Once I was able to get in and be seen it all worked out. Leila did everything she could to make sure I was made whole. The system is absolutely ridiculous but the workers try to help fix your issues.

Made another appointment because the two different people I seen cant seem to email me back! All I need is to update my payment method!!! So I can request my payments! They give me their email address but dont respond lolMy last appointment 2 weeks ago, she was supposed to contact someone to fix my account so I can change my payment method. But nope! Its still messed up. So I made another appointment, will have to leave work early again to maybe meet with a different person and hopefully they will help me.

I would have given 0 stars but thats not an option. If you are thinking of moving here. DONT. The leadership cant figure out how to make.a functioning system. You cant make an appointment, you cant call for help,l. Youll just have to be hungry here. Do yourself a favor, move to Indiana.

I cant get an appointment online or call so I go down there and they say fill out a piece of paper and will call you in a couple days a week later I go back and they tell me that when I filled out the paper they would told me it would be a few weeks. That is not what the lady said first off so yet I have not received a phone call and my issues havent been resolved. Very frustrating that theres absolutely nothing that can be done

You can not reach them at all. They say someone will call and nothing. Its a nightmare. I got laid off at my job due to covid and they never opened back up. I have not seen not one set for unemployment not even a phone call from these people. But let somebody whos never had a job sign up for unemployment and they get it immediately.

Still have make an appointment online to get in the door. Then show up at your appointment time. I guess they are doing the best they can.

My worker was very helpful and fixed everything for me. I was very pleased she wasnt trying to rush me out the door.

It is impossible to accomplish anything with THE KENTUCKY UNEMPLOYMENT OFFICE. Phone numbers on website are not answered,some numbers are disconnected! Appointments are encouraged only to find a NO APPOINTMENTS AVAILABLE posted on website. What are people supposed to do when the Government of Kentucky is doing nothing to help taxpayers find solutions? We cant speak to anyone and we cant make appointments! People are in dire situations and need answers and change to this office.

Today your phone line shut off at 3:15 pm. It said our offices are now closed please call between or normal business hours of 8 am and 430 pm. I live and called from the Eastern time zone and it was saying you were closed a little after 3pm EST? No one is answering emails or calling you back. The line is still busy. I called 93 times today before a voice message came on saying they were closed early in EST time zone!! ???

Had in person appt 4-21-21. Was told my claim was under fact finding and would be a determination made either way in 10 days or less. Ive been waiting since 12-2-20 and still I have heard nothing... Contacted mayors office And news for help. Still waiting....

Even though: I filed a claim and a monetary determination decision in my favor allowed me to request a first check on 12/21, I have yet to receive any payment. Now I find myself unable to even login to the website due to the needed change to the PIN to 8 characters from 4. I have yet to receive a PIN number in the mail and I have found it impossible to get through on the Kentucky UI Helpline....hats off to the unsung heroes that have been working behind the scenes. The Commonwealth owes you a debt of gratitude. Thank you for your service.

The wait was about 20 minutes to talk to someone, but overall I was happy about how fast the employee answered my questions and wasnt there too long

Yes you can get a hold of them if your are they first caller. Lol yes but if your are willing to stay on the hold for yes 7hrs and 20mins. Yesterday!! For fact- finding issue poor very poor

My daughter and i keep calling to no avail to determine why claim under investigation when no reason for it. She hasnt even received a letter saying she is even under investigation. Missing 6 weeks of claims so far. It says to keep filing. But no way to talk to a person on phone. Cant schedule a call back or appointment on line. Booked for months. And Cant go to office in person because there all closed.

Spousal Covid 19 quarantine JULY 2020--2 wks. Started applying Aug 2020 total of 10 times. Each time, system tells me to reapply though account summary page says request money. Now I am supposed to verify identity but cannot delete the other documents. System cannot add documents so I cannot verify. Claim isnt even classified PUA. Have emailed offices of Gov. B, TWO state reps, sent physical mail to UI office and Gov. office, commented on GOV. FB page, & of course called too many times to count. BOTH US senators dont even accept unemployment inquiries. NO ONE the least bit effective. Beyond ridiculous.

Was let go 13 months ago in the height of the pandemic. Was requested to prove identity a month or two later, which I did the very same day. 8 months after that I get a notice saying unapproved because I didn’t prove identity. Forwarded the email thread where I proved my identity to the appeals email address on the letter. It’s been 5 months since that and have not received any response and cannot get through by phone now for 13 months.

While I realize that were experiencing events that we werent prepared for, we should be on top of the backlog by now. Im on week three of trying to speak to a human being about my claim. Three weeks of system generated messages of someone will call you back. I am literally stuck until someone interviews me. So what do I tell the electric company?

Ive been calling since August 26, 2020 and not just the Louisville facility, all of Kentucky. The only office thats even answering the phones is Covington and theyre not dealing with unemployment insurance cases. Poor leadership, one of the poorest states in the country and has the worst experience and effectiveness with helping its citizens in time of need 6 month backlog Id be dead right now if it wasnt for family helping me out. I still have not received a call its 3-12-21

I was recently one of the many victims of unemployment insurance fraud. Despite the fact that I do not live, nor have ever lived, in the state of Kentucky, they still approved the benefits to the fraudster. They even sent me my claims notice to my residence in another state. How on Earth in this day and age with computers, can they approve benefits to a person who has never been a resident of their state? I cannot speak of the other services they provide but if theyre anything along the lines of how poorly they managed this fraud, they cant be good.

I filed 3 months ago and still nothing! How do they expect people to live.......

Terrible, another goverment run to the ground and does not know how to do anything. I never talked to one person in the system. I was returned back to the same automation system, put on some waiting list to call back, never got a call back. Oh wait, got a call back from the automation system to tell me i am still on the waiting list. I even called with two numbers and never got called back on one. Oh yea also the email that was on their website DOES NOT WORK.

Hard to review a service that almost doesnt exist in Kentucky. They have may the system convoluted with almost no way of contacting anyone for assistance. Places are understaffed so they cant even get to people in a timely manner. Which would be okay if the online option worked well, but it doesnt. Its an outdated system that doesnt help people of there are any issues.

On the same boat as everyone been waiting for my benefits, I’ve tried calling, email, showing up in person to the office. Nothing!!! I’ve honestly given up at this point. The fact our so much “Great Government” has failed us. I don’t know what to do at this point. I feel that at this point, us the people have to organize and protest our governor, to show that we need to be heard! We need actual action, not false promises or that “we are working on it”.How is that dine-in is closed but yet you can eat outside/patio, yet you have malls open, literally people shopping touching clothes, how can they can keep up with sanitation, yet restaurant workers can’t. No access. No - clear, messages on the locked doors. Someone was waiting, & had been there, before. That person helped me with the number I needed. If I were not, already, applying for - denied, unemployment insurance, in IN - through a COVID-19 plan, I would be more upset. 😷

My fiance still says under investigation he owes child support hes still heard nothing from unemployment but the child support division sent him a letter stating they were taking so much of it a week towards his child support.... But hasnt heard a word from unemployment its still as if he hasnt applied this makes no sense to me!!!!!!

You can never get a hold of anyone. Every time you call, you get put into a wait que. They say Im under investigation and asked for documents that I provided weeks ago but still no response. I love living in KY but the the KY Unemployment office here is a disgrace. I worked for an Unemployment office in another state from 2009 - 2014 n dont understand why KY cant get it together. Ive been waiting for a call or to be able to get thru to a live person since May n have yet to talk to anyone. I even gave them an explanation of a dual state claim n nothing...may as well say they stole money from us.

So apparently, Im under investigation?!?! Cant get anyone on the phone, no response. This whole thing is evil in a great time of need.

Took them 7 months to return my phone call. Least to say because of that I was unable to collect my monthly payment that was due to me.

Been waiting since April for my unemployment. Got a call January 25th and was sent 2 documents to fill out to get my money sent to me. Its completely unbelievable. You get absolutely no response to questions or issues you may have or are having. When you call to speak to someone it claims they are busy and someone will call you back. I called over two months ago and have yet to receive a call back. This is such a disappointment that our program ran by our government is so flawed and broken. I suggest we need to clean out jobs. Considering they arent doing them properly anyway.

I am not getting any response on my claim. I believe I made a mistake. Its sat there since the 27th unprocessed. They tell you to make an appointment at the Frankfort office. It feels like a weed out process. No appointments available all the way through December. Forcing someone to take any job is why there are turn over rates that are high. Have tried to get in touch with them thousands of times with no luck, did end up with an appointment over 2hrs away from home.

I received a letter telling me to reapply for unemployment for my extension. Ive been calling for 3 weeks and they still have not returned my call, saying Im in the queue. I just get an automated response saying sorry they couldnt get back to me every Friday. I submitted information for identity verification and it said it would take two to three days to pass. Its been 8 days now. I cant go without my unemployment. I will lose my home.

Ive been trying to get in contact with them since April 2020, been in the phone queue since then and this month I received a letter saying I was eligible in regards to issue of being able and available. But still have not received any payment, and had to refile another claim which reset all the payment eligibility information on my UI home page. I gave up applying for payments some time ago then I got this paper.Ive stopped receiving queue phone calls, which were down to once every two weeks.Im now a homeless veteran, about to lose my storage unit with everything I have left. I cant even afford the non-covered pet deposit to get a place through the VOA program. Constantly applying for jobs but nobody will hire me. Ive been at the end of my rope for some time now, I cant think of any other way out but ending it at this point. I dont even have the money for gas if they tell me to go to frankfurt to be told some excuse.

I have tried daily twice a day on the phone to be put in a que which just calls me back to say Im in a que and on the web help page which absolutely does not work it is good for nothing. I have sent in my information such as identity card numerous times for it to return failed . The unemployment system in this state is in chaos as we lose our homes our cars and our dignity. Were supposed to pay for this or be punished. Who holds these people accountable. Not even our Governor .or Mitch McConnel will answer the emails That have been sent. What farce we pay in the end its only us that pays the price for their arrogance.

0 stars! After receiving unemployment benefits for weeks now, I get hit with “credit given, no check issued”. Unable to reach anyone for help or to understand what is going on. I emailed and called multiple times to only be put in a “waiting queue” that probably doesn’t exist after reading the other reviews on here. Stop playing with people’s money. Did I mention there is also no in person appointments available either. Ridiculous.
