When thinking about moving into Railway Flats don’t walk, instead run away from this establishment. It may look appealing from the ads and the tours but you dig a little deeper and move in you will realize it is hell living here. For a brand new build, there should be no problems with the building. However, my apartment had cracks on almost every single wall. My bedroom door could not be opened or shut. There was a live wire in the wall that had no urgency to be resolved. The ventilation between apartments is atrocious and considering we are living in a pandemic, it is a huge health concern. Management is no where to be found ever. It is so poorly operated I’m surprised they are still in business. If you have any concerns, they won’t be solved. Rather, you will be stalked and harassed at this property. I had to move out due to health concerns and there was zero care or consideration for these issues. The inside common areas are disgusting and maybe gets cleaned once every three months. The amenities have terrible hours so you can’t even utilize what you pay for. The common area fees are obscenely high for no reason. You want to park next to your building? Good luck finding an open spot; your best best will be parking in the field. From the lack of respect to all the issues within the buildings to the mismanagement of the property, never ever look into living here.

We moved to Railway Flats in March after quickly selling our home. The office staff made the experience of joining the Railway Flats community easy and enjoyable. It was seamless process from approval to getting the keys for the apartment and garages. In addition, we needed to renew our lease and the management worked through options as we needed a short term extension. The support of working through our questions and making sure our family and dog had an easy transition was outstanding. We love living in the community! The complex is clean and maintained to high standards. Plus, they have fun events for the family to enjoy. In the time we have been at Railway Flats we have enjoyed breakfast burritos, ice cream trucks, coffee, buckets and baskets of treats during the holidays, and pool parties. We are so happy we found Railway Flats to live!!

I would not recommend moving here. They have 3 visitor parking spots for hundreds of people. They tow your car, even if you are the lease holder and fill out all the proper forms.

Not worth the very high rents. The clothes washer does not work and clothes come out smelling sour even with multiple washes. Maintenance told us to fix it ourselves. When we first moved in there was a constant smell from the water heater and took multiple calls to fix. There is not enough parking and you can not have more than one car on their premises or it will be towed even if it is a work car and your personal car. Garages are not included. Security is not up to par and packages get stolen from right outside your door. Dishwasher does not run a full cycle completely all the time and is hit or miss. The location and pool are nice but save yourself some money and look elsewhere.

This is a great place to live! Awesome staff and amenities like the dog parks, pool area and clubhouse. Located in an upcoming area near two shopping centers what more could you ask for?!

Living here has been great. Moved here from NY in September everything sight unseen because of the pandemic. I worked with Amanda primarily via phone and email and everything went super smoothly. Sound proofing is fantastic. I didnt know I had a neighbor until a welcome mat showed up outside their door. Amenities are also amazing. The one downside is parking. Spots near my building fill up fast so if I work late I end up parking on the opposite side of the complex from my building. Minor inconvenience at worst.

We stayed at Railway Flats while we were transitioning between homes. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our dogs loved the dog park and the Chapungu trails across the street. We used the beautiful clubhouse several times as a gathering spot for our family. The maintenance team does a great job keeping the property clean and maintained. We couldnt have asked for a more efficient experience.

I have loved my time living at Railway Flats! The units are clean, well designed, and relatively affordable for the size, location, and amenities. The walls are sound proof enough to avoid hearing the neighbors, but Railway always has some sort of community event to look forward to in case you would like to get to know everyone! I moved in right at the beginning of this crazy pandemic, and the staff did a fantastic job of keeping us safe and in the loop, and ensuring we had access to the amenities as soon as it was safe. The parking lots could be slightly larger, but the layout of the units makes it so that you never have too far to walk to your building. I’d highly recommend any young family or working professional living or moving to the area to come check it out!

These are the BEST apartments that I have ever lived in! Everything about Railway Flats models excellence, from the floor plans & quality of the homes to the amenities to the location to the maintenance team (TOP NOTCH) to the front desk team to the Property Manager Rachael. Seriously the best and most friendly Property Manager you will come across who actually cares about your happiness as a resident and leads her team to show the same compassion for their residents. I only moved out of Railway Flats because my work took me out of state otherwise I would not have left, EVER. If you are looking for a great home that you will love with a Management Team that cares about you and does all sorts of fun activities for the community then look no further than Railway Flats!

I am really impressed with Railway flats. Management has been amazing. Maintenance is fast and friendly. Amenities are really nice but the global pandemic has put a hamper on that. Things are slowly opening back up though. Amazing Dog Park for an apartment complex.I am impressed with the square footage of the apartments. It seems like most new builds are going smaller but not here. They seem very well insulated. I never hear any neighbors. Electric bill has been super low. Energy efficiency everywhere.I have so many friendly neighbors. Railway flats felt like home on the first day.

I absolutely love this place! Everything is so well maintained, all the neighbors are super friendly, the leasing and maintenance staff are so welcoming and understanding! I cant imagine being at a better community then here! Thank you Railway for making me feel like I am home so far from home!

I set up an appointment to go and see these apartments, and they got back to me immediately! The leasing agents at the front were fantastic! They took me to look at all the apartments I was interested in and answered all of the questions I had, and if you haven’t see their amenities here..... then you are missing out! Great gym, great pool and hot tub and the club is amazing!!! Definitely go check them out!

I’ve experience nothing but respect and positive communication between the leasing staff and management team. Rachel, the community manager is so hard working, and always so helpful with any issues or questions I’ve had. It is amazing to see how far this brand new property has come, and with new builds there are going to be hiccups but Rachel and her entire staff have handled every bump thrown at them so gracefully. GREAT PLACE TO LIVE, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This is my third McWhinney property, due to moving all over for work. I have enjoyed each of them, and this one is my favorite. They are close to everything I need, including family and friends as well as having AMAZING amenities. The team here at Railway Flats is welcoming and always there for you if you need anything. Come by and check them out...you will fall in love too!

Living at Railway Flats has been a let down since Day 1. Apartments are not cleaned prior to move in and still dirty from the new construction. It is common for cabinet doors to be stripped, caulking to be missing in your bathroom and items not to work upon arrival. I dealt with a Natural Gas leak in the apartment for the first week and ended up calling Excel Energy myself three separate times to have the problem addressed. Rachael in Management did not understand the severity of a natural gas leak and asked me to wait until the next day to fix the problem on one occasion. Ultimately, 3 gas leaks were found and management never followed up or offered compensation for the inconvenience.This property is not maintained. It it overrun by dog poop, cigarette butts, and trash. Although this is advertised as a Non Smoking property, roughly half of the residents here smoke on their balconies, in the apartments, or at the corner of the property entrance. Buildings are only cleaned if you submit a maintenance request and the property charges you for common area electricity, gas and water that supply things like the pool, exterior lights, the clubhouse, etc. Common area charges amount to $70 a month on top of your electric bill and cable/wifi bill.After living here for almost 1 year, it is apparent that the property isnt holding up to regular wear and tear. Paint is falling off trim and doors. Large cracks have appeared in the walls running vertically and horizonatlly. One of these runs 6 feet across the wall in my apartment.Management has been a complete nightmare to deal with and it is no better speaking to the regional manager who took a month to respond to ongoing problems. Speaking to other residents, they have dealt with the same pushback from management who seems to lack any customer service skills and would rather argue than admit the issues you have ran into are unacceptable.

Ive been living here for only a few months and it already feels like home. Fantastic management, amenities that are justifiably open with restrictions and that attitude towards safety is just one of the plethora of reasons I feel the 5 stars are justified.

Excited to welcome our new neighbor, Railway Flats, to Centerra! They are leasing new apartment homes off Centerra Parkway and have an amazing two-story clubhouse and amenity package, within walking distance to the sculpture park.
