed an oil change. Thank you for being honest. This is the only place where will be bring our car to get worked on going forward.

I love Honest-1 Auto Care! We have taken all 3 of our familys vehicles there for everything from oil changes and new tires to much bigger repairs. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful, and you are always treated with the utmost respect. I especially like the fact that I dont feel like I am being spoken to in a dumbed down manner because I am a woman, which is not always the case in the car repair industry. The waiting room is clean and spacious, and the shuttle service is super convenient. Their prices are great, and the customer service is topnotch! What more could you want?!

After that, I used them for an oil change and so other work on my car. They are quick to set up appointments and if you wait for your car, they are great about giving you updates. I would definitely recommend them!

Get an appointment before swinging by and all will be great. The staff is knowledgeable, nice, and sincere.I got an oil change from these guys at an incredibly reasonable price, they gave the car a thorough lookover, and provided an honest assessment as to what I needed/didnt need.Will be returning here every time I need something done going forward.I also hung out at their facility with my laptop during the oil change, used their wi-fi, and had a cup of coffee.

Great staff, they was busy and still got me done in a good timely manner. Only down fall there was a young girl working in shop area that was unsure how to lift my car properly! She bent my floor boards with the lift,she might still be in training.

Missed my appointment, then took 3 and a half hours for a few tasks. Undershot the done time but did not call to update me. When I called later they needed another hour. Very nice people and good customer service but not timely or organized.

I have used Honest-1 since they opened up in Loveland. Everything I have needed they have been able to do, or diagnose and send me to the dealer, if they thought it was under warranty. They have saved me time and stress, as well as money. Their front desk staff is so friendly, and their mechanics are knowledgable and accurate in their diagnostics. The mechanics will also take the time to come in and talk to you like a real person, instead of just relaying information back and forth. Wonderful group of employees.

Great new facility! Excellent waiting room and snacks/beverages. The master tech explained everything to me clearly and succinctly and recommended some future repairs for which to prepare.

Have done a lot of business with them and never had a problem with the work. Very fair prices and wont lead you on to things you dont need.

Really deserving of no stars. Really deserving of being investigated for fraud and scamming people. My last experience was the final straw after being overcharged for replacing my front breaks and front rotors. I provided the break pads and rotors. During the job they came out and told me I had the wrong rotors and that they needed to have the right ones delivered to the shop. $75 please. Okay? Sure. $312 was the final cost. To just replace pads and rotors with the ones I had provided them. Well I checked my transaction history from oreilys where I bought the pads and rotors. And I had the right ones when I went to honest auto to have them swapped. When they are open tomorrow they will be getting s phone call about my problem and a visit once Im out of work. This place is a joke and they should be ashamed to advertise they are affiliated with the better business bureau. Terrible people. Terrible shop. And this is just one experience with them. Dont ever go here and tell everyone you see to never come here. Total and complete scam. A joke

I Have been going to Honest One for about 2 yrs. now & will continue, I would also recommend them to everyone, WHY !! 1) I have always felt they have done a great job. 2) They give me a time limit & so far has met it. Sometime;s I would drop my car off in morning & get it back early. 3) I have talked to the Maint. crew & the customer service people & they all explain exactly what needs to be done & very friendly & courtois. 4) If they find anything that needs to be done that I was unaware of they will call & explain the issue without doing it first, sometimes I had to wait to get these done and they were very understandable. I have totally TRUST in Honest 1 in Loveland, Ohio.Thank You.

I truly and sincerely appreciated Kammie Bronner quick decision to help me out with removing a screw lodged in my left front tire and patched it up. Because of that action, I quickly decided Id want to trust my 1995 Ford Econoline E-150 Custom Van to have Honest-1 check out why it simply wouldnt start.
