They are so rude and unprofessional. I called to let them know I still have not gotten paid and they was so rude, getting smart with me and not letting me talk. I had to call a million times to even talk to somebody. I will never work for them again .

So much trouble with this branch its unreal. If I could leave negative stars I would . Never pay on time. They never answer or return calls. I went in to talk to someone to get my pay and first it was my background which wounded up being the wrong person they pulled then for me to get paid it was a drug screen which is not required by the facility since the 11 years Ive been the branch then it was well since youre not going to take a drug screen we cannot pay you ...after that they wound up paying me but the branch manager was rude to me got smart with me and told me that I was trespassing and going to call the cops all over me just wanting to get paid...most awful place to work for...called coorporate to make a report. Have the people that work at the Walmart arent even there they sign in and leave. Worst place....

People Ready has found my friend and myself jobs during a time everyone else, including us has lost their jobs do to the Corona Virus. They have called us when there has been anything changing with our job tickets.......etcI would recommend them to everyone. I read a couple posts, and just my opinion, however I agree theyre hard to get in touch with, however with patience, and remembering how busy they must be..... just wait a certain period of time and try them again and again until you do talk to someone personally. The jobs are good it’s just they rarely pay on time, it’s almost impossible to talk to someone on the phone.

They never tell you when jobs cancel and they never pay on time. If we get paid everyday then why do it take yall two days to pay. Plus you can never get someone to answer the phone.

They never even try to get you a job .also they dont even pick up the phone it just rings on an on so there trash of an office. You get a one star good luck.

I use to love this company. Well at least when I worked out of the Bardstown, Kentucky area. Since Ive transferred to the Louisville office on Bardstown Rd. I have not had a good experience. Not once! They are extremely unprofessional and rude. I felt like me calling them was a burden of their time. Although its their job to help me. This past job will be the last job Ill ever work for them, although I come highly recommended from the event coordinator Chris at the University of Louisville. I try my best to make this company look good on every assignment they send me and in return I never get a phone call back, Im spoken at and not to. Pepper needs to be let go because her attitude is the absolute worse. Ive only had one person there that spoke to me like a decent human being but she wasnt very much help. I worked an assignment on Saturday 12/14/19 at UofL which went on 3 and 1/2 hours later then what I was told I would be working. However I stayed because I wanted to make this company that makes me feel like nothing look good. And here I am still no payment for MY work and when I ask whats going on with MY money that I worked hard for Im approached as if Ill get it when I get it and Im getting on their nerves asking. I have recommended this company to many but never again will I .

The idea of the computer is great the actual people running the Louisville KY branch arent so idea. They do not fully value their own employees and act as if youre inconveniencing them if you call up for them to do there job. The organization could be a hell of a lot better and the obvious fact that they are looking down their noses at you is impossible to overlook Ive worked for them about a month now and I give it another week before I am employed elsewhere and no I would not recommend anyone putting themselves through the stress of being employed through them.

Staff was friendly, and worked diligently to find labor I could do. Getting paid within a 24hr. period is a Plus. Theyll work as hard 4 U, as U do for them.

The whole daily pay thing just needs to be changed and forgotten about if they cant do their job. People have kids to feed. Just change it to strictly weekly pay already

Very poor ran place!! If they need you They will put a hold on your money and never once try to call you.. So when your getting paid by the day and make plans for the holidays with your pay and it dont show up oh well!! Go in there to fix the problem and the guy working knows nothing about whats going on. Wonder why they cant find good help. If you need quick money for acouple days yeah but not the branch you want to work for..

I was told that you would get paid the same day that you work but you get paid 24 hours after job completion. Why do they lie to us?????

Worse labor service I have ever had the misfortune of going to. My wife and I went to a 4 hour construction orientation class at the Louisville office last Monday and was told we were to be paid $10.25 an hour for it. Its now 1 1/2 weeks later, no pay yet, and all calls to office never calls you back. I was warned about this place never paying on time, if at all, and now I know its true! Its a shame that people spend their time and money coming here needing work just to be used...

Terrible employer, I accepted a job, wasted my gas to get out there just for the guy to tell me to go home because he had canceled. Then I called to see if they would help me figure something out and they said, Im not seeing your name in the dispatch for that job, BULL!!! I know for a fact my name was on there because not too long after I called the ticket was taken off my account by guess who? People Ready. These guys are a joke. They offered no compensation for wasting my gas and sending me on a wild goose chase.

So far so good. Everyone is nice and polite. Cant understand why its getting suchbcrappy reviews. Its a work by the day place. You know what ur getting urself into when u applied.

No organization, communication, common sense. Pick and choose who they want to give jobs to(favoritism) and no one EVER answers. Dispatched to a job via stacker app. Early Sunday morning,30mins from home. No one there, call and call, leave messages making them aware, waited for an hour. They have taken the time to since remove my job ticket to make it look as if I was never there. Still havent heard back. No reimbursement for time or gas. Reporting to BBB and DOL. word of advice DONT GO HERE

Tried to get some labor help for my company doing several jobs out of town. Crappiest phone connections Ive ever had and after 4 calls, (all three locations in the Louisville KY area go to the same answering service), & talking to the snottiest woman EVER, I have yet to receive a call back from an actual labor ready location, 2 days now with no return phone call. I guess my guy will be on his own for 3 days with NO HELPER. Why advertise a service if youre going to refuse to provide it? Contacted the head office too...never heard a word back. ***LABOR NOT READY*** You all just lost a good customer. Thanks for nothing.

Worked Saturday at convention center downtown for Levys . Still havent been payed, and icey on cake arrived Sunday was told we werent needed that pep ready sent text to everyone did not receive the text until 130 pm after I had payed to park . Would never work for company most unorganized pepole ready . Dont waste your time unless you want the Hassel of chasing your pay !

Terrible !!!!Im the only one doing an application and the 3 females inside who are not busy cant stop to help meThe website does not work, and the employees apparently dont either! Theyy speak to you like you are dumb. I am not a felon and Im educated, so dont talk down to me or ignore me!

I worked through them for about a month between jobs, and boy did it suck. First off, you have to get there by 6am. Not a major nitpick but Im personally not used to getting up that early. I worked most of the time for minimum wage, and the work was not worth it. Working for waste management wasnt very bad, but I worked for a rug cleaning service, it felt like a sweatshop, with the manager coming out of his office every now and then to see how the lackeys were doing then retreat to his office. The two worst were these:1. I had to go out of county and work for this guy who put in the job description general clean up. I thought okay, janitor duties, not too hard. I was working outside in the 95° heat, using power tools, and I wound up with an awful sunburn. The man I was working with was hardly there. No food or sunscreen offered to me.2. I was working for this brewery off of Waffen ln. I was given a hard hat and we were to install shelving for the barrels of poison. It was easy at first when it was just ground level. But the shelving went about 50 ft high. I had to climb up with no safety equipment or harnasses and shakily install this awkward, heavy shelving. I was afraid that Id fall to my death with nothing there to stop me.This company is terrible. Even installing the shelving I was only making 8.50 an hour. Avoid this crap company at all costs.

Make no sense to sacrifice weekend then come Monday have chase your money to be paid. The very last weekend i work for them!

My fiancé called around 5pm to see why his app wasnt populating any jobs. Turns out, he needed to fill out his tax return forms. The lady on the phone told him to stop by on Monday between 9-2. We were already in the neibhorhood and figured it looks good trying to get the job done early (since they were still open) and I guess this staffing agency likes people who are lazy and procrastinate. My fiancé is a Vetern and is very polite. He walked in to fill out his form because he was eager to start work and we have children to support. They dont close until 6 (its 5:20) and his form will literally take 5 minutes to fill out. When he walks in and asks nicely about the form, he mentions that the lady said to wait until Monday but he wanted to be productive since they were still open and thought maybe she made a mistake. The lady then replied well, if she told you to come Monday, you need to come Monday. We really busy. My fiancé looks around and the whole place is EMPTY!!! My fiancé looks around and says well maam you dont look busy right now and she says very rudly fine! Whats your social?! And he gets back in the car. After he gets in and tells me what happens, I go back in there and told her how in times where everyone is rude, its important to be generous and I didnt appreciate how she treated my fiancé. She was smiling and grinning from ear to ear and just being a smart ass all around. It was disgusting. I am so shocked how someone can be so immature and hateful. Her name was DANA.
